Eugen was very nice and very knowledgeable, explaining all the details, very patient and polite, coffee was very good, the breakfast room very clean. The room was medium size for Europe standard, furniture is old but in good condition. I really recommend this hotel!

Based on other reviews we didn't expect too much, so it was easy to exceed our expectations. 😅 The room was small with four beds and the bathroom in the first room (in the first floor) didn't flush properly, so we were promptly moved to another 4-person room in the 4th floor. We had a room with a bathtub and view to the street, but the room was quiet enough. The free morning coffee with chocolates was great. The area wasn't as "seedy" as some people made it sound. Sure, there was a modest sex shop next door and it's not the prettiest street in the area, but it's only few steps away from the city center and a short walking distance from the main railway station. We could definitely stay here again.

The toilet in the first bathroom didn't flush properly but we were promptly moved to another room after we told about it at the reception. It's the four people bedroom in the first floor -- I suspect its the same some others have mentioned.

The location was very good near the Hauptbahnhof train station where it was easy to access the nearby grocery stores, the shopping at the train station, and the various transport options. It was also easy to get to the Karlsplatz and the historical part of the city. Like many of the areas around main train stations in Germany, there are still some elements of a former red lights district in the area, but we didn't feel unsafe in any way. The room itself was clean with all of the things we needed. Beds were fairly comfortable; none of us had difficulty sleeping.

The elevator can only hold 2 people so half of us walked up the stairs to our room on the 4th floor. The Wifi is free but isn't very strong; we only had a good signal by our room door.

We booked a room for 3 people and got a room that had 4 single beds, which was nice and spacious. The room was clean and had everything you would expect. Beds are comfortable, more on the softer side. The location is really central and really easy to walk everywhere. The reception was nice and helpful, they allowed us to check in earlier. We had to leave very early the next day and did not have breakfast there, it is nice that they offered a to-go coffee or tea at check out.

The hotel is pretty old and there are some blemishes on the carpets/ floor. The walls are pretty thin, the next room had kids running around and we could hear them.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel! The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the old town, making it easy to explore the city's historic charm. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any requests. While the hotel and its facilities are a bit old, this was expected for the price and didn’t affect my stay. Everything was clean, and the WiFi worked well, which was a plus. Overall, a good value for the money, and I would stay here again!

The location is exceptional: just a quick walk from München Hbf and walking distance from many attractions in Munich such as Marienplatz, etc. In addition, the neighborhood is very lively, there's always people around (the hotel is next to a theater) and you can find many restaurants by the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they speak English well, so no worries for international travelers who don't speak German. Lastly, I found the "free morning haot beverage" policy very interesting and unique because you can basically go to the hotel's kitchen and make yourself a hot beverage (they provide various types of tea, coffee, cocoa powder) which compensates for the fact that the rooms are not facilitated for making the beverage inside. All in all, I think I received good value for my money and I had a satisfactory stay.

The rooms have handles on both sides, so it means if you forget to lock your door someone can easily enter. Luckily, the rooms are equipped with a safe where you can store your valuable items and lock it, not to mention how overall safe Germany is.

The hotel is very well connected, close to the city center and Central Station. No longer than a 10 minute walk. The staff were very lovely and helpful. We arrived before the check-in hour and they kindly let us leave our luggage in the reception desk until our room was ready. They also recommended us some places to visit and some restaurants to eat out and there were always some coffee and tea available for the clients during the morning. We booked a room for 4 and it was really big and comfortable. When we return to Munich this will be our first option.

Generally speaking there was nothing we disliked. Just to say something, we could hear the noise from the street at night. And the lift could only be used by 2 people at the same time.

The location of the hotel is just perfect. 5 minutes walk from the main station and 5-10 minutes walk to the historical center and main square (Marineplatz). Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very polite and responsive (the best staff I have ever seen). Free tea and coffee in the morning ))))))))))

the hotel does not provide breakfast but it is not a big problem, because there are a lot of places nearby to have a breakfast.

This old hotel with his history I guess, the price-quality ratio has proven itself. Very kind and helpful staff. The elderly man at the reception gave detailed instructions on entertainment in the city. And also helped with everything we needed.

The hotel room was little bit outdated. But this is compensated by its price. It was cold in the room but the staff brought us a heater and it’s helped. Another small minus is the lack of a kettle in the room.

The location is superb. Very near to central station. Very convenience. abundance of restaurants, supermarket nearby. Basically everything you need is just a walking distance. Near to old town too. Our room is a comfortable with four single bed which we found very comfortable. The heater is working good. Everything is exceptional good. The Gentleman at the front desk is very warm, polite, helpful and friendly. Thanks, we really enjoy our stay here.
