The location is great - just 1 min walk from the main KTEL bus station. Supermarkets, restaurants and the old town are all just a stone's throw away. We were worried it may be noisy considering its central location but it was actually quiet at night and early morning. Check-in is on the top floor - accessible via a tight lift. The whole premises is well run, safe with CCTVs on each floor. Check-in staff was very welcoming and provided useful info. The apartment itself is quite spacious. While the bathroom and kitchen are a bit outdated, everything is clean and function well. It was a comfortable stay experience for us.

As said before, it's just that the bathroom and kitchen are a little dated.

The main criteria for us were location and cleanliness. The property is located in the center, just a couple minutes from the bus station, from where its possible to travel where needed. Old town with restaurants and picturesque streets is also several minutes walk. Grateful to the owners and cleaning staff for warm friendly attitude and keeping the property in order.

Noises from outside at night are easily heard inside our room due to some gap between the window frame and the balcony door--good to be checked and repaired. As well as leakage from the shower cabin of unknown origin, which i reported to the owner.

Everything. The location is steps away from the illustrious Old town, beaches are near even those which are not it is a good commute via buses. Supermarkets, markets, taverns, shopping, all there and a bus station is just across the street. Location is center but no noise because it is tucked into a small street between two crowded ones. The apartment itself had absolutely everything, even a washing machine!!!! The staff is helpful, easygoing and nice. 5 stars

I stayed for a month. My room was cleaned regularly and clean towels always working around me as I was studying. Very helpful giving me information about places of interest and responding efficiently and appropriately when I didn't know how things worked. Always made themselves available and nothing was too much trouble. I will stay again

Located a few minutes' walk from the old centre of Chania, the Alena is tremendous value. The apartment I was allocated is spacious, and while I was initially dubious about the hard pillows, it turns out they're form-fitting and incredibly comfortable. The bed is exceptiolnally comfortable too. Satellite tv is available in multiple languages. G, the owner (manager?) answered my request for help with parking my rental car, and we communicated on WhatsApp too. Turns out I got lucky with a place one block up, because one thing's for sure - parking is a bit of a challenge. Still, in a worst-case situation, there's plenty of parking around the Venetian Port area, a 10-minute walk. For an excellent meal nearby, head out of the passageway leading from the Alena, turn right, and the restaurant is on that first corner. I'll happily stay again if back in Chania (which I certainly hope to be)!.

Wave that magic wand and make all the cars parked along both kerbs by the hotel vanish! But, seriously, it seems to be all down to the time of day. I arrived at around 18:30 on a Friday, when Chanians head into town to enjoy themselves. The street was pretty much empty early the next morning!

The location was right next to the bus station but still just a stone's throw away from the city centre. Clean and comfy flat. Good for a short stay.

Even though the room was clean & comfy it was a bit dark and that's why I felt like the flat was perhaps good for a short stay. The room was a good size for 1 person.

Alena apartments have a very central and convenient location. The bus station and the taxi station are very close. the apartment we stayed in had a fantastic terrace! The bed was very comfortable. the kitchen/living room was a bit different from what we are used to, a bit old-fashioned.😊 As our flight home left very early in the morning, we asked how we could get to the airport in the easiest way, A very nice guy at the reception offered us a transfer for a reasonable amount. He was waiting for us outside the hotel at 4:45 in the morning.

I really liked the location of the apartments. It is located next to the main bus stop and not so far away from the old town area of Chania. I liked that there was a balcony as well as basic utilities were provided. The hosts are very kind and hospitable. There is a grocery shop nearby. They also lend a bike for free during the stay.

I had a small issue with the washing machine in the apartment. I complained about that to the hosts, they mentioned that they will replace it. Besides that, I have not experiences any other issues during my stay at Alena Apartments.

I like the vibe of the place and the location was really good. Was great for a large group of people. Some of the rooms were very well equipped with a big fridge and a bottle opener. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a little balcony

We could not leave the aircon on when we left the room so it was unbearably hot when we got back after our dinner. We turned on the aircon but it took some time to cool down. In the large room, there was a bed in the dining area away from the other beds and that room was too hot to sleep in

The central location was excellent, with bus station nearby and only a short walk to old town. The spacious balcony was a great place to relax. We can recommend getting picked up from the airport by Niko. It was also good to be able to leave our luggage for later collection after check out time.

This apartment would be cramped for space if accommodating a 3rd guest.
