The hotel is easy to find and is very close to all kinds of local transportation. The staff was friendly and helpful when I arrived. I had got my room upgraded which was a very nice surprise after a long day of travels! (: Had everything I needed. AC, tv, kitchen was easy but convenient. Lots of storage if you wanna unpack. Had a lot of room to move around on. Relatively quiet. Had everything I needed. Didn't try the breakfast however since I prefer a slow morning in the room. They offer free luggage storage before check-in and after check-out.

I honestly can't think of something, maybe some more decorations to make it feel more cozy?. But I'm well pleased with my room!

Place was great and very convenient to shopping and sightseeing. There is a great little market just a few meters from the hotel, and a boulangrie two doors down that had good pizza, and pastries. It was a short walk to a larger market, 'Franprix' or a few more blocks to a large Aldi., which had stuff like extension cords. I was able to walk to the train station (until I hurt my foot) and all along the waterfront, where, I am ashamed to admit, but there is a Five Guys Burgers place, from the USA, and I decided to try it because I never went there before in Seattle. btw, it was actually really good, tasted like I would make at home. I don't eat burgers normally because I don't keep all the good stuff around and the other chains taste like crap. When I go back to Marseille again I will definitely stay at Appart'city

The bed was the only problem for me, since beds are VERY subjective for everyone. I sleep on one of those comfort foam matresses at home, and Appart'city's bed was more like a futon, pretty firm, and I have friends in Seattle that swear by their futons... I think when I go back I may take a foam mattress topper with me, or possibly ask if they have any softer beds. I doubt that though, because hotels usually put the same furnishings in every room. I don't consider this a complaint, as I loved the property.

Spacious rooms, so clean and comfortable. Safe property with gates to lock you in at night and 24 hour receptions is great. Only a 10 minute walk to the sea and busy areas!

The neighbourhood is quite run down and very different to Marseille city centre. This is not the fault of the property just the location itself! Not really suitable for young women travelling in small groups or alone especially at night. Be mindful.

Comfy bed and good location ,friendly accomodating staff eager to help when needed ( my electricity went out during the night and a staff member quickly aided me)

Lift was broken on my check out day making it awkward to carry down my large suitcase from the 5th floor. No aircon in my room just a fan, I initially thought it would be OK but the night was far too hot with just a fan.

The staff was really helpful and nice, the breakfast was tasty but I would love the place to add some vegetables to the menu. I recommend this place to fellow travellers. Our room was nice and clean as well.

The location was not so bad but could be better. It's just close to the immigrants area and the streets are dirty. Otherwise its well connected to other parts of the city. Metro, bus and tram stops are really close.

The location was great & staff were really friendly

We asked three times for our sheets to be changed & fresh towels but no one came (housekeepers said they did but no one did). A lovely lady on reception helped us out though and provided fresh towels for us to take up ourselves.

The bed is big and comfortable and the bathroom is ok. The location is a bit far from the city center, but you can go by foot anyways. Breakfast is good and you can leave your lugage in a storing room before taking or after leaving the room.

The morning receptionist isn't too kind, but rude neither.

It was like a studio, not just a room like some hotels.

I couldn't use the parking, the hight wasn't mentioned, I had a roof box. Extra tax, & they didn't mention also payment for parking. Until you get there.

The room was a good size with a small kitchen area and a good sized bathroom. I arrived 2 hours before check in time but the reception staff allowed me to check in early which was nice. The location is okay as long as you are aware that you will need to take a train or bus to go to the tourist areas near the vieux port. The hotel and the area was quiet for the 2 nights that I was there. I stayed in this location because I have been to Marseille a few times in the past so I felt that I didn't really need to be close to the tourist attractions. Overall I enjoyed my stay in this hotel and I would not have any problem in booking it again the next time that I visit Marseille.

The plumbing for the toilet is a bit dated. It takes almost 10 minutes! to refill the cistern after the toilet has been flushed which does not help in maintaining the cleanliness of the toilet when the room is occupied. Also the hotel gate is locked at 9pm so you have to buzz the reception to let you in if you arrive back at the hotel after 9pm. The receptionist said it would not be a problem and I did not stay out beyond 9pm to experience coming back to a locked gate, but I personally think that 9pm is quite early. It would probably help if they had an electronic card lock for the front gate and included access for the gate with the key cards for the rooms that are given to guests.
