This hotel has been a delight. The mostly female staff have been wonderful: helped book a 29€ (good value!) tour to Samaria Gorge, assisted with any issues, offered an incredible breakfast with traditional tarts and cakes every morning, and kept the facilities immaculate. Add to that the location with a small supermarket a minute away, sunset views over the sea, and the constant sound of waves. Yes it is a bit further away from the Old Town, but because of this also very relaxing. My tip: walk towards 'Chania Surf Club' - there's a sandy beach perfect for swimming and in May there were no surfers and just a few souls enjoying the peacefulness.

The hospitality of the staff and owners is amazing. We booked a single room by mistake and within 24hrs from the reservation, Rafaela confirmed we could stay 2 in a single room and paying a price difference. Upon arrival, she had managed to move us to a normal sized room for 2 for 4 nights out of 7 and the rest to a single room but with a bigger bed. I have to say, this was one of the best customer care experience with hotels. The hotel is very clean, staff is very helpful, they have a good breakfast. As positioning goes, the hotel has direct access to the sea right in front, restaurants nearby (5-10 min walk).

A bit pricey for our budget.

The location is perfect, set in a peaceful area, yet just a short walk to the town center. We loved the quiet surroundings and the beautiful little beach right in front of the hotel. Such a rare find! Breakfast was fantastic with a great variety of fresh options. Our room was stunning, with a 180° sea view that took our breath away every morning. The service was simply outstanding. The room was cleaned every single day, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. One of the highlights was the thoughtful touch of providing us with a lunch box instead of breakfast on the day we had an early excursion, it was just perfect. We truly believe we’ll come back here again. Highly recommended!

Here for our 50th Anniversary. The owners could not have been more gracious, kind, and committed to our celebration. From communication prior to arrival to just being so lovely to us during our stay, your hosts at Klinakis Beach are passionate about your comfort, your happiness and your best stay ever. Rafaela and Maria went above and beyond at every turn (also Nina). They are tireless in their pursuit of your satisfaction. In truth, the location and overall quality of the property would normally be enough for an amazing vacation but the quality of the personal touches is a 10 from us. Thank you all.

Great location, quiet spot but still very close to Neo Chora and short walk to other beaches. About 20 minutes walk to the centre of Chania too. Very friendly staff, who go out of their way to help everyone. Fantastic buffet breakfast every day . Updated bathrooms. Late check in was no problem after our flight was delayed. Use of shower and luggage store was very helpful too after we'd checked out. Amazing sea views and sunset views from the front of the hotel. Direct access to a quiet stretch of Neo Chora beach. Snacks and drinks available throughout the day at the Zen Lounge (part of the hotel). Liked everything about the hotel but especially the Klinakis family and all their lovely staff.

There's a looot to like about Hotel Klinakis. For example, the large variety of food for breakfast, the view from our balcony, the beach right in front of the hotel, the private parking area, the portable and free to take sun umbrellas, and the very kind hotel staff with information on bus stops and anything you might need.

The little sound proofing of the room considering that cleaning in the hallway and adjacent rooms started every day at around eight in the morning. It really woke us up every single day. Sometimes even as early as 6:30 AM when people left their rooms. Earplugs are a must if you are a light sleeper. Personally, we would not have needed four fresh towles in plastic wrapping every day. We appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel, but this was more than we would have needed or wanted.

Everything has far exceeded our expectations, it went above and beyond what we expected. The hotel is very close to the beach. Fabulous view of the sea from the balcony. Breakfast every morning was delicious, with plenty of variety. The staff were amazing, so friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. And the room was cleaned every day to a really high standard, we really appreciated that. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to visit Crete 10/10.

Very good location near Chania. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets. Beautiful view. Very nice hosts as well. Rooms are clean and bathroom is great. Air conditioning is working perfectly. Breakfast has a lot of variety: vegetables, tomatoes, cucumbers, fruits, but also eggs and meat, warm dishes, cheese, cakes, honey and jams… The beach is beautiful but there are big stones in the water, better to go to another beaches nearby, such as golden beach (<1 km) or Agya Marina (5km). Also a lot of place for parking. We had a pleasant stay in this place and we recommend

Some negatives parts of breakfast: Fruit juices are not that good, especially the fresh orange juice that is mixed with water… Coffee machine is also bad, the coffee served is soluble coffee which has a very bad taste. Better to order a Greek coffee in another place if you want to taste something good. Very small double bed.The singles beds are normal size. The mattresses are thin and difficult to sleep on.

It was our second time staying at the hotel, and once again, it deserves a perfect 10 points. Some parts of the hotel have been refurbished/upgraded, which made us like it even more this time The staff are very helpful. Rafaela (the owner) is amazing and attentive, and the same goes for her two sisters, both nice and friendly. The breakfast, served until 10 a.m. for those who don’t sleep in, offers a variety of fresh local products and baked goods Ευχαριστώ :)

I had a single room with a balcony and a sea view. The view was magnificent, and the sunset was breathtaking. You wake up and fall asleep to the sound of the sea. The room was very clean, and towels were changed daily. It’s a 40-minute walk along the promenade to the old town. There’s a bus stop nearby. There’s also a very good seafood restaurant and a local café with reasonable prices and a charming local vibe. The beach is just a short walk down the stairs. I recommend booking tours at the reception; they were even cheaper than the ones I booked online through travel agencies. Definitely take the tours. The breakfast was basic but had all the necessary food options available. I only used a taxi to and from the airport, though it’s unfortunate that Uber doesn’t operate in Crete. A huge thank you to Rafaela, who worked at the reception for 18 hours a day. She was always ready to help with any questions and even helped me open a stubborn bottle at 11 p.m. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
