We had a very small room on the 4th floor, but it had a bath so that was a bonus. It's close to the opera so we had nearby parking. The breakfast was very nice!

No coffee machine or water cooker in the room. The breakfast room is to small to fit all the people

What likely drew me to the hotel was the interior decor & design in the listing. This was certainly the case in person and it was easily the best interior decor & design of any Hotel so far of about 8 in France. All the room facilities worked well. Front of house staff all very pleasant and English spoken. I can recommend pizza at Stromboli on next block too, compact but very amiable.

I broke my normal rule of staying near the rail station - it is slightly downhill to virtually the river but it is almost 20 mins. Definitely took the tram back up the hill to the station. As a single room, at 11sq.m. it is virtually impossible to get around the bed to the far side - OK for single but difficult for two.

A very nicely decorated hotel in a great location. Breakfast had very high quality food, though choice was a little limited. The room was small but with plenty of space for one person, found I could balance the toiletries I needed in the shower easily enough

A couple of small points- could have had a soap dispenser for the sink and small square pillow in room. Bed was quite short, had a double bed so could spread out but space would have been trickier if staying as a couple

Air con great. Bed and black out curtains are very good, too. Very quiet room.

We were told that we could not eat or drink in the room. We had just driven 3 hours and just wanted to lie down with a cup of tea, but no tea or coffee in the room. We were told the coffee machine in the dining room was broken, but we were told that we could have one, but it would take a while. We decided on a couple of colas, but the receptionist seemed to be making personal calls on the phone while we were waiting for the drinks for ages.

I think it was a very small room I had as a single, but they say it can be a double. Not if you have luggage. The room was wonderfully quiet at night, the bed was fine. They have superb curtains that cancel out the street lights and sun. I found the doors hard to push open, but I regard this as an anti-fire precaution and am happy. The shower was a marvel of adjustable hot water at adjustable speed. The bathroom altogether was pleasant, though small. I wish I could bring the shower home. I didn’t use the tv or WiFi. Nice personnel, the one request I had was quickly satisfied.

Really nice boutique hotel for ourselves a great location just a couple of minutes walk to the opera and close to the old town cathedral and plenty of restaurants along with underground parking on the doorstep.

No downsides that I can think of.

Front desk staff (just one guy whose name I unfortunately did not get) was kind and very helpful. This is a small hotel but well equipped. Breakfast is available and has lots of choices. A fuse blew out after 11 pm in our room but the staff came immediately and fixed it.

The room is a bit tight with no luggage racks and very little space to place a small suitcase (carryon!).

Modern, well-equipped and nicely decorated hotel room. It's perfectly located to dive right into the center of beautiful Rouen. Parking in the nearby Opera parking garage was possible at a fair price (~15 or 16€/24h). Very friendly staff, room was very clean. If you're visiting as a couple, depending on what you're used to at home, the french double bed might be a bit narrow for your taste. 😉 If you like to have lots of space when sleeping, you might be better suited with the superior double bedroom.

We had a great stay at Hotel Paulette. The hotel was clean, the location was excellent, and we were able to walk to the main attractions the city has to offer. The staff was friendly, kind, helpful and very welcoming.

The hotel is quite modern on the inside, although the building appears old from the exterior. It's quite conveniently located; within easy walking distance to most of the towns primary attractions.

Sometimes the front desk was not staffed during regular business hours. The seating for breakfast was small and sometimes overcrowded. Relatively minor things.
