The location is great! Right in the city center, above the central market, with a great city view! You can feel and take in the city vibe, and it gives you the mood to go out and have a drink! We loved the cleaning service, which is great, the staff, the breakfast (had a lot of classics such as eggs, omlette, cheese, ham, bacon, and also specialties like cheese pie, salads, grilled vegetables, Greek sweets, Greek yogurt and more). The mattress and pillow are super comfy, the AC is smooth, and you can control the levels of cooling. Ah yeah, and the hotel design, branding and anesthetics are just exquisite! We loved everything!

The hotel is fantastic, the personnel are very nice and they are always happy to help you. The location is perfect, next to the old town so you can walk to the port in less than 5 min. In the surrounding area there are plenty of shops. They change the towel everyday and make up the room, that is fantastic since the climate is humid so you will have always dry towels. In case you are traveling by car the hotel offers you a service of parking your car for 15 per night. We were 5 nights in Chania, and when we will come back for sure we'll choose the Arkadi again!

Everything was good

-Very clean and lovely hotel, it looks brand new -Staff are so friendly and polite -Rooms are nice, clean and comfortable (beds and pillows), no noise could be heard at the back of the hotel which was perfect -Location is spot on, this is the best thing about the hotel. You are literally on the door step of Old Town, the Venetian Harbour, restaurants, shops and the bus station. The journey from the bus station to the airport was about 30mins and it stopped right outside the departures entrance.

Only minor issues which wouldn’t stop us from booking this hotel again: -Breakfast could be better to include vegan/gluten free options -Need hooks in bedroom and bathroom, there was nowhere to hang things -The shower, which was right next to the toilet, didn’t have a curtain or door which meant there was water everywhere, and everything got wet

We chose this hotel as we wanted 24 hour check-in as our flight was landing very late. The hotel is very well positioned for Chania harbour, and also close to the the bus station which we were using for our onward journey. Our room was a superior double with city view on an upper floor. The room was on the top floor (5th) with an incredibly large balcony and views over Chania and down to the harbour and sea. The buffet breakfast had a wide selection. After we checked-out we were able to leave our bags in a baggage room. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our short stay at the Arkadi and would be more than happy to return.

We stayed in room 103 facing the square so could see the hustle, and bustle of Chania, for one night only. The hotel were kind enough to allocate us a lower floor room, which we asked for and due to my wife's vertigo. The room itself was minimalist, but comfortable and had good air-conditioning. And the breakfast,next morning was exceptional with lots of choice. The reception staff were also professionally friendly with one gentleman who we nicknamed Bruno Fernadez,standing out for extra praise.

Not so much not liking but the good sized balcony had a couple of comfortable chairs, but no table to put things on, which we thought was strange 🤔

- everything! - personnel was so so nice, extremely helpful in guiding us through excursions, booking them for us, helping us with busses. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great stay! - location was great, just next to the old city Center but far enough that we don't lose all our sleep. - 2 min walk from the central bus station - breakfast was really good, a lot of choices and homemade dishes

The location is excellent, just a few meters from Chania Old Town and the Venetian Harbour, you can easily access Chania's main attractions in a short amount of time. Staff is very friendly, kind and helpful and did everything they could to help, including offering to change room to one with a shower with a door. Breakfast is good, served in a large, airy space.

The rooms are small (it was probably the smallest room I've ever stayed in Europe). Even though I booked a superior room, it didn't feel superior, apart from the big balcony that could be reduced to make a more comfortable space. My main issue was the shower: it had no door, glass or curtain to cover so it was impossible to shower without wetting the floor. Staff was very helpful and sent cleaners to our room to dry the floor every day. To be fair, it has happened in other hotels in Crete but this was the worst. I really don't understand how hotels can project showers like this, it's insane!

The location was great, right near the bus station and right off the old city. Everything was walking distance. zThe staff, especially Effi and Michael, were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was large and good. The room was large enough and the balcony was a great addition.

Not enough hooks, for drying towels and hanging bathrobes. The shower was great but water sprayed out of it. There were no products - tissues. body lotion, shower cap etc. We had to buy everything.

I am delighted we chose the Arkadi Hotel for our stay. We were visiting Crete to celebrate my partner's birthday, so the very polite staff at reception noticed that and upgraded us to a better room with an amazing terrace view. Besides that on the actual date, we received a piece of cake up to our room. This is a remark about the hotel's values and understanding of true hospitality. Moreover, the hotel has a great interior and location. It felt boutique and Scandinavian, the room was clean and functionally well-designed and the breakfast was nice as well. I would definitely recommend and will probably visit again next summer.
