The room, though small (a single bed with a bedside table, a table with a chair, a wardrobe, and a sturdy suitcase bench), was very clean. The bathroom was nice and clean as well. The ladies at the reception were lovely and very friendly. The location is convenient: while not super central, it only takes a short bus ride from the train station or the center. It is also a very good walking distance from the center.

I’d say the facilities are somewhat outdated (but still very neat and clean).

During our stay, the staff provided exceptional assistance to accommodate our needs. The hotel's prime location is a significant advantage, as it is conveniently situated near the bustling downtown shopping district. Additionally, the main Dusseldorf station is within an acceptable walking distance of approximately 20 minutes.

While the shower area was smaller than anticipated, it did not significantly impact our business trip experience.

A great location. An easy walk into the AltStadt and also accessible by tram. I also used a taxi late at night to return from the old Town, it cost 8.90 euros. I met four members of staff over the three days and all were very helpful. Breakfast was good and catered for my needs. I felt safe walking around the area at all times. Good value for money and I would certainly stay again.

The staff are very friendly and professional. Mrs. Belma Zotsmann and the rest went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. As a small hotel you don't find anything missing. The breakfast was great with eggs freshly made for you and also items added for us as muslims, and fresh fruit salad for made on the day. It's very close to the centre of Dusseldorf with shops and resturants in close proximity

the bathroom and toilet were a little small for large people like myself

Amazing team , very friendly very supportive , always helpfull , the team make you feel very very welcome, I will Visite this hotel again especially because of the nice treatment we received by everyone there , especially the Lady with long Black hair and the Lady with curly blond hair , the hotel itself is very clean and looked after .

A simple hotel with good value-for-money, friendly staff and a central location. (Also it had cool retro vibes that were not really retro but apparently well-kept authenticity from what looked like the 1970s/80s.)

The pillow was humongous and super high, so I couldn't sleep with my head on it without breaking my neck at a steep angle, but when I moved all the way to the end of the pillow, the bed was (of course) too short for me. One quarter the volume of that pillow would have been more than sufficient - or actually better.

The staff was lovely and helpful, we could get some cups of tea downstairs as there are no kettles in the room, central location, one could walk down the Rhine promenade and the old town. Our room was on the quieter side of the property and we slept well

Small room and bathroom

The most thing I loved about the hotel is the location; it's located near to the main streets where most of the attractions are, I didn't need to use any mean of transportation except to get to the nordpark which is quiet far. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will never forget the lady who offered us coffee upon our departure and gave us chocolate to have on the way home. The area was calm and quiet. And the WiFi works just fine.

All was good

Very well-kept, comfy, and cosy hotel with everything you need & very friendly staff, mid-way between the train-station and the old centre, in a good neighbourhood. The walk to the old centre is around 25 mins, through a bustling modern area which is also interesting to see. A part of that route got a bit deserted after dark, but that felt fine.

If the hotel is not very busy, the staff may not be present for check out until 12pm, so it's important to arrange that and leaving bags behind and picking them up after check-out beforehand. We were able to arrange this by chance, so I'd advise to agree on such timing on your arrival.

The family room is a very spacious and clean, 2 bedroom room on the ground floor, across a nice, small courtyard, in the back of the hotel (away from street noise). It was 30+ degrees outside but the room was quite cool, and they gave us a fan as well which really helped. Great location.

The shower was horrible as it was impossible to find the right temperature. And when you use the sink, the water spills all over the floor. And it would have been great to have a mini fridge.
