Everything was perfect. Location wise, the hotel is located 35sec on the clock from the beach, with restaurants and markets. You don't even have to bring changing clothes to the beach 😁 There is a big supermarket located 7 mins walking, with everything. Aditionally, the hotel is located 7 mins walking as well from the old town. Staff were amazing. Very welcoming, attentive. Cleanliness was super, eveything on spot! We had a studio with sea view which complemented our stay. There is elevator working as well in case if travelling with kids. Their garden is super cool if you'd like to relax and have a beer in the shadow The staff has connections and recommandations for day tours as well as car rentals. This hotel deserves at least 4stars!!!

The hotel has a typical Cretan style. We were in a Junior suite and the nice surprise was that the third bad was a real double bad, not a sofa. There was a small kitchen with all we needed. The hotel is 100 meters from the beach with umbrellas and sunbeds and the street with many nice restaurants. From the other hand, the hotel is close to the old city 15 minutes walk. Another nice surprise was that we could leave the luggage in the store room and also there is an option to take a shower and change the clothes the last day before our late flight. We would like to say a big thank you to Dimitra Giafasaki from the reception, who was very kind, watm and very helpful. She really put a special touch to our nice vacation in Chania. We recommend Candia hotel very much.

Everything about this hotel was absolutely perfect. The apartment itself (Penthouse Suite) has everything you need and the views from every window are amazing. The terrace is incredible - the views and the sounds of the waves are fantastic. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a lovely garden area on the ground floor and they even have a shower that you can use after check out. It is an easy 15 minute walk to the harbour, and just steps from the beach. The waterfront by the hotel is lined with wonderful restaurants and cafes/bars. There is also a good sized supermarket a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Very, very nice place! So close to the beach! Also very close to the Old Town of Chania - abot 10-15 minutes. Very clean and spacious. The staff is extremely polite and helpful! Totally reccommend!

We are coming from the UK and one of us is Italian so for him being close to the beach is a must. For us this meant we were in a great strategic location, not far from many of the beaches near Chania but also within easy walking distance of the old town. The restaurants close to us were all great as were those in the old town or by the port, we did not have one bad meal. We had paid for breakfast to be included, there is a reasonable selection though some might find it a little restrictive, it had everything we needed! If you are a Brit looking for a full fry up you won't find that but they can make you eggs, bacon or an omelette fresh. I am a fan of lighter breakfasts on holiday so really enjoyed the greek yogurt, cereal, fruit and honey combo with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and a coffee. We stayed in one of the studio rooms with a small balcony, rooms were clean, big TV, comfy bed and able to accommodate the 6ft 5in (195cm) tallness of my partner, which is not always the case! Safety deposit box was easy to use. They offered daily room cleaning if desired. If you are looking for luxury you might want to pay for one of the bigger rooms but for us this was perfect. The staff were super accommodating, super friendly, always happy to help and always had a smile on their faces. If we could give 6 stars for the staff we would. We arrived to Chania quite late and they were able to accommodate a later check in and our flight out is also late in the day, we have been able to store our luggage and they have facilities for you to have a shower if you choose to spend your last day on the beach. One day we did a day trip to Heraklion, this was an early start and the staff accommodated us taking some breakfast items the day before and storing in the fridge in the room.

I liked everything. The hotel is located very close to a very comfortable beach with clear waters. Enjoyable and calm location with beach tavernas. Hotel is not far from charming old city and central bus station. The staff was so welcoming and helpful with all my questions. The best and kindest hotel people in Crete ( I stayed at several places before).. The room had everything I needed - comfortable bed, small fridge, nice bathroom, balcony with side view of sea. There is also beautiful outside area under orange and lemon trees. I enjoyed the delicious breakfast there. They made fresh omelette for each guest. I hope to return there. Thanks a lot!

nice, friendly, helpful staff - the room we have selected was a large room with one 'internal bedroom' in addition to the main [bed]room - both has their own balconies, so, it is good if you need space, privacy, etc...

The area is some 13 mins walk to the old town [but there are nice restaurants down the street next to the coast] but it is not a very superb looking neighborhood and very difficult to find parking place in high season (none of this can be improved by the hotel - we really appreciate the service of the hotel]

Awesome location! 1 minute from the beach. Walking distance to Old Town. Penthouse has a large patio with great ocean view. Room was super clean and spacious and beds were comfortable. Bathroom was a good size too. Breakfast was perfect with all the essentials. Maria and the staff were amazing. Maria was so kind and patient and always willing to help us with every need. She helped us get a rental car for a day in which we were able to fit in a Balos beach day. Thank you Maria. Highly recommend!

Nothing bad to say.

Our stay at Candia Hotel was in July 2024. We were a group of 5 people, staying in 2 rooms. We were glad that the rooms were on the same floor, which made our stay more pleasant. The staff was exceptional, always responsive to our requests and willing to help us. They even offered us suggestions of restaurants with very good food. We arrived at the accommodation earlier than the check-in time and in less than 15 minutes they made one of the rooms available to us. The rooms were very clean and spacious, we lacked nothing. I highly recommend and we will definitely be back on our next trip to Chania.

Exceptional hotel with very friendly and welcoming staff who are helpful from start to finish. Lovely apartment with great facilities, even had a nice garden for guests to sit in too. Our favourite thing about this place is that it is only a 5 minute walk to the beach! We all had a great experience overall, will definitely be rebooking if we decide on coming back to Chania next time.

We expected there to be AC in both bedrooms, however there was only one and the other had a ceiling fan which meant it often got quite warm. To resolve this we opened the door of the AC room to allow the cool air to reach the other bedroom
