I come from Italy, Rome, with my parents and I am a tour guide, so I often travel all over Europe with groups and see many hotels. What really struck me about this place is the kindness and warm welcome of the three sisters — Maria, Sofia, and Yoanna — who run this business on their own. The cleanliness and the amazing seaside location are also truly impressive. A special thanks goes also to the houskeeping ladies. They clean the room with love and care. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. The love you put into what you do, and the smiles you share from the early hours of the morning until late at night, are something truly special. Frini Hotel was an excellent choice. We stayed for 8 days and had a wonderful experience. It was probably the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in — everything was spotless. The staff was incredibly kind and supportive throughout our stay. The location is perfect, right across from the beach, with great restaurants nearby and a pleasant 20-minute walk to the Old Town. A nice bonus is the free parking available and the incredible sunset view!! - Not to mention the variety of towel sculptures we found in our room every day :).

There was really nothing we didn’t like. If we’re being extra picky, we did notice the absence of a TV — but the Wi-Fi was excellent, so we were able to watch movies on our phones and laptops without any issues.

We had a lovely stay in frini. The room was comfortable with a nice bathroom. We had a balcony, a big mirror, fridge and air conditioning. There was a lovely cleaning service everyday with cute surprises. The breakfast was really good. The location is great, 15/20 minutes from center of Chania, and it’s just by the beach! They have their own parking that is closed with a key which makes you not worry about parking lot or safety of your car. Hotel felt very safe as well. And the girls working there! So kind and helpful :)

Maybe sometimes you can hear someone on the corridor, but not that it bothered us.

This hotel was way beyond my expectations! Everything about our stay was exceptional and truly memorable. The room was spotlessly clean, with fresh towels and bed sheets, and the view of the beach from our upgraded room was absolutely stunning. We were even given a free room upgrade upon check-in, which was incredibly kind and appreciated. The location is perfect — right across from the beach and on a lively street full of great restaurants, cafés, and shops. Despite being in such a vibrant area, the hotel was peaceful and relaxing. It’s also conveniently located: just a 6–10 minute drive from Chania Old Town, or a pleasant 25–30 minute walk along the coast. They also offered free private parking about 300 meters from the hotel — we were handed the key at check-in, which made things super easy. The staff were warm, helpful, and genuinely friendly throughout our stay. Every day, we returned to the room to find a new towel animal creation — such a sweet and fun extra touch that made us smile each time. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of fresh and tasty options. Overall, this hotel offers incredible value for money. It’s clean, well-located, and clearly run with care and attention to detail. I truly appreciate all the staff and workers there — thank you for a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

Great localisation.I recommend asking for a room on the roof, great view of the sea, you don't even have to go to the beach to sunbathe. The room was very clean, large bed very comfortable, doors to the roof where you can spend the evening with a glass of wine looking at the sunset. Bathroom clean and functional. Shampoo and soap provided.The room is perfect for one person, but I think couples will also appreciate its uniqueness. Very nice cleaning ladies, always willing to talk with a smile on their face. The air conditioning in the room is very efficient and is well placed so it doesn't blow on you when you sleep. The fridge in the room is also very useful for cooling drinks. Good food at an affordable price in the hotel restaurant. Very close to the beach and the area is quiet. Lots of restaurants nearby. 15 minutes walk to the old town where there are lots of bars and restaurants. It is worth taking the bus from the airport to the bus station, only a 15 minute walk to the hotel.I don't usually write reviews but this stay will be memorable and if I have the opportunity I will go back there.

It's not a big problem but it would be nice to have a bottle of cold water in the room at the beginning of the stay.

The staff are very nice! I got so lucky with the top floor and a huge balcony that could fit 10 or more people (shared with another unit) but still unexpected for a solo traveler. The location is right in front of a public beach which gives a fantastic view of sunrise and sunset. The room has all the basic necessities and it is also clean.

Just a small thing but maybe a little coffee maker or a kettle with some teas would be nice for convenience. But I understand why it wasn’t there, it’s because they have a restaurant downstairs where you can get it.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location by the beach and only 15mins walking distance to the old town and harbour. You can rent a car with them and they can also arrange boat tours for you too. There is a secured car park too. You can also borrow books from the reception. Best value for a nice stay.

It is right in front of the Nea beach. The guests can rent the beach chairs for 10 euros for 2 chairs and a umbrella. One can also book tours from the hotel. Not too far from the old town either, about 20 minutes casual walk. They also have a restaurant, and there are many restaurants around also, if you don’t want to go downtown.

The room is cleaned every day, with the sea view, but it is small and a little worn (the fridge is quite noisy that can wake you up during night).

I rarely write reviews, but everything was excellent. Very clean, staff was very polite, excellent location just opposite the beach. I already miss it and I'm sure I will visit again. Thanks everyone!

The location was amazing, right on the beach and about 15 mins walk to the old port and the main bus station. The restaurant premises very well presented and clean with delicious well prepared food with local recipes. Breakfast is adequate and very consistent with a home made local pie, cake and marmalades as well as a traditional Cretan salad to do it yourself. I would appreciate some variety as most guests stay for a few days at least, some croissants and pastries as well as some juice, vegetarian options and maybe a couple of more hot food options instead of just omelette. The sea view rooms are feast for your eyes if you enjoy waking up to that view. All rooms have a nicely redecorated bathroom and well maintained A/C device. Some are really nice and spacious. A family run business with a personal touch and care. Thank you very much!

Some of the room sizes are quite inconsistent and rather small and inconvenient to our expectations. A bit confusing with the star rating of the property and therefore quite unclear of what to actually expect. The corridor, doors and people speaking can be noisy in the early morning when interacting with housekeeping staff. The is no telephone number to call the hotel as a booked guest or just to ask sth that you may need. The sun beds were charge even to hotel guests. Take away breakfast not willingly available to guests who leave for an early day trip.
