Found a bed bug on one of the beds. When we told the customer service, they quickly sent cleaner to the room. There are flies in the water closet. The bunk bed only has futon mattress which is very thin for those who are not used to it, but the single beds have really good mattresses.

Nice basic little hotel. Good location as Shinjuku, restaurants, shopping and the metro were only a 5-10 minute walk away. The hotel was clean and warm, had all the facilities we needed. When you book here, bear in mind this is a staffless hotel and you don't get all the bells and whistles that come with a large hotel. There's no where to leave your luggage if you want to book in early, that kind of thing. We thought it was all pretty cool though, we really enjoyed it.

Nothing. We knew there was no staff when we booked, and I read the instructions for the entry, easy peasy!!

The facilities and the hotel room were great. We loved the amenities room where they provide you with all necessities (towels, soap, shampoo, batteries, flat iron), they also have board/card games available. Location was also very good, it was surrounded by convenience stores, restaurants, and the closest train station is about 3-4 minutes by foot.

No luggage storing option before checking in. We arrived around 1:00pm during check-in and had to wait 2 hours carrying our luggage around to get something to eat.

Excellent apartment for a family of four (2 adults & 2 teenagers). Small kitchenette, dining area, bunk beds & 2 singles which were a decent size, bathroom with excellent heating (averaging 1 degrees 🥶 at night) & separate toilet. Very clean room!! They supplied large bottles of shampoo, conditioner & body wash products which were top quality. Water pressure in the shower very good & hot!! On the second floor they have laundry facilities (which includes detergent) to wash & dry your clothes, under $5 to wash & dry clothes. The location for us was brilliant, could walk easily to train stations even with your luggage, & there are lots of places to eat nearby. It was our first time to Japan, we felt very safe here! Excellent communication with step by step instructions regarding codes etc. We would stay here again! Aussies from Perth WA 🇦🇺

The beds were too firm.

Really enjoyed staying in this apartment. There is no concierge but the staff messaging on line respond very promptly. It was nice to be a tad out of the hustle and bustle but still within 5-10 min walking fi main area. We really liked the quiet. Close to trains.

We were given one small pillow each. I asked for another and got given one. I guess minor in the scheme of things. Trash and dirty towels had to be put outside the room by 9 am. We managed this ok… after realising this is what we had to do.

Centrally located and affordable little room a short walk from two subway stops and the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. The room is compact but well set up for four people and the shower is amazing!

We knew there was no reception and that was fine apart from when our luggage went missing at the airport and we had to wait for several hours outside the door of the property waiting for them to be delivered. If there had been a recent it would’ve been much easier to arrange drop off.

We traveled with a 4 year old who loved the kids playing in the park of an afternoon. Language barriers don’t worry kids. The hotel was well placed in a quiet neighbourhood and extremely easy access to the Red line with 1 stop to Main Shinjuku station. Property was clean and well prepped with items such as coffee, slippers, tooth brush etc

Not a lot to dislike. The check in at 3pm waiting for a code that then didn’t work was the only “small” downside but this was fixed with a message to hosts and a new code was sent.

It’s in fantastic location and once we figured out the various check-in, building entrance and door codes it was a breeze. The room was reasonably spacious for Tokyo, clean and the beds were comfortable. It had some cute books displayed in the room and it would be good place for families with younger kids too.

The initial check in was a bit fiddly as there are no staff on site. You just need to make sure you have ideally checked in before you leave home and have all the codes saved. It would have been nice to have some tea bags provided in addition to the coffee.

Convenient location. Nice and well-thought design. Comprehensive facilities and amenities, well-equipped kitchen. The room is spacious enough for a family of four. In-house laundry room (coin-operated).

Some spots in the room were dusty, the air conditioner filters and ventilation outlets were clogged by dust. We were a little puzzled by the self check-in process: the check-in itself went smoothly and we got the room number and code on the tablet. However, we were not instructed to check mail for the entrance code at that moment, and for long minutes had no clue how to get inside the building, until someone helped us. The laundry room tended to get very hot and humid during the drying process.

The location is fantastic. It's a safe family area, just a 10 min walk or two subway stops to shinjuku. Nice eating areas around the apartment. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need. We were even able to prepare a simple meal.

There is not much to dislike. The space in the apartment is a bit tight for storing and opening suitcases. Some tea towels would have been useful, and soap in the powder room.
