The hostel leaves really good impressions. You can feel comfortable here and relax after or before continuing your journey. Excellent cleanliness and convenient location right next to the Chania KTEL bus station. The immediate area is full of shops and street food outlets; to the center is the old port, which is a stone's throw away. The 6-person room is quite spacious, although not particularly large. The locker under the bed can accommodate a lot of your stuff. Reading lamp, clean bedding, magnetic card entry everywhere. Well-stocked kitchen, perfectly organized bathroom, and showers (gender separated), especially on the first floor. A nice patio/inner courtyard with a small pond à la pool. Before check-in or after check-out, you can leave your luggage at the reception. High-speed Wi-Fi connection throughout the facility (individual access via password from the reception). PS: Read the hostel rules posted on an A4 card in the rooms; you'll have fun!

Everything it was a new building and the facilities where great.. it exceeded my expectations. good air-conditioning.. and bathroom with those temperatures this was needed nice swimmingpool.. the location was perfect near the citycenter and busstation. i recommend..

Wonderful hostel! One the best I've stayed in the south of Europe. Very well equipped and laid out: the common areas are very good and the kitchens fully equipped. The staff are very friendly and willing to help. Great location: 10-minute walk to the center and stores.

Everything is nice, but as an improvement I would say: - add curtains for the beds, to not be woken by the light of the other occupants - maybe more tables in the living room (the tables are quickly filled even in low season with few guests).

Fantastic atmosphere, incredibly clean, very social, but not loud with beautiful kitchen facilities, air conditioning and a pool. All around an incredible experience. Reception staff is there 24/7 (very helpful if you arrive after midnight) and makes sure that everyone is quiet after hours. Cleaners are in the hostel at least three times a day and keep things almost spotless. The pool was an excellent surprise, a bit small but perfect for a refreshing dip after a day exploring the city. Hostel offers tours and has a WhatsApp group to organize group activities with other visitors. Nearby to Old Town, the bus station, laundromat and grocery stores. Excellent hostel - I’d come back to Chania just to stay here again!

A bar and breakfast would be great additions

There are 2 big well equipped kitchens and very big common spaces. It's easy to make friends and encounter other guests. There is a Whatsapp group for guests to communicate and get together. For me it was fairly easy to get together with people every evening to go out and do something. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. High level of hygiene everywhere. Nice balcony. Soundproof windows (not 100% but reduces street noise significantly. Big supermarket close by.

No basic complementary things like tea and coffee. The guests have to make the bed themselves which is cumbersome. The room locker is under the bed which is also uncomfortable. Why not a regular locker? Toilets and showers are not well lit. The light turns on by movement and if no movement is detected the lights got off. The room key and lock are cluncky and require force to open. No capability to control room temperature - It was hot and there was nothing to do about it.

The staff was great , I got to the hostel early in the morning and they checked me in right away with no problem. They have a WhatsApp group of the hostel so it will be really easy as a single traveler to find friends to hangout with and partners to travel together. I met a lot of friends thanks to it. The kitchen is clean and big enough to make food together, and the general vibe in the hostel is great. They also offer tours and attractions incase you'll be looking for something nice to do. Everything is clean and the housekeepers made my bed every day without even asking. I highly recommend this place. P.S In the picture - hangout with the new friends from the hostel

There were contractions outside of the hostel the all time I was there, and it was really inconvenient in some point. At the last night I left because I wanted to change the "view". But overall it is an amazing hostel, and the road construction will probably be over soon. (Comment date 17/4/25)

The best hostel I have ever stayed so far. Clean, comfortable. Near to the main bus station, and local bus station. Stuff was very polite and disposable for every question. Notice board was full of information about interesting places to visit in Crete. Hostel allows you to borrow a sun umbrella when it is available, they rent beach towels for decent price.

If there are more than 4 people in room, I don't see a point of having own bathroom in the room, especially if women are sharing the room, because when one goes in, others have to use toilets on the floor. So, maybe is better to use that space for some other things like hat stand.

The premises was new.Nothing damaged. Newly decorated. Lounge, kitchens, garden, rooms were spacious. Common areas/ toilets, corridors, rooms, bathrooms, balconies, kitchens were always very clean. Linens, pillow cases were very clean, all ironed. Air conditions are manuel, and working well Well equipped kitchen, owen, stove, microwave, you can cook everything! They provide you electrical card to lock your storage under the bunk beds which is also for hostel’s enterance. Security is very well provided. There is even security man in the hostel. Just on the corner of the main street; it is safe to come in the evenings, especially for women. After 11 p.m. it is not allowed to stay in the garden and this makes the hostel quite, well to rest in the evening Very closed the IKEA bus station, 5 min. Walk only. A big supermarket very near, to buy water, drinks, frozen food, whatever you want actually. Only 10-15 min.s walk to the Old City. There are beautiful beaches very closed, some you take a bus - bus station is closed. You can leave your luggage for free while waiting for check in, after check out. And they even provide you a locked cabinet for your valuables for free. I stayed in a hostel for the first time. I stayed for 6 days! Before going I was stressed. But when arrived, I was welcome by a helpful receptionists, and my room was very beautiful with balcony, my room mates were kind ladies, the people were all nice. I said to myself it was a great choice! I will stay there at my next trip. Thank you Cocoon!

Nice personel, cleaning staff takes care of the Bathrooms and comunal spaces frequently, so it stays really clean Location was excellent, few minutes from supermarket, around 10min to the Old city by foot, around 20 to the beach The recepcionist encouraged us to join the WhatsApp group, where other guests plan some trips or other activities. We didn't join but I think it's a nice option for solo travelers <3

There could be more shelves or hangers near the sink space (it gets wet easily). We were a group of friends in one room, we had some trobules to managing the Space in the room, the Space between the beds are really small, sometimes we were unable to squeeze past each other (our room was not as spacious as the one showed in the photos at booking profile)

The hostel is located 300m from Ktel (the central bus station) in Chania. For that location, the price is unbeatable. Also, you can pay via Paypal (unlike in other hostels who only accept credit cards). Bedsheets are included in the reservation, towels are not but one can rent them. The hostel has a space outside with tables and chairs and a pool where you can swim from 8am-8pm. There is a whatsapp group where guests can connect. They also offer activities like trips to Heraklion and Knossos, Santorini etc. (Unfortunately I could not test any of these activities because I arrived in the evening and had to catch a plane the next morning). Check-in and check-out were very fast and unbureaucratic and the staff were very kind.
