ust returned from one week at Elia Sea Suites. What can I say - it was just amazing and we really didn’t want to leave. Everything was absolutely perfect. Every single staff member was so friendly and they couldn’t do enough for us. Maria, Katrina, Phillipe, Eleni, and all the cleaning staff. There are 20 rooms and we booked a room with an outdoor hot tub which made watching the amazing sunsets perfect. Breakfast was beautiful and very relaxing. The pool area was also amazing and very quiet and relaxing. The location of the hotel is perfect too. Just a couple of minutes to the beach and restaurants to the right of the hotel and about a 10 minute walk to the old town and harbour to the left. The old harbour has a very wide choice of restaurants and is great for exploring with lots of quirky shops in side streets off Main Street. Something new to find everywhere!! I would 100% recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return soon :)

There’s nothing not to like about this hotel

Our experience at Elia Sea Suites was simply exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and always attentive, making sure our stay was perfect. The room with a sea view and stunning sunset was absolutely breathtaking. The jacuzzi added an extra touch of luxury and relaxation, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was another highlight—great quality and a variety of delicious options to start the day right. In terms of location, the hotel is just a 6-7 minute walk from the port. It’s slightly set back from the busiest areas, offering a peaceful retreat. I imagine this would be even more valuable during peak season, but at this time of year, it was simply perfect. Overall, an outstanding stay with nothing but positives! I highly recommend it and would love to return.

We stayed at the deluxe suite with the jacuzzi. The room was spacious and new (the staff told us the hotel opened around August ‘24) and shower was also very big with great water flow. Location of the hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from the old town in a quieter area. The view of the sea is absolutely amazing! The jacuzzi right in front of the window makes it even more magical and relaxing! The room was cleaned everyday and the staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was also great with many fresh local products (a special thanks to Eleni and her delicious loumoumades 😉)! Last but not least, upon our departure the receptionist offered us two small bottles of local olive oil which he said is from the hotel’s owner olives! Definitely a nice touch to the already great experience! Totally recommended!

Just a small suggestion, maybe some more hooks in the bathroom and a shelf above the washbasin would be ideal!

Very nice little hotel. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly and welcoming. Lovely views of the sea right outside our window.

Unfortunately there is a lot of building and road works taking place around the hotel (more hotels being built). It was quite dusty, outside in the general area. The shower frequently lost the hot water even during a shower, this was mainly in the evening.

Excellent location with a stunning sea view, allowing you to fall asleep to the sound of waves. The staff is amazing, and the rooms are impeccably clean. The outdoor pool area is perfect for chilling, with a fantastic sunset view.

Missing an outdoor bar by the pool. The breakfast options are good, but considering the quality of food available in Crete, they could improve, especially compared to other hotels in this price range. Since they’ve only been open a few months, I assume they’ll work on these enhancements to deliver the full guest experience they’re capable of.

Everything about our stay was EXCEPTIONAL. We had great interactions with all of the staff, the location was perfect and walk-able to everywhere we wanted to go, and the breakfast was hearty enough to help us not need to get lunch any of the days we stayed there. But by FAR the best part was the view from the room. Absolutely indescribable.

Any issues that we had with our stay were resolved quickly, kindly, and professionally by the staff. Every single person we interacted with on the staff was friendly and helpful.

Fantastic hotel. Little gem and adult only which was superb. Breakfast very nice. A very relaxing venue. Pool lovely and provided with beach towels daily. Rooms cleaned every day with fresh bedding and towels.

Very very minor point. If you’re in rooms 1-3, you are right next to reception and it can get a bit noisy especially if guests are coming back a little tipsy. Plus they provided a local spirit on the table by reception so guests stop and have a couple.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Elia Sea Suites during a week-long vacation in August 2024. As someone who loves the beach and ocean views, I was excited to experience this highly-rated accommodation, and it did not disappoint. The Suites itself was spacious and well-appointed, with a large balcony offering stunning panoramic views of the crystal blue waters of the sea. The room was clean and with high-end furnishings and all the modern amenities I could want, including a luxurious king-size bed, wet bar, and high-definition TV. The jacuzzi facing the sea was particularly impressive. Beautiful place to watch the sunset. The suite's location right on the beachfront was perfect, allowing me easy access to the beach. There are restaurants nearby, or take 10 mins walk to the Old Town. The service was consistently excellent throughout my stay. The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful, quickly resolving door lock issue I had in the no bathroom. The housekeeping team kept my suite spotless every day. I was particularly impressed by the friendly chef during breakfast time as she cooked the food with great heart. Overall, my stay at the Elia Sea Suites was an absolute dream. The combination of the stunning accommodations, prime beachfront location, and exceptional service made this the perfect getaway. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again and highly recommended.

A beautiful hotel with stunning views! The hot tub by the windows is amazing as you can relax while looking out on the ocean. The rooms provide anything you need with a natural and minimalist design which I like. My girlfriend and I had a great time here. The staff was also super friendly and always standing ready to help and assist. Would love to come back here during summer time.

The room was exceptional! From the hot tub to the sauna feature in the shower, no detail has been missed. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms well cleaned daily.

While the breakfast was tasty, there wasn’t much of a selection - however this could be due to traveling out of season.
