I liked the location, which was walkable to everything on a pretty, narrow pedestrian street, the elevator for luggage, and especially the rooms on the higher floors as they had a birds eye view of the street below. I also loved the thick outer walls and the screen less windows set into them. I watched swallows fly in beautiful patterns and heard pigeons cooing. I could hear the church bells and singing sometimes from the nearby cathedral which I thought was lovely. The owner, Nikos, was helpful answering my questions. I stayed two weeks and hope to return soon.

This is not something I didn’t like. Just something it is useful to know: If you are in a lower room, you will overlook a beautiful open air restaurant that opens around 4pm I believe (I added a photo). People eat late in Crete. The tables and courtyard are very pretty to look at and for more quiet and privacy the rooms higher up might be better for some people.

The location was very convenient, very close to restaurants, shops, and all amenities. Bus station a short walk away. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean, with a nice balcony with seating outside. The aircon worked well and was easy to use. Appreciated having a smart TV in the room for downtime. We had an issue with the wifi not connecting in our room, but this was quickly resolved when we told reception. We had a very late check-in and I appreciate the hotel being flexible around this.

Not the fault of the hotel, but the nearby church bell sounded at 7am and again shortly afterwards on the last few days of our stay, which was really loud. Also, I'm not sure if the floor was slept by housekeeping, as it stayed sandy between cleanings.

The property is on a very quiet street in the middle of a busy city, however you can still get some noise until 11-12 bc there’s a restaurant across the street. The room I booked was very large, the bathroom was really nice as well. Very walkable.

The internet would stop working around 4pm every day I think bc it was somehow connected to the restaurant, so more people using it made it barely usable — which made it really difficult to work from the room. The housekeeper also would sometimes leave clean sheets on my bed but not make it which was kind of annoying to have to make your bed when it’s supposed to be done for you.

The hosts and staff were excellent - friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive to their guests. Whenever I emailed with questions, they replied very quickly. They arranged a taxi for us in no time when we were leaving, and recommended some great spots we enjoyed exploring and would love to return to. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spotless and nicely presented. The shower was brilliant!

Everything was great. The only thing I might have liked is a full-length mirror in the room, mainly so I could try on all the new dresses I bought in Chania. 😄

We had an amazing stay here! The hotel is absolutely beautiful - great location at the center of the Chania and therefore close to all major sites, restaurants, shops and the local bus terminal for trips. The interior is stunning with lovely decoration, just like you see on the pictures so that you immediately feel comfortable. A big plus was the balcony to relax, read and eat with a view on a beautiful neighboring restaurant. The bathroom looks nice, is clean and offers nice amenities like toiletries, body lotion and local olive oil soap. What’s also a big plus is a fridge and even plates, bowls, glasses and cutlery so that we could organize our own breakfast and eat on the balcony. And all that for a great price for the value you get. The staff was very helpful and kind, so welcoming and they also organized a smooth check-in after their reception hours. They also accommodated our wish for a different room with a lot of kindness. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back here.

The hotel is beautiful with great location at the Chania. I can easily go to many famous places from here. It’s close to all the local restaurants and shop but very quiet at night so i could sleep very well. The room is spacious, well-equipped, spotlessly clean, all the handles in the bathroom and toilet are completely shiny. In addition, the room also has a lovely balcony for relaxation. A big plus is the bedding is absolutely comfortable. They offer nice amenities like toiletries, body lotion and olive oil soap from a local brand. All that are for a good price for the value you get. The staffs are very kind, helpful and welcoming. They helped me to store my luggages and give a water bottle for free after my checkout. I couldn’t ask for more 😊😌

Nikos in the reception was fantastic, recommending places and helping sort any issue we had. The rooms are each different, rooms 23,25 are very nice. Location is at the heart of everything. What return again

If you choose the sleep in the old city, you should remember there is no close parking so you carry your suitcase in the streets and in high season there is no parking at all so you need to park at carffur which is about 20 euros per day. The only problem related to the hotel itself is that they have no place to store your close, only hangers.

Absolutely everything was perfect, from the location to the amenities, the room was perfectly decorated with such taste, and the employees were so kind !

Nothing, everything was actually really good! The proximity of the church and its ringing bells surprised us at first, but they ended up putting us in a good mood.

Super location in the Historic Old Town of Hania. Top level shops and restaurants literally out the door. The bathroom was newly renovated and of excellent workmanship and quality fixtures. We very much enjoyed sitting on the balcony over the square!

Email with lock box location and code for key should be sent at least a day or 2 before check-in. The Email literally posted to my phone as we were trying to enter the hotel at 10:45 at night. Note to hotel: travel and international telephone technology may create delays in "last minute" info transmission. We also had trouble (in the dark) of finding the entrance to the hotel - actual entrance is on the small side street, not the square, so we could have used a very simple location map in the email, since Google Maps kept telling us we were there, but did not specify the "side" entrance. All the adjacent tavernas on the square were closed, all signage was in the dark, so we were very lucky to find a late shopkeeper who pointed out the entrance location.

A well equipped and comfortable room (I think I got an upgrade) on the corner of the building with two balconies. Really comfortable bed. Good shower with plenty of hot water. Right in the centre but quiet too. Great value for money.

Because it was 1st January there were no staff on duty in the hotel, even for check-out the next day, but the access by key box worked fine and communication was clear and prompt.
