Great location, friendly and diligent staff, great breakfast

Room was not so quiet. It was located next to the closet where cleaning gear and supplies are kept. That meant some banging door noises in the morning. Room was also a few steps up from entrance door which would not always close fully and the automatic latch system would not catch and make loud clicking noise until someone (me) closed the door fully. This was most disruptive at night as you can imagine.

Wonderful hotel, at a very nice location of old town of Chania. Rooms are spacious , very clean and the staff is very polite and helpful. I would definitely choose this Hotel again , and for sure i would recommend it to my friends.

Nothing negative...

We loved everything about this property! The decor, breakfast, location, the bathroom - double size claw foot tub! At the last minute, we succumbed to Bookings suggestion to upgrade for a slightly higher charge and are glad we did. The breakfast buffet was impressive (chocolate cake for breakfast? Yes!) A word of warning if you’re driving - don’t follow Google map driving instructions. you will end up in a dead end lined on both sides with so many cars and scooters that you will be lucky to back out without losing your entire security deposit (thank you kind stranger for helping and no thank you to the old woman who decided to stand there and yell at us) Instead - route yourself to the parking at Talos Square on the water by the fortress and walk from there. Also - if dragging suitcases - don’t follow the shortest walking path - you’ll be dragging your stuff down the romantic stairs. It is much easier and flatter to follow the sidewalk around the old harbor to Kondilaki Street and then take a right on Zampeliou (Look for the Starbucks) The check-in is just a few yards down on your right.

if one were to get picky, you could say there is no view. we didn’t noticed because we were so comfortable in the room and were only there for one night and we were exhausted by the time we arrived.

Great location , quiet room overnight despite location in centre , regularly cleaned , very friendly staff , nice breakfasts

Shower room needs a bit attention to feel new again

The location is great. In the heart of Old Chania. Fantastic restaurant next door. Easy to go anywhere in Old Chania, close to the Market and need the town easy to go to local shops and restaurants. Many restaurants to go to a reasonable prices. The people working here are friendly and welcoming. Morning staff for breakfast are great. The breakfast spread is amazing something for everyone. Rooms are small and so is the bathroom. Yet this is expected in Old Chania.

The only negative was the bed and pillows.

Breakfast: orange juice seemed to be mixed in half with water yikes, the food is very average. I don't recommend ordering breakfasts here.

A wonderful small hotel with a fab buffet breakfast in a fab location just 1 mins walk from the harbour front. Perfect!

Everything was wonderful

As others have said before, the breakfast is fantastic and I also really liked the small roof deck.

The bathroom/shower was very small.

Small hotel in one of the narrow streets of the old town, very central but not too noisy. I travelled alone, and felt very much at home in my comfortable room with a cute balcony. Great breakfast!

The location is perfect , the staff is very helpful , the room is clean and specious . Elia Hotels is my favourite place in chania , this was my 7th stay in their hotels
