We had a great stay at Brit Hotel Lille. The rooms were nice and clean, though a bit small. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect, as the hotel was next to the metro stop 'Gambetta' and within 3 minutes you could be in the centre of Lille. The parking garage near the hotel was also very useful and you can contact the hotel before you arrive so they can give you the code. The price/quality ratio was very good. We booked adjacent rooms, but instead we got two rooms on the same floor and that was perfectly fine.

We slept very well, the shutters and air conditioning ensured that our room was cool and dark. The breakfast was fantastic, very good quality and unlimited hot and cold buffet. The staff were very friendly, even though we couldn't speak any French. The wheelchair accessible room was very good with a wet room and lots of space.

There were quite a few homeless people who approached us, albeit in a non-threatening way.

The hotel and our room were very clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating ie. we didn’t book breakfast but we were able to show up and have breakfast and pay for it afterwards. The breakfast was great, had everything you would want. Hot and cold, buffet style so could eat as much as you wanted for €10, great value! The hotel was right next to the metro (line 1) so it was easy to commute around the city. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will almost certainly stay here again if ever we were in Lille again. Keep up the great work!

Perhaps a kettle with tea/coffee would have been nice in the room although it didn’t bother us that it wasn’t there.

Rooms are good and comfortable, the shower was really great and the window did a very good job keeping the outside noise to a minimum. Also, staff was very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was excellent! I found it to be strategically located due to being walking distance to the University and right in front of the Gambetta station, so it worked wonders! thanks Brit Hotel (:

This is exactly what it says on the tin - a decent budget option. The area didn't feel the best but the hotel is right by the metro so it's straight in and out. It's a fair way to the centre if you're walking but goes past some nice landmarks. Breakfast was fine. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was small but it did the job and you can't complain too much at that price!

If your room is on the same side as the metro then the noise of the escalators is a bit annoying. I was on the 5th floor and still heard them clearly.

Receptionist was very helpful and patient as we did not speak French and had never been to Lille before. The breakfast was excellent.

Nothing major.The location was a little further from the Euralille station than we had expected.Rooms were fine for an overnight stop with a good shower and comfortable bed.

Unfortunately there was no parking available at the hotel, and booking.com had not made it clear that pre-booking was required. Not a fault of the hotel.

It was clean, the staff were friendly, and it was very accessible. As someone travelling from Canada, I committed the sin of forgetting my European adapter. So, I have strong appreciation for the rooms being equipped with USB ports. And, the hotel is a stone's throw away from a supermarket.

The signage on the building. It has gaudy signage indicating, "Best Hotel" and a very discreet, easy to miss sign with its actual name. The hotel is steps from the Metro, but I initially found it hard to locate because I was looking for the sign that read, "Brit Hotel".

Very nice people, very helpful. The garage is very convenient and the hotel is surrounded by a vivid atmosphere of shops and restaurants. The room was very clean, convenient, very confortable

Parking is a little bit difficult to find at night under the rain. But it is quiet, safe and very close to the hotel.

Good value, interesting location and reception told us about a great bar. Garage parking undercover, great for motorcycles..

If you leave the room at night, just wearing boxers for example and go down to reception in the lift you can't get upstairs again due to security measures, this meant my friend spent 6 hours in the lift😆😆. To be honest this was the best thing that happened on tour. I put it here though as the 4 girls that found him were very shocked🤣🤣🤣
