Here is the lowdown on Margo Palace Hotel. I was a skeptic before going there since I read a lot of bad reviews in regards to this hotel. This hotel is a combination of bad and good rooms. If you end up in the newer renovated rooms, then you will have a positive review to write and enjoy your stay. If you end up in an older room, then you will be faced with all the bad reviews you see here on Booking.com. We had a good room and there were no smells, the room was clean, A/C was working just fine, the bathroom was clean and fully functional, towels and sheets were clean, and the staff was polite and helpful. Note: The rooms only get cleaned once every 3 days. We stayed for 6. We are clean people so we didn't ask for the room to be cleaned, but we did receive clean sheets and towels when requested. *** keep in mind that you will always be treated as you treat others. We were polite and respectful and in return the staff were polite and respectful. A little tip here and there and a few smiles will go a long way to improving your stay at any hotel in any country.

the staff was great and very helpful , specially Macko she helped us a lot and she is so kind , location is good and you can find many supermarkets and restaurants near by , it is highly recommended as best Value for money , also there are a shattaf on bathrooms for Arab tourists.

The room had great ac. We appreciated having a kettle in the room, as well as, wine glasses and coffee cups. It was a great location, with everything we needed within walking distance to the hotel.

The night before the gas was shut off, and my husband couldn't have a shower, that night, or the next day. We were told at checkout, that they were sorry, but Russia had cut off the gas, for 6 hours, in Tbilisi. We checked online, to confirm, and the staff at the hotel were correct. Also the room and a smell of stale cigarettes.

Room was much bigger than we expected, 100% worth the price. Great location, close to Rustaveli metro station and Liberty Square in walk distance. Hightly recommend this hotel for short or long stay.

Despite the listing saying that there was a 24/7 reception, when we arrived in the morning there was noone to talk to. When we called the mobilenumber written on the wall, we could hear it ring on the other side of the door, but the person simply hang it up without ever calling back. Similarly, at checkout it was quite challenging to find somebody to talk to.
