The location is fantastic and the room is located in the middle of old town. It is well insulated so not a lot of noise comes in through the busy streets. If you want to do excursions within the city of Chania and you do not have a car - this could not be a better location. The prices are fantastic if you book in advance and very reasonable for the area.

The room is fairly small and the patio provided, while present, does not have any view of the street or outside. The WiFi is very poor so if you want to do any work just be wary. Further, cell connectivity within the room is non-existent due to is location.

We stayed there from the 13th to the 15th of June and I can’t recommend this place enough. Everything about it was perfect. The location is unbeatable - tucked away on a quiet and charming street, yet just steps away from everything you might need: shops, restaurants, bars. The room itself was immaculately clean and incredibly well-equipped with an ironing board, a coffee machine with complimentary Nespresso capsules and a blow dryer. Upon arrival, we found a bottle of cold water waiting in the fridge, along with juice, biscuits, and jam. They had also provided a small bottle of raki with two little shot glasses. Self check-in was incredibly easy. If you’re considering booking, I highly recommend choosing the double room with patio. It comes with its own private entrance, a table and two chairs for relaxing outside, and even a drying rack for wet swimsuits. A special thank you to Maria at reception. I had been looking for a safety pin and she went above and beyond, managing to find me an entire set in two different sizes. The stay was truly exceptional from start to finish.

Beautifully renovated property in the heart of Chania old town. It was down a quiet little alley so not noisy. Our room was gorgeous, the building is old but decor modern and very stylish. We had a lovely terrace and hot tub. The bed was super comfy and there was everything we needed. Toiletries, coffee machine and treats all included. Maria and Nikos were a dream. Such lovely people who went out of their way to help with anything we needed. This was a gem of a find, such good value and we would highly recommend. Chania is stunning and we hope to return again soon.

The location was great. It was very central to shopping, the harbor, restaurants, etc. The room was very well-appointed. The bed was comfortable and the balcony was lovely.

To get into the shower you had to walk up three steps and it was very nerve-wracking stepping out of the shower and onto the stairs with wet feet. At the very least, they should install a handrail and put a non-slip texture on the stairs. Also, there was no staff except for a short while in mid-moring. I experienced a couple of issues and had to call them for help (but they were very responsive once I called.) It also would have been nice to be able to ask them for recommendations.

The location was great. At the end of a quiet little lane in the very centre of the Old Town. We had the room with the balcony, which was just lovely. Sympathetically renovated and furnished to a high standard, with a very useful kitchenette area. Fabulous shower. Would definitely book this property if we have the good fortune to visit Chania again.

This was nothing to do with Porto Vecchio, and we only noticed it on our second night, but there were two air conditioner units on a lower, adjacent roof top that were a little noisy. My husband wasn't at all disturbed by it, and I'm a light sleeper. I think it was only noticeable because this neighbourhood is SO quiet.

Amazing and spacious room with lovely view 2min away from the harbour.Spotless clean, comfy bed, small kitchenette with all equipment you need for few days. Bottle of water,juice and eve raki on the arrival, some sweets and bread/jams for breakfast free in the room. Great bathroom with towels changed every day, we even got slippers which was a nice surprise as this isnt huge hotel and yet they pay attention to every detail to make you feel comfortable.Very easy check-in, great contact with host, we enjoyed our stay and can trully recommend this exceptional place! Its a gem in Old Town!

The staff were so welcoming and accomodating, providing us with recommendations for dinner and assisting with booking a taxi to the airport. The rooms were fantastic! Air conditioning was great during hot days, beds were so comfortable and all facilities clean and spacious. Such a lovely touch having free snacks and drinks in the room upon arrival. Great location, walking distance to the port, shops, restaurants and beaches. We will definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone staying in Chania.

The location in the Old Town of Chania was superb. Porto Vecchio has been renovated to a high standard and all done very tastefully. There are lots of restaurants and bars around. We met the Mother and Daughter of the owners, they were so helpful and friendly. It was a comfortable room with everything ideal for a short stay. Recommend highly.

My family and I found that place an absolute gem! We couldn't recommend it enough. First of all the place is so nicely decorated and clean I loved every detail in the room and the big windows that you can feel the heart of Chania. Great location. We chose the place to be close to the centre and enjoy the night life after our day trips around the island. And all the shops cafes and restaurants are in the corner without giving you that noisy vibe of the centre. Also we made some great sleeps in there. The bed and the pillows were so nice and comfy. The room is fully equipped with everything you'll need. Loved it. Another thing we really wanted to point here is that hosts do matter and this family will prove it to you. Mrs Maria, Mr Kostas & their son are such great hosts. They are always available if you need them and happy to help you. We were travelling with our little daughter she is 2. Mrs Maria made it really special for her and she loved every moment. Thank you so much We are already making plans going again to Chania and we would choose again this place.

Perfect location close to everything in Chania, yet just off the loud streets and alleyways to keep it a quiet spot. There is a wonderful restaurant, Argo, just out the front door that is a great spot for lunch and dinner in the off season. The owners were amazing. Very much invested in ensuring my stay was perfect. You can tell they take pride in their property and the satisfaction of their guests.

The mini split system seemed to turn off on its own once a day around midnight and the WiFi was not super strong, but both were more than adequate.
