A recently renovated location in the heart of Chania, from which you have a perfect line of sight to the Minoan ruins of ancient Kydonia. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, well-equipped, comfortable, well heated and, if I'm being honest, the kind of place you'd take a spouse on a honeymoon. I loved it. Agave Suites does not serve breakfast, but I didn't consider that a problem. There's cafés nearby and, truth be told, you can have a perfectly Cretan breakfast if you go on any market nearby and get yourself some great cheeses (try and get some mizithra!), honey, yogurt and tea. There's a great laundry down the street, too. The host is fantastic, communicative and will gladly give you suggestions of worthwhile places nearby. Do take a minute to check the restaurants nearby, they all have a great view to the sea. If you're looking for a place near the Minoan ruins of Chania, there's no better location. And, like I said, a room here would not disappoint for a honeymoon; come here with your partner, forget your worries, and just enjoy each other's company.

No complaints, if I come back to Chania I'll go with my partner and try and book a room here again.

Everything was excellent from the initial communication, welcome, location, apartment, facilities, off street parking. Nikos is a savvy host who did more than enough to make our stay a great stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the location and closeness to all the highlights of old town Chania. Everything was in arm's reach - including restaurants, takeaways, cafes, grocery shop at end of street etc. The apartment is modern, clean , comfortable and great little deck for afternoon vino's and across the road from an archeological site, one of many around the streets of Chania. The cleaning is done daily . Thanks to our host for the nice complimentary bottle of wine. Highly recommend this apartment you will not be disappointed. Big thumbs up 👍

Was nothing to dislike

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Agave Suites in Chania! The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city, steps away from the charming Old Town and the stunning Venetian Harbor. It made exploring the local shops, restaurants, and historic sites so effortless. The suites themselves are beautifully designed, spacious, and impeccably clean, with modern amenities that made my stay incredibly comfortable. What truly sets Agave Suites apart is the staff—they were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcomed and cared for. We had the pleasure of staying at Agave Suites in Chania this past weekend, and it was nothing short of amazing!!! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and brand new — complete with a luxurious spa bath. What truly made our stay special though, was our host, Nicos. He went above and beyond in every possible way to make sure we had the best experience. He was always in contact with us, offering the best recommendations for brunch, restaurants, bars and things to do around Chania. His warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care made it feel like we had a local friend looking out for us throughout the trip. Agave Suites is not just a place to stay — it’s an experience. Thanks to Nicos and the beautiful setting, our holiday was stress-free, relaxing, and truly memorable. So if you’re still looking for a place to stay in Chania — stop looking. This is it. The host, Nikos, was just wonderful - so helpful with so many great tips for an amazing stay! The suite was very clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed, and so well located - everything you want or need within a 5 to 10 minute walk! Fabulous shopping and restaurants just around the corner - do take Nikos’ advice re local bars and restaurants - we ate and drank so well based on the advice he gave us! You will love Agave Suites - no hesitation in recommending a stay here - just book it!!

Courteous, kind host. Superb facilities including Coco Mat mattress and pillows. Wonderful large shower area with high quality shower. Funky interior decor. In an excellent location to explore both harbour and Old Town. The apartment was spotless. Great thought had been put into everything. In terms of hosting my host could not have been nicer or more attentive. I know Chania well but he gave me a list of excellent places for breakfast, dinner, cocktails. His communication with me was fast and clear. I must also mention that there are black out blinds behind lovely curtains. There are also excellent toiletries available. I highly recommend this lovely suite for a wonderful relaxing break in an excellent location within Chania.

Not a criticism but I would like a handle on both wardrobe and cover of fridge. as I have arthritis. d. These are suggestions only. I will definitely be returning to this beautiful suite.

The location is perfect, very quiet, even though very central within the area of the ancient fortress and acropolis. It is an elevated location with a nice view from the balcony over the neighbouring buildings and an excavation site, sunshine all afternoon. The bed is very comfortable, a bit soft for people with spine problems. Coffee and bath utensils etc. are perfect, but not for more than making a minimal breakfast. The interior is fancy, modern, by some designer, as it seems. Heating is very effective.

The room is relatively narrow due to the room separator with the fridge and the washbasin unit outside of shower and toilet. This is a bit inconvenient. Also, in winter, a chair or stool in the room would be nice to have, but on the small balcony we could sit at the table in the January evening sun and warm up

The host, Nikos, was active, energetic and very helpful. Right off the bat, as we arrived, he showed us around the room and sent us great recommendations for meals around the place. We were also given a bottle of wine as a welcome gift which was very thoughtful. The room was very spacious, and had all the amenities one could need. It was cleaned every day and the housekeeping staff maintained it well. The place is located very closed to Chania harbour and the old town is accessible by foot, making it a very comfortable place to stay at for tourists.

Outstanding and perfect location! We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and some delicious treats. The room was clean and had very nice, modern decor! Access to Netflix and other streaming services was also a big plus! The host was exceptionally helpful; he met us in person and took the time to explain how everything in the room worked, as well as which places we should visit in the area. He also texted us all the recommendations so we wouldn’t forget them. Huge bonus points for that! I would definitely choose this place again if I return to Chania!

Everything was perfect, but perhaps a little more space to hang wet clothes and towels from the beach would be nice

Everything was perfect from comfort to cleanliness and experience. There was hot water 24/7 the bath was full of space, the bed was extra confy. I even used the coffee machine and the small snacks (nuts and chocolate) for breakfast. I didn't even missed anything. Nicos was a great guy very polite and friendly, he recommended us some places in chania amd when we told him that we are visiting Rethymno he recommended us some places there also. Everything was great! If I'm visiting Chania I will stay at Agave Suites for sure! I recommend!!!
