Clean and tidy room, breakfast included. Cleaning room service daily! The staff was kind and attentive! Safe residential area far from the city hustle and bustle.

Because it was our first time in Japan, we had no sense of the huge distances in a city such as Tokyo. Having said that, the nearest metro has no connections with places of interest or the airport and the next available is reachable in approx 15mns on foot, which is a hassle when you have heavy luggage. The location is quiet and more residential so if you’re looking for a place closer to the hustle and bustle you will feel quite distant here. The room felt small if you add our baggage and could use some renovation for the price but overall everything was clean and the staff very kind and attentive.

The hotel is great value for money and the location is good with metro and bus stations nearby. The staff is friendly and, although with limited English, they do their best to assist with anything. There are good restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance

The mattress was very hard, which made sleep uncomfortable. I arrived early and was informed that check in was at 3 pm. Although this is expected and absolutely understandable, I do not see the point of keeping so many people waiting at a packed lobby until it is exactly 3 o´clock, instead of allowing guests to check in as the rooms were gradually getting ready.

hotel is in a nice area, with supermarkets and some restaurants a short walk away. There are multiple metro stations within a 5-10 min walk. The room was ok, had all the needed amenities and the best was quite comfortable. There is a free shuttle that can drive you to the main train station, which is very useful

breakfast had quite limited choices and we found quite a bit of hair on the carpet (from previous guests)

Nice Business Hotel with comfortable rooms. Ideal if you travel for work. The bed is comfy, and the room is immaculate. The A/c has a heater to keep your room warm in the winter (You need to use a translator to understand which button does what in the A/c remort). The bathroom has a Japanese toilet with an auto wash facility. It has a bathtub and a shower. The room has a workbench, a flat-screen TV and a minibar. The room's Wi-Fi did not cause me any problems. A good buffet breakfast is served, and coin laundry service is available. Room service is done on a schedule, which is explained to you at the check-in. However, you will get new towels every day. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and skincare kits are provided free of charge. Green tea and soup sashes are also provided free. However, the hotel does not provide water to the rooms. You can collect your water from the dispenser in the lobby or buy bottles from the vending machines available in the lobby. Toyoko Inn is a very large hotel chain that is available in any corner of Japan. I selected this hotel for my last two business visits to Japan and stayed for a week in one visit. I will also choose the same hotel for my next visit.

The room and the bathroom are small, as in most Japanese hotels. You must use a translator to communicate with the staff and read instructions. Almost everything is in Japanese. The breakfast menu is nearly identical every day.

Additionally, the hotel offers a free shuttle service to Tokyo Station, making transportation more convenient. Conclusion: Toyoko Inn Tokyo Eki Shin-Ohashi Mae is a great budget-friendly option for travelers looking for a comfortable stay with good service and convenient transportation access in Tokyo.

Pros: Basic, clean, great customer service, cheap laundry facility. Staff can comprehend basic english (translate app the rest)

Cons: Traffic noise penetrates into rooms. Firm bed mattress. Thin sheets. As this hotel is on the suburb edge be prepared to walk 15 minutes to Ningyocho and Bakuroyokoyama Stations for direct trains to access other parts of the Tokyo Metropolitan Area. The nearest stations are Hamacho and Suitengumae Stations which require you to change trains.

The property is very near to various metro stations. It has a free shuttle to Tokyo Station. There is free breakfast too. The hotel staff is very accommodating and even though they do not speak English they will try to accommodate you and address your need. At night, it is very peaceful and tranquil as the area is within residential places. I like the vendo too as there is a very delicious nut treats in there. There are also very good restaurants and a tax free pharmacy to buy goodies to take home with you.

They also had many daily buses to and from Tokyo station. If you come from Tokyo station don't forget to use their services. There's also a close by place where you can watch sumo practices in the early morning. If you're interested, make sure to ask the staff for the information.

The beds were a little small, but it's the regular Japanese size, which is a little smaller than what we may be used to.

Breakfast was good!! Location is good. There’s plenty of train station and subways to use and travel around Tokyo.. You can also walk (like I did ) and take I this beautiful city.. It’s 30mins walk to Tokyo station. And about 3 hours walk to Shinjuku and Shibuya!!

Westerners need to learn the basic words in Japanese. Please, thankyou sorry excuse me.. don’t flick your cigarettes and your rubbish on the ground.. Take a bag and bottle for rubbish cigarettes butts..

Really enjoyed its location as it was easy to find and close to a few stations! the staff were friendly and helpful. room was nice and bathroom was good.

Overall it was good but the mattress was very hard and you can’t use the sink and shower at the same time which when travelling with a partner can make it a little difficult when getting ready
