Gorgeous breakfast, room got upgraded by the reception as it was my wife's birthday surprise ! Central Lille, perfect for exploring the old town, 10 minutes walk from the Euro station. Asked reception for advice on restaurants, & then tried four of their suggestions..all fantastic!

Mosquitoes got into the room because we opened the window instead of using the air con the first night...and both got bitten to pieces!! Lesson learned, so window shut & air con for 2nd night .

Ideal location to visit Lille. Easy reach (walking distance) from Euro Lille (Eurostar station) and literally on top of the Christmas markets square. Lovely cheese spread for breakfast.

This was not an issue for me but people with scarce mobility may find it difficult to navigate this hotel, as it develops on several floors of steep stairs and no lift. The mattress is too soft for my taste. At night there was a strange buzzing noise, like a vibrating phone which carried on till the morning - not sure if it came from the hotel or outside, but if you have light sleep it may be very annoying.

All the staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was perfect. Good view over the city. Comfortable bed, clean and tidy rooms. Good breakfast each day. Housekeeping came in each day and freshened the room up. Heater in the room warmed it up nicely and kept it at a constant.

My only niggle was that the shower head needed de-scaling and the hair dryer didn't work. But neither impacted us greatly. Shower worked well otherwise and the hair dryer was no loss.

The location was fantastic, central to everything in Lille that I wanted to see. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The bed was really comfortable.

The room had a coffee machine which was great but unfortunately the pods were not replenished during my three-night stay. I think it'd be good if some noise-reduction around common guest areas would be implemented - other guests coming and going and slamming their doors and having conversations right outside my door was a little disruptive at times. Otherwise, great stay!

The staff was warm, kind, and very very competent. They provided us with additional information and even offered us a larger room at same rate (on the base of availabity of course). The whole structure was functional and very clean; the reception is 24/24. The hotel is close to the city center, a bus and metro stop as well as the major attractions; there's plenty of bars, restaurants, shops of all kinds, including a huge mall just around the corner. Really recommended for both work trips and cultural holidays!

Room booked was a superior double but it was very small and had next to no space around the bed. In addition, the bathroom door did not close because the vanity unit blocked the way. Therefore, no bathroom privacy! However, everything else about the hotel was excellent and the staff really helpful and friendly.

Room size - we booked a superior double and had upgraded from the cosy double! Therefore, I dread to imagine the size of the cosy double room!

The location is great, right in the city centre of Lille. Another highlight is the kindness of staff, we really felt welcomed! Breakfast was very nice, not a huge choice but filled with local products which is highly appreciated.

We really had a good time, I have nothing to complain about. If I really have to mention something, the rooms would benefit some small renovations to give it a fresher look.

We were very tired but knew that it was an hour until check-in when we made our way to the hotel. The receptionist was so welcoming and offered us cold water in the seating area. Most appreciated. A map of the Lille was produced for us and we were told about how we could make a coffee or tea in the adjoining room. A great start to a very enjoyable stay.

Location is absolutely superb. Parking in city centre very welcome (must pre-book). Staff were excellent and helpful. Room was very clean. this is a quirky hotel ideal for a short weekend break - would visit again.

Toilet squeezed under sink (not joking) made it difficult to use and extreme accuracy an essential requirement. Bathroom sink cracked a long time ago and left damaged. Shower tray damaged same as sink. Window blind fell down. Breakfast area is tiny, people standing up eating Brekkie as layout chaotic and unusable. standard of breakfast itself poor, although probably worth the 10 Euro surcharge. If it wasn’t for the superb location and car parking I’d probably advise looking elsewhere tbh. However, those two attributes make it well worth accepting the foibles.
