Wonderful, friendly staff. a combination of old-fashioned charm and modern (a key card, a/c). There is an elevator. Surprisingly comfortable bed, air condition (which is rare in the region), even a teakettle and refrigerator. TV works well. The best is the location close to the main buses including to the train station 2 minutes to Friedrichsbad, 4 minutes to the Caracalla Therme, very close to shopping and restaurants, a 10-minute stroll to the theater. Breakfast was included and was great for this price range, even included brand-name yogurt and smoked salmon. They make fresh coffee for each guest. This will be now become my first choice in Baden-Baden.

Be aware that there are steps leading to the lobby. They kindly helped me with the heavy luggage but for someone in a wheelchair that might be an issue. However there is a small elevator, so that's great for luggage. Also I was initially hesitant to book because the reception closes early and I thought it wouldn't be possible to arrive late in the evening. At the end I had a different schedule and arrived early in the day but I would have looked elsewhere for a late arrival. Apparently they are ways to retrieve the key after hours. I advise you to get in touch with them by email beforehand if you consider late arrival (but the hotel should really explain this possibility on the Website or people arriving late will just pass it over).

Very nice family hotel in the centre of Baden-Baden. The Caracalla baths are just 3 min walk as well as many shops and restaurants in the centre of town. Very spacious room, very clean with comfortable beds.

The parking is a bit confusing. As the hotel is in the centre of town there is obviously no parking at the hotel, but they provide you with opportunity to park at nearby (walking distance) public parking. We were confused, where to park, when we arrived, and circled couple of times around the centre. It would be useful to have explicit instruction/permission to park in front of the hotel for the duration of check in (we did not know we could do it without breaking city rules).

A very charming place, fits in with Baden-Baden really well. Lovely interiors and a nice environment overall. The breakfast experience is good. You are very close to everything you would want to see in Baden-Baden, including the Friedichbad and the casino (good tour, I would recommend). Good sights and walks. Some restaurants nearby very overpriced. Would recommend Gennisha and Hong for eating and also Chinese Lotus. Baden-Baden overall is an interesting experience, very much old tourism.

I was happy with all of my stay

The location was fantastic in the heart of Baden Baden and a 4 minute walk from the Roman Baths. The Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. We found the billiard room to a be a more comfortable and less hushed place to eat. After 9pm the doors are locked and the place is dark, however your room key also opens the front door which we thought was ingenious.

Parking was unavailable so we had to park up the street in a paid lot. The staff was very helpful but there was an language barrier for English speakers. The rooms had no ac but one of ours had a fan which kept it nicely cool.

An old hotel but very neat and clean, with spacious room and useful amenities like kettle, bottles water, bath gel, etc. It also have a lift which makes you feel so good after staying in many old hotels or apartments in Germany where you have to walk the stairs without a lift! Breakfast is also plentiful and delicious! Great location in the center with parking on site which is very convenient.

The towels are a bit old and chipped.

Nothing really. Just to advise driver that your car can be parked on the pavement in front of the hotel ( not the single road )for loading luggage. Car park is off site but just a short distance from the hotel. Room is quite hot if the temperature is high on the day.

Baden-Baden is a small walkable town and most hotels are well located. The reception and kitchen ladies are welcoming and helpful.

Thin walls, you will hear everything from other rooms when quiet. Men snoring, couples talking, everything. If your sleep is easily disturbed, just don’t chose this property. Beware that the train station is far from downtown and you will need a taxi (30€ fare) or the public buses to get in and out of town.

About 2 mins walk from the old town centre, with lots of great restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Very friendly and helpful staff with excellent English spoken. Secure underground parking for our motorycles (limited so best to book when you make your reservation). Lovely view from balcony if you have a room with one. Lift makes ustairs rooms easy to get to. Gorgeous old historic building.

Easy check in out of hours. Great location in the old town. Everything's just around the corner. The room was lovely and warm, big, comfortable bed, lovely pillows. The shower was perfect. Breakfast was very good too. It was lovely to stay in a homely, traditional hotel with character instead of the bland corporate chain hotels.

Room spacious and clean . Bathroom clean and compact with very good shower . Bed was comfortable with nice linens . A/C worked fine to combat heat . Location excellent for baths and shops . Immediately off bicycle trail . Very good secure & inside bicycle storage . Breakfast good with multiple hot and cold food choices .

Elevator was a bit cramped but certainly serviceable .
