We love this hotel. We come to Baden-Baden 3-4 times a year and we either stay here or at another nearby hotel depending on the availability, but we love Aqua Aurelia. The staff is always so professional yet welcoming, and it has been that way for years, and we really appreciate it. The hotel is also extremely comfortable and clean, the housekeeping team does a great job. The breakfast buffet runs until late (11:30 at least during the weekend) and it’s great, with lots of yummy yet healthy choices. We also believe that the value for money is very good; you get to stay in an awesome location (perfect if you want to visit Caracalla but for visiting everything else is also top notch) in a very nice hotel, with a perfect staff to help you and with lots of nice extra touches (mini bar included, toiletries from Rituals, window blinds that actually leave your room dark and nice to sleep in, a great parking lot in front of the hotel in case the hotel’s one is full, etc). Perfect!

This is a wonderful place to stay to visit the Friedrichsbad and Caracella facilities. The room was spotless and high tech, with a lovely complementary minibar, including two bottles of wine. I recommend visiting the Friedrichsbad in the morning when you need to walk outside and then visiting Caracella in the evening when you can take the underground tunnel access. The front desk gives you a lovely tote bag with your spa towels. The robes are in the room. They have a deal to purchase three hours of Caracella access for the price of two. Three hours was perfect for the Caracella saunas. I stayed in the cheapest room and was very satisfied with the size and appointments. Breakfast was the best I've had of the buffets in Germany: many diverse offerings in the buffet and yummy thing made to order, including pancakes. Parking was available in the hotel when I arrived. If we hadn't been able to park at the hotel garage, the Badparkplatz is connected via the tunnel, so it wouldn't be far to go. We arrived at 1000 and went to Friedrichsbad while they made up our room. The room was ready by 1300, two hours before the 1500 checkout. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

The only drawback is that the outlets by the bed turn on and off with the switch to control the lights, so if you are expecting your phone to charge overnight, don't use the outlets by the beds. Or, perhaps figure out a way to make that work that i couldn't. There are plenty of other outlets that are not switched.

Huge suit like room. Comfy bed. Big toilet and nice shower even though a bit small. Coffee making machine in room. Wonder staff, excellent breakfast with wonderful varieties and choices. The Superb Carcalla thermal spa is literally linked to the hotel. 2 minutes walking to the beautiful city center of Baden-Baden.

The air conditioning and the safe deposit box were not working throught our stay and they were not able to fix them.

Great location if visiting the Spas, short walk to both. The rooms are very large. Mini-bar items are included in room cost, added cost if you want it refilled. There's not a lot in it, but it's a nice touch. Towel and bag they provide if you visit a spa is another nice touch.

The first room we were given smelled like someone smoked in it. They apologized and moved us to another room. The new room was an even bigger room, but at night, we realized the room only had sheer curtains covering its several large windows. At that point, we chose to just deal with it and not ask to change rooms yet again (believe our first room had the normal arrangement of sheer and blackout curtains). I'm guessing the issues with these two rooms were exceptions, so I still rated the hotel high.

The breakfast was very good and the rooms are nice and spacious.

We choose the hotel because it has air conditioning. But despite having spoken to the front desk several times the air conditioning didn’t seem to work, particularly during the night. We had 2 rooms with the same problem.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Perfect is all aspects one would expect for a hotel. The staff are top notch professionals, approachable, welcoming, friendly, and proficient. The location is central to everything and offers wonderful views. The room was well appointed, large and comfortable w/outside access. The food we ordered from room service was outstanding as well as the offered breakfast. We took advantage of the famous spa, located right behind the hotel, which the hotel offers a discounted package and provided a spa bag too. I've been to Baden Baden many times and this by far was my best overall hotel experience.

Beautiful hotel, excellent location, really helpful and friendly staff. Beds were small but comfy. Mini bar was free (1st fill only) - juice, 1 beer, small red/white wine, some nuts/chips, free water every day. Rituals shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion.

The only reason I didn't give this hotel a 10 was that the rooms aren't very soundproofed. The road noise is quite loud (even though the room we stayed in faced the spa. There were children in the room above who stomped up and down allll evening and then woke each morning around 5:45. The vibrations and noise was really bad. The windows were shaking. So we had zero chance of sleeping in. And - the corner bath is much smaller than it looks in the pictures.... But not much chance to enjoy it anyway with the stomping from above! Wouldn't recommend taking your kids to this hotel.

The most important item, the bed, was supremely comfortable. The deluxe suite was huge, even by suite standards. . It was very quiet and had a good view of the CaraCalla spa, which is only 3 mins walk away.

The light switches were dated and tricky to operate, and the sitting furniture ok but not very comfortable. Not very cosy or homely... fine for an overnight... and the excellent sleep/ bed makes up for it

The suite is very spacious and has everything we need. Mini bar and snacks to enjoy at night. Staff gave us Baden-Baden guest cards for discounts in the town. She also gave us a spa bag with towel etc for our spa visits. We are well taken care of. walking distance to the spa, restaurants and tourist attractions. The best thing is to have an underground parking, that has elevator straight to our suite. Easy loading and unloading for arrival and departure.

Modern suites with luxurious appointments. Such a pleasure to stay in spacious accommodation with a delightful outlook. Really happy, friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Always a sign of good leadership and support. Excellent breakfast with choice of inside or terrace seating. Central and convenient location with onsite parking.

Only one negative. The suite had an air conditioning vent in the living area but not the bedroom. The bedroom had a very effective automatic shutter but the living room had only very inadequate curtains that failed to keep out the morning sunlight, so the sliding doors to the bedroom needed to be closed, preventing the cool air entering and making sleeping uncomfortably hot. Either block out curtains in the living area or a extra vent in the bedroom is required.
