We took a Suite, it was beautiful and very spacious. Hotel is quite new. Location is quite but a bit far to walk from centre, about 20 minutes walk. The staff was excellent especially the older son in the reception. Speak good english and helps with recomendations. They let US take a shower and change cloths before our late night flight and we really are thank full for that. Very nice and friendly people, i recommend.

Breakfast should improve. And they myst have extra towels to give in case it is needed late at the evening because they were not replaced.

It was a good location. Not too far a walk to the old town and also had a supermarket about 5 minutes away. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, including a fridge and free tea, coffee and toiletries. It had a really good shower and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was simple but delicious. We will definitely stay here again when we go back to Tbilisi!

The smallest thing but I think the room could do with having teaspoons instead of wood stirrers. Everything else was perfect :)

We visited Tbilisi with our family for the first time. In my opinion, this place in the Avlabari district is a great choice. The hotel is conveniently located not far from both the airport and the train station. You can also easily reach any part of the city by metro, with the hotel being just a 10-15 minute walk from the nearest station. The staff speak English, Georgian, and Russian fluently. Our room was clean, well-maintained, and serviced daily. We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast each morning, with the hostess treating us to her homemade jam, which was amazing. The Trinity Cathedral is nearby, along with plenty of cafes and shops, and you can quickly walk down to the waterfront. I'd also like to give a special thanks to the receptionist who lent me a phone charger during our stay.

I would like to mention just one downside specifically about our room. It's located almost right by the entrance, which isn't very comfortable. However, we didn't encounter any issues such as noise disturbances. Therefore, I would really prefer not to lower my rating for this, as everything else was top-notch.

This place is amazing, friendly staff, healthy breakfast, peaceful place. And the internet is really good. I'll come back definitely.

Hotel DownTown Avlabari is a gem in the heart of Tbilisi. The proximity to Freedom Square, the Rustaveli Theatre, and the Georgian Opera and Ballet Theatre made exploring the city very convenient. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the free Wi-Fi was reliable throughout my stay. The garden and the shared lounge provided a nice place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the complimentary breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Tbilisi!

The room was huge with a balcony and the bathroom was beautifully decorated. Two bottles of water were supplied every day free of charge. Everything was very clean, spotless. Igor who was on reception every day is a lovely helpful person, nothing is a problem for him. It is a small family run hotel and everything and everyone made our stay special. I loved this little hotel. I felt like part of the family.

The walk back to the hotel is a very difficult one. It is up a very, very steep hill and the pavements are very bad for walking. I only did it once. There is a taxi app called Bolt which is brilliant. They come in minutes. It only cost £1.20 from the city centre to the hotel. This is what we used to get to and from the hotel, so the steep incline was not then a problem Therefore it would not put me off staying at this super friendly hotel.

Nice balcony with a good view if you look at the mountains (the city view isn’t so great). Big, good, comfortable bed. Big room with lots of open space. We didn’t feel squeezed. It was nice to have a fridge and a big bathroom/shower. The breakfast was basic, but good with lots of variety. Friendly and helpful staff. They were always ready to help with anything, give recommendations, and provided early breakfast or a to-go box when requested.

- Not a big issue, but the shower has a leak. - There was mold on the wall in the breakfast room downstairs. Not nice to look at while you’re eating. - The hotel advertises soundproof rooms, but the rooms are definitely not at all soundproofed. We could hear the other guests easily, every noise from outside, and someone stomping up and down the stairs several times a night. - The staff likes to smoke right by the entrance. It wasn’t nice to walk through the cigarette cloud and then cough all the way to the room.

Very large room, big comfortable bed, good hot shower, friendly staff. Couldn't have breakfast as they start fairly late (8:30am) and I had to leave for the airport. Location is good, in the back streets of Avlabari, but just a few blocks away from where the shopping streets are, and 10 minutes walk to the Avlabari metro station. Downtown/Liberty Square is 20-30 minutes walk away through Rike Park and across the peace bridge. An excellent hotel, recommended!

This is a gem tucked away in a quiet side street. The hotel was walking distance to the centre of Tbilisi but if one doesn’t feel like walking, Avlabari metro is only 5 mins walk away. The room was spacious and clean and the staff very helpful. Breakfast was perfect and varied and when we had an early morning tour Lia made us a delicious lunchbox. We loved her Georgian walnut stuffed eggs. We were touched by her kindness. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We will stay there when we visit Tbilisi again.

The hotel is beautiful, cozy and intimate. The staff is very friendly and willing to help.

We knew the hotel was about a 20-minute walk from the center, but we didn't consider how hilly Tbilisi is. Although the taxi fare was cheap enough, so it wasn't a major problem.
