Amazing location and authentic French apartment living, very quiet and close to the boulevard.

It is a share house and there are no locks on your bedroom door, as a solo female traveller, you have to trust that your fellow guests are good people. This is not for everyone.

My second visit here - so what’s not too like ❤️

The owner is very nice, likes to keep the place clean and organised and if you follow a few simple rules like removing hair from the drain after a shower or pre-washing dishes before putting them to the dishwasher you'll be fine. My room was cosy and despite sharing the apartment with several other people it wasn't loud at all.

Be mindful that you're sharing the space with a few strangers (in other rooms) and the door to your individual room has no lock on it, so there's no way to secure your possessions. You're also not allowed to use the stovetop or oven in the kitchen which can be limiting so be mindful of that.

I had a wonderful stay at Neko's place. She was incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The apartment has a beautifully authentic French design, with attention to every little detail. The mix of vintage and modern furniture is perfectly balanced, creating a charming and comfortable atmosphere. I slept very well in the cozy king-size bed. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable stay.

The apartment is located on the fourth floor of a building without an elevator. Fortunately, I was traveling light, so taking the stairs wasn't an issue. However, for those with heavy luggage, climbing to the fourth floor—especially in a building with high ceilings—might be a bit challenging.

Choosing Niko's apartment has immensely added to the experience of my trip to Nice. First of all, Niko: cool, warm and genuine - a real gem of a hostess. The apartment is beautiful, full of quirky details and has a bohemian, chill atmosphere of a place full of stories that must have seen some amazing parties in the past. That being said, my room was huge, with a beautiful terrace and comfortable bed. Shared bathroom was a bit of a concern in advance, but not a bit of a problem in reality: the apartment is spacious enough that I practically didn't see or hear other guests. Throughout my stay, I was feeling very relaxed, cosy and safe and was looking forward to having a morning coffee in my room and coming back to it at night. It would be also unjust not to mention the perfect location - close to everything and so easily accessed from the airport.

Look, if you want crisp, sharp and sterile, this is not for you. But if you are after an authentic experience, by all means, this is the place. Personally, I didn't like it- I loved it and would be happy to stay at Niko's again in the future.

Great find! Owner Niko was a great and friendly host. The decor in the apartment is so beautiful and creative. Rooms were bright and very clean, beds were a bit hard for me but comfy enough. The area felt perfectly safe and is in a great location a short walk from Nice Old Town and the train station. Would definitely recommend!

Not a problem for me but things to note - the owner (Niko) lives in the apartment and there are 3 guest rooms. The rooms don’t have locks but Niko reassured me she is usually home to insure safety and it all felt safe to me. Also there is only one bathroom and a separate toilet so sometimes had to wait if everyone was home.

Superb location just 2 minutes walk from a tram station, hence direct connectivity from airport. Beach and old town is around 10 minutes walk. The room is very simple and quiet. Since the building is old, you’ll get the feel of the city while you’re there. Good views from the balcony. The host Niko is one gem of a person. If not for anything else, you should definitely stay to interact with her. Amazed to know her life experiences, knowledge of 6-7 different languages and warmth in her personality. Please note that since you’ll be living in a room in someone’s home, some basic etiquettes are expected.

The apartment is located on 4th floor, so reconsider in case you have big suitcases and mind carrying them up 4 floors. For a bag-packer like me, it was no issue.

The host Neko was so kind and thoughtful. She made sure I was settled in and comfortable. The room is very spacious and clean. The apartment is very conveniently located, and it was so easy to get to.

I stayed here with my son, and initially we were a bit apprehensive about the arrangement wondering what we had got ourselves booked into. It turned out to be just perfect. Neko is a wonderful host, and manages the apartment well. We had no trouble with sharing the facilities, each guest does the right thing by each other. The apartment is in a lovely area, close to shops, transport, old Nice and the waterfront. Thank you Neko for making our stay one to remember.

You do need to climb stairs to the fourth floor with suitcases, there is no lift. Washing machine not included, but can be arranged.
