We had a wonderful experience staying at the Central City Hotel. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the city’s bus station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of fresh options, including homemade granola. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. However, what really made our experience stand out was the staff, with a special mention to Olga, the best host in the world. She was incredibly kind and helpful, she went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time, offering us fantastic recommendations for places to eat and things to do in the area. Their personal touch made all the difference, and we truly appreciated it. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with amazing service in a great location!

A great central location, just around the corner from the bus station. Also it is not a far distance from the Old town, Venezian port. The room was simple but clean and calm. The bathroom had all amenities. There was a tea maker with the choice of herbal tea or coffee, a small fridge and a hairdryer in the drawer. The staff was super friendly. A relaxing overnight stay is guaranteed.

Perhaps I would prefer to have a small breakfast as there was no such option. As it is in central location you have a choice of bar, cafes around to have a breakfast though.

I will come back! perfect location close to the old town, bus station and 15min to Nea Chora Beach. The room is very comfortable and cleaned every day, Excellent breakfast (great coffee! great yoghurt with granola! great orange juice!) very friendly staff at breakfast, especially (Maria). Olga is the best host I've ever met, she gave me a list of the best local restaurants and bus timetables. she gave me lots of recommendations on places to visit. every time I went to reception she asked me how I was and how the day had been. she's a great person with a great personality. thank you very much for everything Olga 😊 see you!

The location was good- in the middle of the modern shopping area and a 15 minute walk to both the harbour and Neo Chora beach. Close to the bus station. Hotel very clean, good standard of daily housekeeping. All the staff were very friendly but Olga was outstanding. We went to many of the restaurants she recommended and they were all great and very varied. She’s a really warm and friendly person. She wants everyone to leave Crete with only good memories and she did a good job for us.

We had rooms facing the main road and there was some traffic noise. Please get some Greek butter at breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay here. The whole staff was exceptional and Olga definitely goes the extra mile to make Your experience there one of a kind, You can feel honest generosity and kindness from everybody. Great local breakfast in the morning on a beautiful terrace overseeing the city center and sea on one end and the mountains on the other. Even tho the Hotel itself is directly in the city center, somehow You don't hear the noise. Comfortable beds, and great people, perfect location this has made our stay perfect. And for those traveling by car...there is free parking nearby opposite a supermarket, in Chania, this is extremely important due to the lack of parking spaces. I can recommend this hotel to all that want to book a stay in the heart of Chania.

The staff is simply mind-blowingly friendly, especially Olga and Maria. Special thanks to Olga for making our stay a huge joy with her kindness, caring and recommendations. The location is unbeatably central and easy access from the airport (the central bus station right around the corner). The breakfast offers everything you need and Maria is there to help you out with her friendliness. The hotel is very clean, too.

Only improvable point: The mattresses were a bit too soft for us.

The hotel was just a few steps away from Chania port and the old town with beautiful alleys full of small shops and restaurants. Near the hotel were a lot of shops as well. The whole facility was very clean and the rooms in very good condition and clean. As for the staff everyone was very helpful and friendly, especially Mrs Olga who made us a list of recommendations about restaurants and places to visit as it was our first time there. At the breakfast was only a few food to eat but tasteful and unique.

Unfortunately I didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but I'm sure it was great. I had to move to another hotel to continue my stay as they were fully booked, but the very kind owner booked me into another lovely hotel and one of their very kind employees helped me take my luggage around the corner to the other hotel and wouldn't even take a tip, this is incredible kindness and so very much appreciated as I was not expecting to stay in Crete.

My room was facing the Main Street and was a little noisy. But overall the location was perfect.

It feels like a boutique hotel, with a touch of Scandi design. Breakfast (great coffee! great yoghurt! great spinach pie!) is served on the open rooftop terrace, from where you can already see the sea :) For me, this was a great start for each day of exploration :) The room was super clean and the staff, indeed, really friendly and helpful. Many thanks to Eleftheria, Olga and Nicoleta! Oh, and of course the prime location - 3 minutes to the old town, 2 minutes to taxi station, 2 minutes to bus station, 1 minute to supermarket, 8 minutes to the sea shore, 15 minutes to Nea Chora beach etc.

Spent the loveliest week here, in this little gem. The hotel is situated perfectly, close to everything (old town, bus station, stores), but not in the most touristy area which is great. Olga was incredible, she went out of her way and created a hand-written list of recommended restaurants for is and also made some copies of bus timetables. The breakfast was amazing each morning, nice variety of savory and sweet things to eat, and that fresh orange juice ...

The bathroom was quite small, it's sometimes challenging with your wet towels and bathing suits, not to mention the sand from the beach.
