The hotel is located in front of a large main street right next to the Manzoni Metro stop and allows you to easily navigate the city. When you enter the lobby/reception it smells very nice, the space is big and you can sit on the comfortable sofas. At the reception you will find a map of the city and the staff is helpful. There were 4 of us and we booked the room with 2 areas, 2 bathrooms, 2 TVs, a safe and playstation! Everything was clean and if you wish they clean it every day. They provide you with bubble bath, shampoo, body cream, etc. The breakfast area is beautiful, comfortable and the breakfast is large, wonderful with variety and everything is delicious! Many and various croissants, eggs with bacon, freshly baked rolls with Italian cold meats! Their coffee is perfect! Surely this hotel knows how to take care of its customers and we will come again! I recommend it!

There was plenty of nice food at the breakfast buffet, they have a luggage room to store your luggage for free, free coffee and lemon water in the lobby area, walking distance to Colosseo

Very noisy street outside but that might just be Rome I general, other than that everything was very good!

It was our first time in Rome. The room was clean and comfortable. The reception was helpful and the bar staff were friendly. The hotel is very close to the Colosseum even on foot.. Metro stop is just outside the hotel.

With the exception of one elderly man, the staff were courteous and accommodating. My flight was earlier than anticipated, and the young lady at the desk did all in their power to allow me to check in early without incurring any fees. All in all, I had a very pleasant stay. Both the restaurant staff and the cleaners are quite kind and always willing to help. The location is walking distance to several attractions, and the availability of public transit is an added bonus.

However, the attitude of one older male staff member was quite upsetting and unpleasant. His politeness and willingness to assist were highly influenced by your ethnic background.

The staff was great, very helpful and very nice. Good breakfast with specials things for the gluten intolerant. They clean the rum och change the towels everyday. Near coliseum.

You hear your neighbors a lot, every time they went to the bathroom and peed or when they flushed the toilet and if they move a chair or something for example which caused that you get disturbed att night. The insulation between the rooms is not working och there is no any insulation. It’s a pity because otherwise every else is excellent.

Hotel is good and comfortable, well located as well, just in front of Manzoni metro station which leaves you 16 minutes away from Vatican and 15 minutes by walk from Colosseum. We had an issue in our room where the bath was not working properly and the front desk staff immediately changed out room, although the new room was smaller than the original one given it was funcional.

No major issues apart from the second room given being smaller than the original faulty one. Ps. Pics attached are the original room before the change

Amazing, stable Internet connection! Was able to get much work done. Superb breakfast made even better with a morning chat with the Filipino staff who were all smiles and very helpful (they took great pictures of my family). Imagine, they have champagne in the morning. Felt like a President... Close to the train station by cab as we connected by train from San Giovanni. This was our second leg. And a good 10-minute walk to the Colosseum. Very close to scenic spots. Appreciated that the hotel always had coffee and lemon water at the lobby. A+ to all those in the front desk (they were patient, gave us a map and shaving kits, lent us adaptors for the power socket) and the gentleman who helped us get settled in our room. We value customer experience (Cx) and this one of the best that we have had in the Italian cluster, as a family, over the years.

None at all. It was a perfect experience! We didn't mind that the room was not ready when we arrived. This allowed us to explore the nearby areas on foot and had a good early dinner before finally checking in.

1.The facilities in the room, right from the tea and coffe maker, locker, a well equipped bathroom with toiletries, swift wi-fi, great lighting, the ample closet space...So much more.. 2. The lovely lady at the reception who actually lent me a connector for charging my phones in Rome and was so friendly, welcoming and helpful in every way. 3. The most comfortable and well equipped room no. 333. I loved it. 4. The wonderful breakfast spread and three course dinner and the great staff who served it to me with a greeting and friendly smile everyday. Dining here at any time of the day was a truly 5-star experience. 5. The amazing location, right on the main road and so close to all the attractions. 6. The general ambience of the hotel and its absolute popularity with everyone in Rome. It's a well known address and the taxi drivers call it, 'The President .'

I stayed at Hotel Best Wester President Colosseo, Rome for 8 nights and honestly, there's nothing I could find to dislike. They adhere to standards of excellence.

We’ve now stayed here 4 times and it makes a great home base in Rome. The family room with 2 separate sleeping areas, 2 bathrooms and the single beds accommodated our families needs. The breakfast is a nice option in the morning. For our family most of the major Rome attractions are well within walking distance with Vactican City being furthest at about an hour and the Colosseum about 15 mins (but you can see it while you walk). Also they were able to book an airport transfer in a minivan for our return to FCO for 65 euro (10 more than a cab but the ease of this option was worth it).

Excellent breakfast with a wide variety of healthy and delicious food. Besides black coffee machine, waiters offered us a cappuccino every morning as soon as we entered the breakfast area. Reception staff was so helpful (they always guided us meticulously when we asked for advice or directions. The room was clean and it included a safe, an electric kettle and tea bags, and also a tv with many Italian channels.

Noise from other rooms, detached floor metal strip separating bedroom from bathroom which might cause tripping over and short shower curtain making it impossible not to splash water out of shower tray (ideally curtains are replaced by longer ones or better still by perspex shower cubicles). This is only intended as constructive criticism as the overall experience was positive and we would gladly use this hotel again in the future.
