Alex was a fantastic host, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect for visiting Chania central as walking is really the best option. We had a car for transit from the airport and visiting locations further afield which we were able to park at Casa Kasteli for a small additional fee. Our on-suite room was clean and comfortable with everything you could want available.

There was nothing not to like. Everything reached our expectations.

* Location It is located in the historical part of the city. Also it’s a stone's throw from the nightlife of the seafront. *Services Upon arrival Alexis (the manager) showed us the various services of the apartment and also offered us drinks. I stayed for 7 nights at this location and the staff is amazing. I went to the beach every day and every time I came back I found everything clean and tidy. In case you have any questions do not hesitate to ask the staff because they are very friendly an helpful. The bathroom is very big and has all the services you need. We didn't have a sea view but the view from the balcony over the city is very nice. Last, but not least, the location is equipped with parking which is truly a lifesaver during the summer months.

Sometimes in the evening you can hear noises from outside, but I think this is normal as you can't live in the city center without having noise. Also if you want you can close the windows and turn on the air conditioning (in this way you will not hear anything)

Very convenient location to walk to the heart of old town. Recommend parking at the hotel. Alex was a great host. He provided guidance on places to visit and was very helpful. He recommended Falasarna beach and it was phenomenal. We took a three hour boat cruise from the Falasarna port to Balos and Gramvousa vs having to spend a whole day on a large tour boat. Will definitely stay here again!

Alex, the owner, went above and beyond taking care of me when i went down with cold- he took me to the pharmacy, he was preparing heavenly hot herbal tea with honey for me, oranges, etc. We also liked how beautiful and sturdy Alex’s place is- high ceilings, marble floors, beautiful stairs. There is also parking on premisses, which was hugely convenient to have in the old town of Chania.

Absence of elevator: while I enjoyed going up and down the beautiful marble stairs (~20 steps), it was a challenge for my husband recovering from a broken foot. As to our moving our luggage up and down, it was not a problem whatsoever as Alex and his daughter Anna helped us with the task. Absence of a kettle in our room was somewhat inconvenient. Absence of breakfast was NOT a problem at all as there are many breakfast places around.

Perfect location, the room was cleaned every day, the staff was so friendly and helpful, comfortable bed and pillows, nice bathroom.

The only thing that bothered me was the A/C that was hitting right towards the bed despite the fact that I had adjusted the flap.

Excellent location, walking distance from harbour and old town. Clean and spacious room. Quiet street, room well airconditioned. Very friendly and helpful proprietor.

There are stairs to most of the rooms. Would not be suitable to someone with mobility problems.

Lovely balcony (and it had a clothesline to dry off our beach towels etc!) The building has a lot of character and the location was superb. The host is so nice & kind, super helpful, and gave us great restaurant & sightseeing tips. If you have a car, they have private parking on site (available for a fee) which was a lifesaver for us.

Lovely room with spacious balcony. Very close to the harbour and just 10 mins walk to bus station. Alex the manager is very helpful.

Perfect location of property, as well as facilities. Host was very friendly, he gave us fantastic recommendations about beaches around Chania and traditional Greek restaurants. Hopefully we are coming back!

The location is the best thing about this place, you are basically in the center of the old town. Private Parking is available for €10/day which I recommend because it’s difficult to find a free spot any time of the day really. And above all the host is really friendly and helpful!!
