The property was amazing. The room was incredibly spacious, well decorated, and spotless. Fantastic shower, comfy bed, and plenty of storage room for our clothes, and belongings. The location was incredible, within 5 minutes of literally everything in old town. Our host Sotiris was fantastic, and made our stay all the more welcome. He gave us a lot of helpful information about chania and western Crete, and recommended many wonderful restaurants and locations to visit. He also helped us obtain a rental car for a good price with one of the local companies. I will be recommending this place to many friends and family who plan on visiting Crete.

Everything was perfect, probably one of our best experiences staying somewhere on holiday. The only possible disadvantage was the lack of parking, however, that is a problem of Chania as a whole. If you want somewhere to park your rental car, you’ll have to stay somewhere outside of old town.

It was one of the best decision to book our stay here in this cute BNB. The location is spot on - right in the middle of the old town - just outside the door you will find multiple restaurants. Location couldn’t be better. The air Bnb also has tie up with neighboring restaurants to offer breakfast at discounted rates. The room was very clean. And had all facilities available. The best was the host. Sotos ensures that you are not alone in Chania - he will help you with everything - from what to do - to where to go. Sotos makes the experience even more beautiful. He’s one of the best hosts I have ever come across in my travelling experience. He went out of his way to help us with the multiple doubts we had regarding how to spend our time in chania. You should book this stay without any doubts on the fact that it would be the best decision !

Beautiful and comfortable house in the historical center of Chania.The location is perfect, this may be the best place to stay if you want to visit the west part of Crête. From the house you can visit the old town and also go to the beach by walk. The room was very clean, typically decorated and we even had some local welcome gifts. It had everything we needed. I want to espcially thanks our host, Sotiris. He helped us all along our journey in Crête, advising us for the best places to visit, the best beaches to see and a lot of very good restaurants. He also helped us to rent a car. You will feel like home in this place.

Charming property and amazing host Where to start? The location is really central and you have everything you need around (pharmacies near by, a store that is opened past 23 o’clock, lots of restaurants and boutiques for souvenirs 2 min away). The property is very charming, it has lots of personality, the colors and the design are very relaxing. It has AC, which is a big help during hot summer nights. And the host is absolutely next level. It is hands down the most welcoming and helpful host I have ever interacted with. He helped us with an early check-in as we had the flight early in the morning, he helped us with printing our flights tickets, he helped us with recommendations for car rental services, beaches, streets where to search for parking - providing even a little map made by himself to help navigating them, restaurants near by the beaches we visited. Regarding restaurant recommendations - he recommended us one of the most interesting and impressive restaurants we have ever been to, so his recommendations are for sure to be trusted. Breakfast is served at a restaurant near-by and is very big and tasty. You pay at the property and you receive some vouchers that you hand in at the restaurant, Sotiris will guide you there. So hands down one of the best stays, the host makes it a 11/10.

The building is an old building, which is nice because it gives it a certain charm, but the sound isolation is not bullet proof, so in case you stay at the ground floor, you might hear some noise from the restaurants around. It usually fades away at around 23 and if you close all the blinds, they also offer some sound isolation. Not a major problem, just a mention to keep in mind and not be surprised.

We absolutely loved our stay! The room was charming and full of character — so picturesque and beautifully clean and fresh. The location couldn’t have been better, right in the heart of the old town with everything just around the corner. A true gem!

Ideally situated to explore Chania. Lovely, quirky apartment with a cute terrace. Sotiris, the owner, was great to talk to and couldn't have been more generous and helpful. He is also a great facilitator to get trips and taxis organised. Would definitely stay again.

WiFi availability is an issue on the terrace, but Sotiris is aware and is trying to get it sorted out.

The room was perfect for a solo traveler. Perfect location in the old city. Despite the busy location, it was surprisingly quiet at night once the dinner run was over. I loved the staircase separating the little kitchen/bathroom area from the bedroom/living room. The room was spotless, and the decorations were cheerful. Internet worked well. The very best part of the property was the host, Sotiris, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He bent over backwards to help me figure out tours, find restaurants, and plan my stay. He was always available in person for a couple of hours each morning and afternoon, and responded immediately when I made the initial (very last minute!) booking.

My room was on the ground floor and was not very light, and there was no balcony. But after days in the sun, I found that I didn’t mind returning to my comfortable cool space!

Wonderful host and excellent location just on the edge of the old city. We had a nice room with a little terrace!

The stairs to the bed loft are very narrow and steep. Not a problem for us but not a good spot for people with any mobility issues.

Sotiris is very nice, kind, warm person & he helped a lot; explained everything; definitely felt home & safe. The Casa della Favola Hotel is in Old Town, quite place & close to all nice walking street & gift shops, in close walking distance. My room was nice, high ceilings; kitchen, bathroom all good and new. I am sure I will visit and stay again.

We ate out all the time but if you. wanted to cook your own food there wasn't the facility.
