Excellent location, tram from airport stops right outside the hotel ( and this route continues right into central Nice and the Port area). Hotel is one road back from the sea front promenade .Room was clean. Breakfast was great value for money, but if you want a lie in there are also bars close by where you can eat. Also they have the option to leave your luggage at the hotel should you arrive before check in time, or if you have a late flight home, found this very useful.

The lift. It wouldn't stop at our floor, so we just decided to use the stairs instead .

We got better room that I booked and payed for. The boy at the reception was very kind, and gave all informations. I've asked for an extra duvet, and there were no additional costs. We could left our luggage there after checking out, it was free. The tram was near the hotel, and there were ood bakeries nearby, and Lidl two train stops further. The seashore just 2 minutes.

There was only one chair at the table, but there were two of us. There is no hairdryer in the bathroom. I didn't ask for it, beacause the weather was good, my hair dried fast.

Friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Clean and modern. Tram right outside that takes you to the centre and the other way to the airport. 1 minute walk to the beach.

excellent location, one short block from the sea. We could walk the boardwalk all the way to the old city which was fabulous. The hotel is modest but very clean and quite modern looking and attractive. The room is large enough and had 2 beds as requested. It is a budget hotel so there are no extra amenities such as coffee machine, safe, etc. But the beds were comfortable, a small but good washroom with only a shower. Our room was in a corner spot, so the internet was a bit weak and we had to go near the door to get connected. Their breakfast cost about 6 euros but was a convenient buffet for a good start to the day. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

The location was excellent approximately half way between the airport and the centre of Nice. 1 street back from the sea. The room was functional, bathroom was really good. Used as a base for sightseeing. Approx 35 mins walk to the train station. Car parking facilities opposite the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. €65 per night. Would definitely use again. Breakfast facilities looked good but did not really use them.

Cannot think of anything to improve. It was functional, friendly and brilliant location for us.

Conveniently located, right across a bakery, next to a pharmacy and a pizzeria, with tram stop right in front, so reaching both the city center and the airport was easy. Near the promenade. Bed was good, room was clean. Reception area has machines selling snacks and drinks, and beach stuff. Also a mini kids playing area. Surprisingly, WiFi was working fine both in the rooms and in the lobby. Staff were pleasant. All in all, I would stay there again.

I knew at the time of booking that the room would be minimalistic but some more hooks or basic shelves would have been appreciated, since one really does not have where to put stuff that one unpacks during the stay. Just basic shelves and hooks. Also, the window cannot be opened fully (it is secured). If the room is looking on the main street, it is VERY loud if one opens the window.

- Great location, directly at the tram stop with the tram connecting the airport and the city centre. - Friendly staff, easy check-in, good breakfast. - From the top floor we even had sea view! - The beach is 5 min away. Most importantly, when we asked about leaving our bags for half a day after check-out, the reception staff told us that we could use shower facilities (!) later in the day, free of charge (!!), and even gave us free towels (!!!). This is top-level service which made the travel back from Nice so much more comfortable.

The third bed was a little less comfortable than the main double bed, for obvious reasons, as it was foldable.

We stayed at the Ibis budget Nice California Lenval as I had been reading previous reviews and we needed a one night hotel whilst visiting Monaco. The hotel was in a very good position very close to the beach which is just across the road. We were on level 10 so had a lovely view of the sea The room was very clean and spacious for myself husband and daughter. The staff on reception were very friendly and offered lots of advice about were to visit in Nice. The beds were very comfortable. Nice sized bathroom too.

As far as budget hotel experiences go, this was pretty good! Location is excellent - 2 min walk to the beach’s and 1 minute to the tram which is extremely well connected to the centre of Nice. The AC in our first room didn’t work, so the staff kindly moved us to a room with working AC and it was much bigger. Staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. Beds very comfy. Bathroom was basic and had a slightly strange smell but not too bad.

If you are more than 2 people, book the family room. The double bed+pull out makes the room extremely small for 3 people and we would’ve found it very uncomfortable to spend more than one night in that room as it would be cramped.

The hotel is situated on the half way from airport to the city center. It is in the line of the tram No. 2 which is very frequent. We use buses for excursions to Cannes and Antibes (bus 620 departures at Park Phoenix - near the airport) and Monaco (bus 607 - station is near Port Lympia). Both bus station are on the route of tram No. 2. The English promenade is less than 100 m away from the hotel. We came after the midnight, but they leave us room card at the reception. The room is simply equipped, but it was everyday cleaned and towels were changed. The beds are comfortable. The room was quiet. The Wi-Fi was good. The breakfast was very good. The staff was kind.

There were not slippers neither air dryer.
