This was the second time we stayed at the Why hotel, and it was as nice as the first time. The staff is very welcoming and extremely professional, the room was clean with all the necessities. Bonus: free minibar, nice touch. I forgot again that deluxe in this hotel is a standard room so the room was small but enough for two. The breakfast buffet is unbelievable, so much choice, and again, the staff was immediately there to help with a smile. Why has a parking, so no hassle with the car, another bonus point. And it's at 2m from the hotel! The hotel is also very well situated, at a short distance from the Grand Place and Vieux Lille. Overall, perfect stay.

The room had a view on the street so lots of noise, but that can't be helped by the hotel.

The location is quite convenient, relatively close to all the places we had on our to do list, easy and straightforward check-in and check-out, sufficient room size, toiletries from l'Occitane was a bonus point.

Our main discomfort was caused by the smell in the room, most probably coming from the old pipes/sewage. I don't know if it's a general problem or we just got bad luck with that specific room. If you're turning off the AC during the night, the room is getting hot so fast, quite difficult to regulate an optimal room temperature. The noise outside can cause some problems to light-sleepers.

Small, cozy hotel in the centre of Lille. The staff were all extremely kind and competent. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. There was 24/7 reception, room service, a breakfast buffet out of this world and the staff is very eager to help and get you anything you want. Very nice touch: the minibar was free. The mattrass and pillow case were excellent, and the hotel is calm. There are 6 floors but you don't hear anything when you're in your room. Everything was in walking distance, the grand place, the Christmas market, cathedral etc.. It's situated in a good part of town with a garage. 18 euros/day wich is reasonable given the price on the streets and you have the safety of a closed garage. All in all we'll certainly come back here.

Nothing, but just an observation: I asked for a deluxe room, thinking it was above a standard room as in many other hotels. But here, the deluxe is a standard room, so smaller than I thought. Just enough space for the two of us. Just be warned, if you want some more space, upgrade!

Everything about our stay was exceptional. The level of service was outstanding, with the team being the most efficient and effective we have ever encountered in the hotel business. They were incredibly helpful, pleasant, and went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The hotel's condition was excellent, and its location was perfect—centrally situated and within walking distance of everything. Parking was readily available, accessible, and conveniently nearby.

The price was a bit high, but we received numerous complimentary perks that made the cost more justifiable.

The room was very clean and everything you might need was present. The minibar was filled with snacks and drinks, free of charge. The receptionist was very friendly and explained everything very well in English.

My room was next to the street and there was a lot of noise, so for light sleepers I would recommend bringing earplugs if you know which room you'll be staying at. My stay was on a busy saturday evening, so your experience might be different on weekdays.

We were greeted by the warm and welcoming staff who made us feel right at home (and the cookies/lemonade were a nice arrival treat). Their friendliness and helpfulness truly stood out throughout my stay. One of the highlights of my experience was the ease of parking. Finding parking can often be a hassle, but not here. The hotel provided convenient parking options, which was greatly appreciated and madeo our visit even more enjoyable travelling with two young children and a baby. The hotel's location is another major plus point. Situated close to central Lille, it was just a short stroll away from the main square and all the bustling attractions. Being able to explore the city on foot made our stay even more memorable. Although I encountered a minor issue with the room's ventilation, the staff swiftly addressed it, demonstrating their commitment to ensuring a comfortable stay for guests. Their prompt response and efficient handling of the situation further exemplified their dedication to customer satisfaction. Overall, I would highly recommend Hotel Lille to anyone visiting the area. With its great staff, convenient parking, and prime location, it's the perfect choice for both leisure and business travelers alike. I'm already looking forward to my next stay and eagerly anticipate another fantastic experience.

Staff is great! Although they somehow transferred by mistake our backpacks, which were left after check out in the luggage room, to another location in Lille, they admitted the error and did all efforts to bring back the items and they also drove us to train station to ketch the train. Room was comfortable and clean, with all facilities you need. Breakfast was good.

The staff at the front desk were really helpful. we didnt include breakfast because there are so many places to eat locally. The room included a free mini bar with soft drinks which was great . if you are staying for 2 nights or more you can opt not to have your towels changed or your room cleaned but they do make your bed. You get 2 free drinks at the bar ! excellent idea .

The room was lovely and accommodating. Staff were very helpful and met our needs quickly and professionally. This stay was not planned (our train through to Bruges was cancelled and we needed someplace to stay last minute).

There were some things left in the room meant for another guest (not us), with his name on a card from the hotel and some gift items that had been given to him, which he left behind. Food options for a lite supper were disappointing, we ate elsewhere.

This was the third time we came to the Western, and we're still very happy with our choice.

The minibar had only a bottle of vittel in it, to make the hotel "greener". It's true, last time there were two plastic bottles of flat water and a bottle of san pellegrino, and chips. To change all that for a bottle of vittel is pooor in my opinion.
