Great location for wondering through the Old Town. A short walk to the harbour whilst meandering through the beautiful old streets. Our room had a small private terrace which was a real bonus. The rooms/suites were cleaned every day which was so nice to come back to after a long day walking and exploring Chania. The bed was so comfy. Greg and everyone were so helpful and friendly at reception. Nothing was too much bother. Thank you, we will be back next year.

We (my boyfriend and I) stayed in J&G Suits for 1 week in July and could not have picked a more perfect hotel. The location was ideal, just minutes walk from the harbour on the most picturesque street. The room was beautifully designed and extremely clean. Bed was very comfortable. We were extremely thankful for the air conditioning which kept our room lovely and cool. The host Greg was very attentive, provided us with lots of useful information and even helped us book a day trip + rent a car. He really goes above and beyond for his guests. Nothing was too big of an ask. In term terms of food, our top 3 restaurants were Pallas (book the balcony seat for sunset), Tholos and Throumbi. We found Fresh Point Juice bar very good for breakfast/brunch.

From the excellent communication when booking the accommodation to entering the property, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. No request was too big for the lovely owners. They were always on hand if needed, and if you didn't, then you were undisturbed ( other than coming back to a clean tidy room every day). The apartment and building in itself was an exact reflection of what you see in the images when booking 'simple chic', I would describe it as. Also, to note, the bed was like a fluffy cloud. Even once checked out, the owners went beyond accommodating my needs. The location was superb, in the heart of Old Town it was quiet enough; A 5 min walk to the main street and only a 20 min walk to the local beach. Highly recommended <3

The deluxe apartment was beautiful and has a large private roof terrace that gets the sun in the mornings, which was amazing. Location was perfect and there's a lovely place a few doors down for breakfast. We didn't have trouble parking when returning from day trips to beaches and could easily walk into the heart of Chania old town in just a few minutes. Also, the host Greg was incredibly helpful upon arrival, recommending and helping to book activities like wine tasting for us.

Great room with lots of character and history but also modern touches. Very clean and comfortable and lots of thought into the amenities. Owner was fantastic and very helpful. Views are city views but lots of history. All the walking tours seemed to stop outside our place to talk about it's history and architecture.

Everything was good.

The room was spacious and well decorated. Love the light coming in. The location was perfect as it was close by to restaurants, bars and the port and nightlife but not so close that it was too loud. Nice restaurants located close.

The bathroom was a little small but all good for our 2 night stay. Being in the city and very close to other properties, there is some noise. A lot of stairs but it’s only a small place.

Absolutely everything from check-in in to check-out. Efficient, professional and friendly. I booked room 5 with terrace and it was exactly as the images depicted. All furnishings were of high quality, no unnecessary details, everything has it's use and it's place. The bed was super comfy. The rain shower was hard to leave. I really loved the terrace which gets the sun on a morning. Aircon is powerful and quiet. I choose these suites over and above all others I had researched, which was extensive due to their previous reviews and location. Did not disappoint, they are in a quiet area with narrow cobbled streets full of cretan character. There are two very good restaurants opposite, the Ginger Concept and the Turk in the Well which are both very good and popular. I will definitely stay here again, a haven of peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the centre but within easy walking distance of minutes. The icing on the cake was the amazing kindess and thoughtfulness of the staff as I stayed for my 50th as a solo traveller, they came to my room with a tray containing a bottle of prosecco, a strawberry tart, chocolates and a candle. Thank you so much, a very special touch. I left feeling like a valued guest.

Having to leave

Beautiful apartment in an excellent location in the old town of Chania. Many restaurants, shops and bars are within walking distance. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful and can give you valuable advice on many things. Due to the central location it can be a bit noisy in the evenings. A breakfast offer or an arrangement with nearby restaurants would be desirable to round off the value for money.

Beautifully presented one bedroom suite. Stunning decor, great air-conditioning, very clean, complementry water cooling in the fridge on arrival, tea/coffee facilities, extremely comfortable bed and its huge as is the sofa bed, gorgeous products for showering, hairdryer, right in the centre of exciting Chania, walking distance to port. Great location. Greg is the perfect host, at the end of the phone 24/7 yet left us to our own devices. Very helpful with any queries, a gentleman. Thank you.

Great hosts, very helpful, responsive and welcoming. Central location near the old harbour and the bustling streets. The room was overlooking a quiet side street, so it wasn’t noisy. Room was very spacious and clean well equipped with a coffee maker (refilled daily), etc. Comfortably renovated and in good taste.

Mostly everything was top. The cleaners could be a little bit more generous with replacing toilet paper, we ran out on our last day. The noise of water travels a little through the ceilings (it’s an older building). Hard to find parking near the hotel.
