The staff was very attentive. The rooms were gorgeous. Very clean and beautifully arranged. The location is super central.

It wasn't cute that on arrival we were informed we had to charge a "security deposit" of 100 pounds per night per room. Some how this was rounded out to 500 pounds total. There had been no warning of that, even though there had been a lot of messages from the hotel before check in. That amount was immediately charged on our credit card and it took another 5 days after we checked out for it to be refunded. Also not cute: a million (OK, not literally but felt like that) things in your room that you would be charged if you used, took, wanted. Felt like aggressive marketing all around. Also: I get it that staff wants to be friendly. Let's try to find the line between "friendly" and "intrusive".

The bed was super comfortable and the curtains were blackout. The shower pressure and bath/wash products were excellent. The coffee quality in the room was amazing. Electrical adapter provided by default. The hallways smelled amazing. The gym on Floor 1 was huge and brand new - even had a smith machine and plenty of space (high ceilings)

The bathroom didn't have a door or curtain. I was staying with my younger sister so that was non-ideal. The temperature panel buttons were a bit broken, had to press offset to the button to get it to work. No option to cast Netflix to the TV. The complimentary water bottles were glass so these were too heavy/dangerous to carry when exploring the city; lid was very tough to open.

Location was excellent, in the heart of the Covent Garden. Hotel is elegant, well kept, decorated nicely and spotless clean

Hotel definitely didn't meet the standards of a 5-star hotel. Room plan was terrible - 28 sqmr planned so inconveniently making every space small and dense, all spaces are separated by walls, even the toilet, sink and shower separated into different small closed spaces. Def. didn't like it. Small details were disregarded, like some of the towels were not replaced every day, soap and shampoo in dispensers rather than little chic bottles, lack of body lotion, shower caps and other stuff expected from a 5 star hotel, not enough shampoo in the dispensers, electricity adapters missing, etc. The hotel is pretty and well kept, but the value for money is quite mediocre.

1. The walls and doors are too thin. I heard everyone walk by the room and couldn't sleep well on several nights. 2. They didn't restock the toiletries and sometimes forgot to restock towels. 3. It was expensive for me, since I was paying for two room for a total of 4 adults. I wish there were better deals, we would've stayed longer.

Our room was on the 6th floor with a view over the London skyline taking in the Colosseum, Westminster Abbey, Charing Cross station, London Eye. As it was my partner's birthday treat, we were delighted with the chilled bottle of Prosecco, cake and congratulations note found in the room. We walked everywhere from the hotel, the location was so central, and close to underground stations too. Breakfast was buffet style, well stocked, fresh and imaginative. Avocado toasts, fresh fruit, choice of yoghurts, artisan breads, warm frittatas, scrambled eggs, bacon, smoked salmon - spoilt for choice! Fresh orange juice and good coffee hit the spot!

This is an absolutely fantastic hotel. Given its superb central location it is incredibly good value. The rooms are all bright and immaculate, with a bit of fun with the lighting. The breakfast was superb and the hidden bar an absolute gem of a destination for a cocktail or cheeky nightcap. But what makes it impossible to fault is the staff. All of them so friendly, courteous and helpful. From reception, to the restaurant to the bar to the lady doing the turndown, nothing but smiles and warm welcomes. This will be the only hotel we will ever pay for when staying in London. Thank you!

Excellent location! Very clean! All employees were very helpful and gentle! The manager was exceptional in her attitude and she demonstrated great customer service even if we did not change room, as we have requested! It was our decision even if the Manager found a solution!

The room was booked via booking and it was non refundable. There was no mentioning about the peculiarity of the room i.e entering the room, on the left there was the bathroom/toilet but there was no door to separate the toilet from the corridor. It was an open space and at the end of the corridor was the room and there was the door. Even if the Manager gave us a solution, we said that they need to mention that in the booking or to put a door(which is not so difficult) and it is not an architectural or internal design decision to have a toilet without a door!

The location was great, close to Covent Garden, Soho and all important tube lines. Tons of restaurants nearby as well. The rooms were quite big, especially for a hotel in the center of London and the bed was one of the most comfortable ones we ever slept in. That being said, the hotel didn’t feel like 5 stars. There is this little extra missing that you usually get in 5 star hotels. The staff was mostly friendly but not more. No one went the extra mile. Didn’t feel like a home away from home.

The bathroom didn’t have a door, and the door of the toilet cabin kept opening all the time and didn’t stay closed. Some parts of the hotel look old and need an update, like the elevator. Sometimes it smelled badly in the corridors. Breakfast was boring, not many choices at the buffet, took often quite a long time to refill and there wasn’t much on the a la carte menu either. Also waiters commenting on your choices (as in: rolling eyes and saying “Interesting”) didn’t seem professional.

My only quip with this stay was the breakfast I felt there could have been more fresh fruit and choice on the buffet. Apple and melon was the choices not very exciting and there . were only two pastries to choose from You pay £25 if you book 24 hrs ahead and you get continental plus one thing from hot menu . Good choice on the hot menu but i wasnt that hungry so asked for a fresh juice from the list. Was told that was extra . I agreed and then a bottle of pre squuezed shop bought juice was put on table no glass no ice £7 plus a 94p service charge which was absolutely ridiculous so my £25 breakfaat became almost £33 for 1 cappucino I shop bought juice Two slices toast with cheese Greek yoghurt and melon So disappointed but overall everything was great

Location, location, location. I was greeted by a very friendly employee who showed me my room and continued to greet me warmly throughout my stay, which added to my sense of comfort and place. My room was nice and big with lots of light. The overall appearance was modern, clean, spacious and very comfortable.

The women's bathroom on the ground floor was too dark. I could barely see anything and I found it spooky. It also seemed an out-of-place decoration style as the rest of the hotel is so wonderfully light, clean and fresh looking.
