Room is exactly as it is on pictures, and it has a wonderful balcony! Stuff is very friendly, it was a pleasure nearing them every day The area feels safe, although railway station is close Also our room was ready, so I was able to check in at 10. Thanks a lot!

Unfortunately, you can hear everything behind the door AC is very loud (but at least there is in which is not typical for Rome) Reception area feels a bit “tired” — when I saw it got scared smth would be wrong with room (but the room was good, so it was a wrong impression in the end)

I really liked this accommodation, it had an amazing location, only a few minutes from Termini station or the closest metro stop. From there, it was possible to get to the city centre easily. The room itself was very nice and clean. I especially appreciated the warm welcome from the staff, who was super fun and nice. He told us many tips about Rome, which was really helpful.

The only small minus was that the fridge and coffee maker in our room did not work.

The location of this property is perfect for the train station where you can also access the metro or bus service. We were greeted by our wonderful host who showed us to our room and explained everything we needed to know about our stay. He also showed us a map of the city and gave us some brilliant and helpful tips on how to get to where we wanted to go as well as ideas of good places to eat.. Ask about the pizza place around the corner it’s amazing.., The room is basic but clean and tidy, perfect as a base for a city break… no frills but homely, warm and comfy and felt very safe and secure. You have your own bathroom which is just out side the room, and again basic but perfect for a quick shower and off again… Thank you so much for making myself and my children feel so welcome and well looked after, we had more interaction with host and information about the city than we ever would of got staying at a big hotel xxx

Nothing that we didn’t like at all, You get what you pay for at the end of the day, we paid basically around £60 a night for three people and it was a perfect base for the city, and super quality for this kind of price xxx

Kind receptionist gave good advice on Rome and good places to eat. Good value for the money. I felt safe in the area. Good restaurants nearby, and a good breakfast place.

Be aware that the private bathroom is in the hallway. For a longer stay this may be an issue. Was fine for 3 days.

The gentleman at the desk was very helpful and warned about scams used by restaurants and services to get more money out of tourists. He was also helpful with restaurant recommendations. The location was an easy walk from Roma Termini train station.

There was a power outage for around 1-1/2 to 2 hours while I was there, but this was not the fault of the guest house. Also, the shower was quite small, with barely enough room to move.

Room was very comfortable and clean. A really nice surprise was the espresso maker in the room! The air conditioning was much appreciated. We tend to view hotel rooms as needing to provide nothing more than a clean, safe, and comfortable place to sleep and this went over and beyond! Plus the manager was super helpful with suggestions for places to eat and other fun things to do around the city. We would definitely stay there again!

This is a very minor issue, but it was a little far from some of the major tourist attractions. It was not a very big deal, though, as we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the public transit. Between buses and trains, we found it very easy to get where we wanted to go.

The Place In Rome is a charming place to stay and well situated so that with a bit of walking or a trip in some local transit you can take in a lot of the city in a day. But the really great thing is the staff, who are personable, knowledgeable and helpful. They'll help you get oriented in and prepared for the city and will work flexibly and hard to ensure you have a good experience, really going above and beyond.

James answered all my questions immediately, and we received a warm welcome from him. Thank you James C!! Pizzeria and Restaurant recommendations were on point! Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Glad to have had restful sleep after a long way of walking!

My coffee maker did not work but plenty of coffee shops nearby. :)

Unfortunately, there was a noticeable lack of basic equipment, including glasses, which was a bit inconvenient during everyday use. It would be worth supplementing this to make the stay even more comfortable. Apart from that, everything was fine.

I think this place was great and the host was welcoming and sympathetic. The Place in Rome Guest House is also really close to public transportation and make it really easy for anyone to have access to the most touristic places. The room was good for 1 or 2 people and everything was working as expected.
