The room was lovely the bed was a super king and extremely comfy Very close to the old town in Chania which was just what we wanted

We were on the ground floor I don't think there was much sound insulation between upstairs and us, very noisy footfall at times The check in was at another hotel although not too far away we were told that it was called Ellia Bettola but only Ellia was written on the sign it is a single door in between 2 shops so not the easiest to find at 11 pm at night! Access to our apartment was through a secluded square where there were several rough sleepers something to consider before booking

I liked how it was right in town, so it was easy to walk everywhere

I didn’t like how the entrance was in the back. I wouldn’t have to mind it if the back area was more safe looking. There was lots of construction and homeless people but they didn’t bother me. Just being a sole travel girl is was a little scary.

At arrival we were granted a free room upgrade for the 2 nights that we stayed. The receptionist was very friendly and, after providing some usefull info, she escorted us to the property (2min walk from checkin location). The room was big and comfortable, the balcony overlooks the city center but it's not in a noisy area. Free public parking is available in a nearby square.

The entrance of the property is in a back street and unfortunately for the property the area is not the cleanest (definitely not their fault)

Just a tip: to check in you have to go to the larger Elia hotel that is about a half block to the west of this location so if you roll your suitcase to this boutique hotel you will have to backtrack and go down some granite steps to the west and walk further into the old town to check in. We didn't see that on the description or confirmation and luckily the door was ajar and a maid was there who kind of signaled us where to go.

Great location. Only needed for 1 night at the end of my holiday prior to flying home. It was a perfect location near the bus station and the old town to explore

No reception at the property, whilst the walk isn’t far to where you check in/out (2 mins), with cases it was frustrating

Elia Kentron apartment is in the perfect location, in the heart of Chania close to everything. It was great that you couldn't hear anything from the streets while in the apartment. The staff were very helpful.

Right in the middle of the little pedestrian alleys in Chania, close to many shops, restaurants, and harbour. Specious room, very clean, good air conditioning.

Could hear a noise from nearby restaurants, which stopped close to midnight.

We didn’t like that it was never explain before hand that the main check in is in a different location. And was hard to find until we had called to find out.

Excellent location in the centre of Chania, 5 minutes from the old town. The room was immaculate and the bed was spacious and comfortable. The place looks recently renovated and is stylishly furnished. The breakfast was full of variety and delicious!

Very slow wi-fi connection. The jacuzzi in the superior room took a lot of time to set up and not all functions were usable.

Great hotel in the heart of the old town, Chania. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Recommend this hotel. It’s clean, it’s safe and fits the bill to make your stay comfortable. Hotel breakfast was also homely and delicious.
