This is a newly renovated hotel with nice staff and excellent location, next to the bus station and a few blocks from the city center and the old town. Marron (brown in Spanish) and lifestyle!? No, it is just a hotel. Was nice that the room stayed cooled also when you left the room.

This is a fine hotel and was good value for the money, but here are some issues I would like to point out: - The soundproofing is next to nothing and the cleaning personnel makes a lot of noise all mornings with slamming doors and talking laud. - The bathroom was tiny and the door frame for the shower was so low that anyone over 170 cm would need to duck to enter the small shower area. - The breakfast buffet was small but had the essentials and some extras to have a good meal. But meat/ham, as well as croissants, was of the cheapest kind that I would not eat. - Really thick nice towels in the room, but nowhere to really dry them well. They were not exchanged with the daily cleaning , so you always had a wet towel.

We stayed at Marron Lifestyle last minute for a business trip, we were very happy with the location. It is located at the centre of the town however it is found in a smaller alley where it is quiet and there is no noise of cars/ traffic. The hotel is very pleasant, nicely decorated, clean and overall a very nice accommodation experience. Breakfast featured some fresh local treats as well, the bar had lovely coffee and snacks. The staff was very polite and attentive too.

The location was good, 15 minutes walk to the beach (skipping the old town and crowded streets), breakfast was good with the same time everyday which made it easy to remember. The bedroom was exactly as in the pictures and was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good and with fresh bread, fruit and cakes. The staff was very helpful and nice, all of them were always with a smile and greetings all the time.

There's no agreement with any carpark with a preference rate. You can park on the street for free but it is a lottery to get a spot close by. On the shampoo and shower gel we didn't get any every time that the room was serviced. I had to go to reception to get a few supplies to keep us going. It would be useful to have a big bottle same as the hand soap. Breakfast was good but there could be a bit more variety on offer (we stayed 14 days) and at some point it was pretty much the same.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel looks and feels very premium. The room was ok sized and clean, the bed comfortable, the balcony was clean and pleasant even thought the neighbourhood was not the best. The bath was pretty small but had an ok sized shower. The towels were very large and very soft with a great weight and we liked those. The breakfast was very nice, they had quality food and the selection was plenty. We recommend taking breakfast outside in the back terrace/garden because it’s very nice and quiet there. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

The location doesn’t look to great and can be a bit scary at night, even thought it was very close to a very good pastry/coffee shop. Our room had a door that was closed and most probably was connecting another room.

I loved everything! This was my first time in Chania and I felt so welcome at the hotel every single day. The extremely beautiful greek staff is of exceptionally high standard and so professional, both at the reception, breakfast or bar. The hotel is brand new and everything is fresh and clean. The decor is beautiful. My bed was 1.80 meters wide, I had perfect hotel sleep! The TV had so many great channels, the fridge was cool, good dry rack on balconies. Perfect air condition. The lighting fixtures in the room were very well designed. Very nice toiletries and the most amazing, big and thick towels! Sofia the cleaning lady was so nice and the other lady too. I never order food at a hotel to eat in the room, but it I did it a few times, and it was so nice to have it delivered with a smile from the nice Alex! The breakfast room was beautifully designed and bright and the food was awesome and the staff even better! Beautiful Nicoletta, Eleni and Nikos, thank you for your kindness! Maria, the person that made me feel incredibly welcome with her first message to me when I booked in the cold Iceland, welcomed me with a warm smile and worked hard to give me the best room to meet all my requirements, she even made sure I could get into the room earlier than I expected - and she offered me to go down and get the delicious breakfast, which I could not believe. Thank you! Because of her kindness with her name signed in this Booking message when I booked, I looked forward the whole time on my travels to 3 other destinations in 2 other countries, to come to Marron. When travelling solo, this kind of professional hotel work, is greatly appreciated. Thank you for everything Maria! I even extended my stay for 3 more nights because I felt at home, respected and appreciated as a guest. And Nondas was amazing in everything he did for me too, thank you! Petros was also so nice. Everything was perfect.

Clean, beautiful and cozy hotel with great breakfast and super friendly staff. Perfect location near the old town and bus station and so on. The staff gave us recommendations for what to explore and visit and also options for different trips for example boat trip to Balos and bus for sunset in Falasarna with a pick up and drop off point 5 mins walk from the hotel. Would highly recommend :)

Everything about this charming city hotel was wonderful—the people, the place, and the location. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of downtown, within walking distance of shops, the central market, the old port, and the bus station. The décor was beautiful, and while the rooms weren’t very spacious, they were modern, very clean, and comfortable, featuring cable TV. The only minor issue I encountered was with using Netflix. I would definitely choose to stay here again the next time I visit Chania.

The location was amazing, less than a minute to the bus station which you'll spend most of your trip going to and from. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, I felt extremely looked after. The entire hotel was very modern and clean throughout!

There could be some noise from other guests coming and going from their rooms as the room doors didn't have the best insolation from the corridors. The shower door was low and I hit my head multiple times on the corner.

Our stay at Marron was really nice. We had twin beds and a lovely balcony. This was our first time in Crete. The breakfast was amazing with so much variety including some traditional Cretan food. I loved having my breakfast at their outdoor area which was so beautifully designed and we were always well taken care of by Nicole, our breakfast waitress. I would like to give a special thanks to the receptionists, Nondas, Maria and Petros who guided us throughout. They were always ready to help and give us advice 24/7.
