Everything was perfect. Location wise, the hotel is located 35sec on the clock from the beach, with restaurants and markets. You don't even have to bring changing clothes to the beach 😁 There is a big supermarket located 7 mins walking, with everything. Aditionally, the hotel is located 7 mins walking as well from the old town. Staff were amazing. Very welcoming, attentive. Cleanliness was super, eveything on spot! We had a studio with sea view which complemented our stay. There is elevator working as well in case if travelling with kids. Their garden is super cool if you'd like to relax and have a beer in the shadow The staff has connections and recommandations for day tours as well as car rentals. This hotel deserves at least 4stars!!!

Very, very nice place! So close to the beach! Also very close to the Old Town of Chania - abot 10-15 minutes. Very clean and spacious. The staff is extremely polite and helpful! Totally reccommend!

We are coming from the UK and one of us is Italian so for him being close to the beach is a must. For us this meant we were in a great strategic location, not far from many of the beaches near Chania but also within easy walking distance of the old town. The restaurants close to us were all great as were those in the old town or by the port, we did not have one bad meal. We had paid for breakfast to be included, there is a reasonable selection though some might find it a little restrictive, it had everything we needed! If you are a Brit looking for a full fry up you won't find that but they can make you eggs, bacon or an omelette fresh. I am a fan of lighter breakfasts on holiday so really enjoyed the greek yogurt, cereal, fruit and honey combo with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and a coffee. We stayed in one of the studio rooms with a small balcony, rooms were clean, big TV, comfy bed and able to accommodate the 6ft 5in (195cm) tallness of my partner, which is not always the case! Safety deposit box was easy to use. They offered daily room cleaning if desired. If you are looking for luxury you might want to pay for one of the bigger rooms but for us this was perfect. The staff were super accommodating, super friendly, always happy to help and always had a smile on their faces. If we could give 6 stars for the staff we would. We arrived to Chania quite late and they were able to accommodate a later check in and our flight out is also late in the day, we have been able to store our luggage and they have facilities for you to have a shower if you choose to spend your last day on the beach. One day we did a day trip to Heraklion, this was an early start and the staff accommodated us taking some breakfast items the day before and storing in the fridge in the room.

Our stay at Candia Hotel was in July 2024. We were a group of 5 people, staying in 2 rooms. We were glad that the rooms were on the same floor, which made our stay more pleasant. The staff was exceptional, always responsive to our requests and willing to help us. They even offered us suggestions of restaurants with very good food. We arrived at the accommodation earlier than the check-in time and in less than 15 minutes they made one of the rooms available to us. The rooms were very clean and spacious, we lacked nothing. I highly recommend and we will definitely be back on our next trip to Chania.

Exceptional hotel with very friendly and welcoming staff who are helpful from start to finish. Lovely apartment with great facilities, even had a nice garden for guests to sit in too. Our favourite thing about this place is that it is only a 5 minute walk to the beach! We all had a great experience overall, will definitely be rebooking if we decide on coming back to Chania next time.

We expected there to be AC in both bedrooms, however there was only one and the other had a ceiling fan which meant it often got quite warm. To resolve this we opened the door of the AC room to allow the cool air to reach the other bedroom

This small hotel is in an ideal location. On a quiet side street yet only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and several good restaurants; in the opposite direction a 15 minute walk brings you into the town centre and the beautiful old harbour. Everything is clean and modern, I guess the hotel has had a recent makeover. Excellent air conditioning in our room and a very comfortable bed made for restful nights. Small balcony was very pleasant to sit out on, but no view. Breakfast was a buffet of mostly traditional Greek food, but you could have omelette or eggs and bacon on request, and you could eat inside or in the lovely small garden. Staff were very friendly and helpful and it was no problem checking in after midnight as the hotel provided a code for the door. Overall a very pleasant experience.

I thought it was a bit expensive by Greek standards, but then Chania is quite pricey. If you have a car then parking may be an issue, but we were travelling by bus so not a problem for us. You can get KTEL buses from the bus station to Heraklion, Rethymno, Kastelli, Paleochora, Elafonissi etc and we find they’re very cheap, comfortable and reliable.

Nothing!!! I would just suggest to bring earplugs because it can be a bit loud when people come home late and forget others are sleeping! But that is not the hotels fault!

I had the most wonderful stay at Candia Hotel! I was welcomed by Elge with a smile and felt immediately at home. The single room was perfect and the wooden floor a nice surprise. Modern bathroom with fresh towels, eveything spotless clean. Beautiful and peaceful garden to our use. And then the breakfast, exactly what I wanted. Maria and Ada made super tasteful omelettes of your choice, and were most helpful for everything I needed. Had some fun and lively chats with them also 😀 Liked all the staff I met very much! Thank you ❤️

Very nice staff. Clean, modern rooms, good bed. Good value for money. We had a two-room apartment on the fourth floor. Nice, quiet, two balconies with sea view. Will consider to stay here again. Nea Chora is a great place and this hotel is close to the beach.

There was a problem with the hot water. Took very long time to get warm - what a waste of water the keep the tap running for 10-15 minutes! And on one day there was no hot water at all.

I am a repeat customer over the last couple of years. Fantastic breakfast, staff is exceptional and always accommodating and helpful, it is strategically and ideally located 1 minute from the beach surrounded by fantastic restaurants.
