The location is great taking you just few minutes walking to Colosseum, while metro and bus station also very close. Neighbourhood full of smaller shops and caffès. The room is spacious, having its own bathroom. There is also a very well equipp ed shared kitchen with delicious coffee as a complimentary.

Rooms' doors are pretty weak, so all house noise can be heard just as it is in your room. Breakfast served in neighbourhood caffès means serving just coffee and croissaint. Avoid Gatsby caffè on Sunday - guests with BB vouchers cannot be seated inside.

A decent room, not luxury but clean and spacious. We appreciated the complimentary coffee/tea and kitchen access. Wonderful staff (we communicated perfectly). Breakfast is offered in a nearby coffee shop where you can choose between sweets, croissants or sandwiches. Daily cleaning. Proximity to subway, railway station and city center.

No actually a negative points, but a recommendation for other visitors - to keep in mind that there is a city tax not included in the price on booking but this is common practice for many accommodations in Italy. Personally, I prefer to have all costs included in the price from the beginning.

We were only at the hotel for two days but the room was very nice, clean, and cozy with a balcony. It's location is less than 30min. from the train station. The host is also very quick to respond to any concerns or questions.

The hotel rooms are located on the third floor and there's alot of stairs. We needed to be buzzed in each time after exiting the main door. The shower is really small with no door to stop water from leaking on the floor. Limited breakfast selection at a Cafe.

We felt quite safe staying there. We read some reviews that the area wasn’t safe but it was much the same as other parts of Rome We arrived around 22.00 hrs at the property but access was simple. Location from the Colosseum was very close, approximately 15 minutes. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the kitchen was organised well, the fridge being divided up with 4 separate containers for each room. The coffee machine was great and there was an ample supply of coffee pods and tea bags all free of charge. We were very happy and would recommend.

We loved our room at El Dorado- very specious, very clean and with everything you need and even more. There are few little touches which will make your stay even more enjoyable and could see that the owners really care about the comfort of their guests. There is a shared kitchen you can prepare coffee/tea any time of a day, where you’ll find a fridge/freezer, kettle, microwave but also an iron! There is some free fruit you can refresh yourself with. How thoughtful! You get some tips where to eat or go for gelato, etc. We met Manuela at our check in and she was very kind and happy to answer any of our questions. Breakfast is served just next door at the cafe (we really liked their cappuccino)- you have a yummy choice of pastry and any coffee. You get some essentials in your bathroom (shower gel, body lotion, shampoo, soap). We loved their towels! I wish we have the same at home :). You get a choice of pillows- fantastic! Really good value for money. I also need to highlight the great location (very near the metro stop (Manzoni) and not far to Colosseum (15 min walking distance). There is a gorgeous old lift in the building- functional indeed :). Thank you!

Thank you for an unforgettable stay! The property is just 2 minutes walk from Manzoni Metro stop. In 15 minutes walk you reach Colosseum. The building has as an elevator. The appartment was big, warm (it has AC) and it had warm water at all times. Housekeeping cleans the rooms every day. There is a very clean shared kitchen, where you have complimentary coffee and tea every day. Breakfast that is served in Caffe Ciamei is very tasty. You can choose any coffee and a croissant or doughnut. Value for money. Manuela and Cristiano are amazing hosts. Great experience! Grazie mille!

Nice spacious room. The windows kept out a lot of noise and the provided breakfast from a local cafe tasty. Easy walking distance to metros to discover the city and the area was safe with plenty of local amenities. We were able to check in slightly earlier which was nice. Smart TV in room and stash of coffee in the shared kitchen was a nice touch.

Shower door didn't close completely, leaving a 1cm gap where water did get out onto the floor. Wasn't a big deal but did make the bathroom a bit wetter.

The hosts were really friendly. Rooms were spacious. Extra pillows in the wardrobe if you wanted them. Air conditioning unit so room is nice and cold when you’re back. Not too far to walk from places. Breakfast vouchers to a really lovely cafe down the road.

I only had two problems: when it rained the rain actually came into the building that the property is in. There was black mould on the back of the bathroom door and behind one of the plug sockets in the room.

Breakfast close to the apartment, Hosts are super nice. Close to all tourist attractions. Would definitely stay there again if I came back to Rome

The room was so clean and made up everyday. Not like a normal hotel, felt like an apartment almost but with a shared kitchen. We had the room with the balcony which really added to it for us. It was about a 20 minute walk to the Colosseum, so a lot of walking once you get to the Spanish Steps etc but we loved it
