Front of house staff were very friendly and kindly booked us a fantastic airport transfer taxi when we checked out. Hotel sells cans of soft and alcoholic drinks in their fridge for very low prices (cans of ice tea, Fanta, etc, for only 1 euro each)! Room was cleaned very well every day and we were presented with fresh towels each time. We had the option of a 'do not disturb' sign too. Despite being close to the road and the beach, we were never disturbed by noise during the night.

Honestly no real complaints, really enjoyed my time here. *Be prepared for a 20ish minute walk to get to the centre of town/the port. But if you go via the coastline and not through the streets it will be very pleasant each time.

Close enough to the town and more importantly the town beach (3 mins walk) and restaurants at Nea Chora. Great value and quiet if you are in one of the back rooms. It's a perfect place to get your head down and/or shower. The a/c is quiet and the in-room fridge is most helpful. Rooms cleaned daily and the shapes made by housekeeping with the fresh towels will make you smile. Breakfast can be had locally. This is not a destination hotel but a convenient, friendly, clean and great value place to stay overnight. I have been going to this neighbourhood since 1966 as my Mother was from Nea Chora. This is a decent little cheap hotel if on a budget.

The Brits might like to take a travel kettle for a cuppa.

Location was great, just 15-20 minutes walking to the city center, away from the crowd. The hotel neighborhood is a quiet area, close to a nice beach and seafront. The hotel car park is in front of the entrance with plenty of spaces. The room was clean and pretty comfortable with a sunny balcony. The toilet was newly renovated. There is a good bakery and a supermarket at 5 minutes walking distance. The staff was nice and helpful. Good value for money.

No sockets on the side of one bed. No toiletries in the bathroom that could have been useful.

Very cosy and clean . All what you need . Small fridge on the room . Room with balcony set up with chairs and table . If you arrive before the room is ready for check in you can leave your baggage and start explore Chania . Staff very polite and helpful. If you need anything just ask the person on reception . They happy to help with everything. Every Thursday Laiki ( local street market ) where you can buy delicious fruits or vegetables. Homemade olive oil , oregano or olives . Location is just perfect . Few minute walk to nearest beach and front sea restaurant . Bus to other beaches 10 min walk . Bus station to Rethymno or Airport 15 min walk . Old town 15 min walk . Highly recommended . I would like to thank the Falassarna staff for the perfect holidays, for your kindness and helpfulness. It was a pleasure to stay at Falassarna again. Falassarna is located in a quiet part of Chania town. It is very close to the beach, restaurants and shops (Synka supermarket is within walking distance). It is also relatively close to the historic centre - about 15 min. of a picturesque walk along the sea shore. The place is just spotless. The room was being cleaned on request. To the cleaning ladies - thank you for the pieces of art made of towels left on beds❤️.

The location is 5 minutes away from the beach and extremely close to local restaurants and pastry shops. If you are looking for nearby supermarkets, there is a Synka nearby. The staff was especially friendly and the cleaning crew came in daily if requested (you can put a sign of "please make my room" or "do not disturb" on the door handle). Overall a great pick for a hotel in Chania.

A small suggestion or word of advice: the hotel does not provide plates or cutlery. But there is a Synka supermarket nearby and you can easily purchase wooden or plastic ones.

Although it was about a 15/20 minute walk to the harbour and the old town, the hotel was only a 3 minute walk to Nea Chora beach. Where there were plenty of restaurants which were a lot cheaper than the ones near the harbour and the old town. The food was inexpensive and very good value. The hotel room was very spacious with a lovely balcony. Very good value for money. Good air conditioning. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Every Thursday there is a market on the road in front of the hotel selling fruit,vegetables and clothes.

Please put instructions in the room as to how to get the air conditioning working. ie BOTH doors need to be firmly closed. Perhaps a notice offering the guest the option of not having their rooms cleaned everyday with towels and bed sheets being replaced. Need to save valuable water especially during the hotter months.

This hotel is spotless. The room was cleaned daily and I cannot count how many times the bed sheets and towels were changed. It seemed like daily and they were always arranged with care in a beautiful design. The room and bed were comfortable and met all my needs. The staff were so friendly, always with a welcome smile when I returned in the evening. And best of all it is literally a few meters from the Nea Chora beach and the waterfront restaurants up to the harbour. All in all, very good value for money, great location and a Cretan welcome that is priceless. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Fallasarna Hotel. Everything was great — the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help whenever needed. The rooms and common areas were always spotless, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing. I truly appreciated the warm hospitality and high level of service. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to return!

Very good location, close to the beach and the city center (15 mins on foot); close by there are shops and bakeries. There is a free of charge store where you can leave your luggage for the day of your departure. A very nice guy at the reception printed our boarding passes for us. Daily cleaning.

One minus side for me was that there was no warm water in the shower in the mornings & there were only a few parking spots available that belong to the hotel (but you can park on the main street). Everything else was great.
