The hostel leaves really good impressions. You can feel comfortable here and relax after or before continuing your journey. Excellent cleanliness and convenient location right next to the Chania KTEL bus station. The immediate area is full of shops and street food outlets; to the center is the old port, which is a stone's throw away. The 6-person room is quite spacious, although not particularly large. The locker under the bed can accommodate a lot of your stuff. Reading lamp, clean bedding, magnetic card entry everywhere. Well-stocked kitchen, perfectly organized bathroom, and showers (gender separated), especially on the first floor. A nice patio/inner courtyard with a small pond à la pool. Before check-in or after check-out, you can leave your luggage at the reception. High-speed Wi-Fi connection throughout the facility (individual access via password from the reception). PS: Read the hostel rules posted on an A4 card in the rooms; you'll have fun!

This hostel exceeded every expectation I had and completely changed my perspective on hostels. The facilities are new, clean, and in excellent condition. The staff is friendly and always ready to help, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. There’s a lovely courtyard with a pool, a dedicated study room, a well-equipped kitchen, and spacious common areas for cooking and relaxing. The bathrooms are spotless, as they are cleaned multiple times throughout the day, and I never experienced any crowding or waiting. It’s by far the best value for money you can find — without sacrificing comfort in any way. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

One of the best hostels I have stayed in. Comfortable beds and incredibly clean bathrooms and common areas. The layout is really nice as it naturally leads to socialising and meeting people. They also organise a lot of day trips which is great for connecting with fellow travellers. Great location - close to town, bus stop, laundry across the street and plenty of shops/bakeries etc. The staff were friendly, helpful, and easy going. I would 100% recommend and return.

The only thing I would say to improve is to add some hooks or storage solution in the communal showers as there isn't really anywhere to put your things other than the floor outside the cubicle. Not even anywhere to hang your towel ready to use.

Everything it was a new building and the facilities where great.. it exceeded my expectations. good air-conditioning.. and bathroom with those temperatures this was needed nice swimmingpool.. the location was perfect near the citycenter and busstation. i recommend..

The cleanest hostel I have ever been to. The exceptional maintenance means the longevity of the facilities, therefore, I have to compliment the concept of keeping the hostel clean and organized all the time. I don't know how old it is, but it looks like It's brand new due to its flawless appearance. Also, there is plenty of space in the common area, and my stay there was super comfortable. There are many facilities - I could count three fully equipped kitchens, at least three spotless bathrooms with lots of cabins, a huge common area. Even though I haven't used the pool, I have to emphasize the cleanliness of the water. My room was great too, a big safe compartment for luggage, and a big and comfortable bed. I hope you will put the curtains because I saw that it's possible. I feel so grateful for the luggage room I could use after the checkout, I also managed to prepare my coffee with no problems. The fact that I paid only 25 EUR per night in the middle of the season for all of the things I mentioned makes me so grateful that I found this place available. I'll recommend it to everyone. Keep doing the work at this level of profession, nothing will stop you from being the best hostel in Greece.

That I didn't stay longer

Wonderful hostel! One the best I've stayed in the south of Europe. Very well equipped and laid out: the common areas are very good and the kitchens fully equipped. The staff are very friendly and willing to help. Great location: 10-minute walk to the center and stores.

Everything is nice, but as an improvement I would say: - add curtains for the beds, to not be woken by the light of the other occupants - maybe more tables in the living room (the tables are quickly filled even in low season with few guests).

The best part is the staff, very friendly, patient and helpful. The location is perfect, 4 minute walk to main bus terminal, bars and restaurants everywhere and about 10 minutes to the old port. I stayed here at least 5 days, one day I couldn't cancel a reservation i had at another hostel, I was just going to stay at cocoon but I figured try the other place, it looked good, had great reviews. Well, it was inferior to Cocoon. In my opinion it's the best hostel value in Chania,especially if cleanliness and location are important. It's a great place to meet people too. I could've stayed a month, when i come back it'll be my home in Chania!! Make your visit to Chania easy, just stay there!

No problems whatsoever

Fantastic atmosphere, incredibly clean, very social, but not loud with beautiful kitchen facilities, air conditioning and a pool. All around an incredible experience. Reception staff is there 24/7 (very helpful if you arrive after midnight) and makes sure that everyone is quiet after hours. Cleaners are in the hostel at least three times a day and keep things almost spotless. The pool was an excellent surprise, a bit small but perfect for a refreshing dip after a day exploring the city. Hostel offers tours and has a WhatsApp group to organize group activities with other visitors. Nearby to Old Town, the bus station, laundromat and grocery stores. Excellent hostel - I’d come back to Chania just to stay here again!

A bar and breakfast would be great additions

The staff was great , I got to the hostel early in the morning and they checked me in right away with no problem. They have a WhatsApp group of the hostel so it will be really easy as a single traveler to find friends to hangout with and partners to travel together. I met a lot of friends thanks to it. The kitchen is clean and big enough to make food together, and the general vibe in the hostel is great. They also offer tours and attractions incase you'll be looking for something nice to do. Everything is clean and the housekeepers made my bed every day without even asking. I highly recommend this place. P.S In the picture - hangout with the new friends from the hostel

There were contractions outside of the hostel the all time I was there, and it was really inconvenient in some point. At the last night I left because I wanted to change the "view". But overall it is an amazing hostel, and the road construction will probably be over soon. (Comment date 17/4/25)
