The rooms are located very conveniently in front of the main bus station of Chania. The windows had a great isolation from the outside so there was barely any noise from the traffic or buses (although it is something to consider if you are highly sensitive). The rooms were super close to the city center and the port, including restaurants, bakeries, and supermarkets nearby. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, always trying to accommodate our needs. The rooms were cute and clean. We would definitely recommend the place!

Everything was perfect. The only small thing I would point out is that if you plan to sleep in, there is usually quite a bit of noise in the morning from housekeeping and guests coming and going and talking loudly.

Also thank you to the lovely cleaning lady whom made sure that everyday we had fresh everything. 😊 But what truly set Dome Rooms Downtown apart was the exceptional hospitality. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. Their attention to detail and genuine care made us feel like valued guests. Dome Rooms Downtown is more than just a place to stay; it's an experience. It's the perfect blend of modern comfort, traditional charm, and exceptional hospitality. The room was large and clean, with everything you need for a stay, perfect location, huge and comfortable bed.

I didn't like the fact that you couldn't leave the air conditioning on if you left the room, so when you returned the room was very hot and it took a while to cool down. Also, unrelated to the accommodation, we had a quiet hours policy and unfortunately we had noisy neighbors. In room 3, there were some girls having fun at 1 in the morning and in room 1, there was a couple who argued loudly almost every night while we were staying there, slamming doors and yelling at 2 in the morning... but again, this is not related to the accommodation, it's just a matter of luck whether you come across considerate neighbors or not.

Close to KTel bus station. Very comfortable king size bed, nice size room.

Fridge was too small, especially the freezer box. The toilet is located in the shower cubicle. There is enough room for it but the glass screen only goes up 2 meters and there is a big gap at the top so one’s privacy when using the toilet is very restricted. Lots of traffic noise. Quite a few stairs. No code was given to access our key box - there is no reception, everything is done by email at the last minute which means you need data on your phone or else you will no be able to get in.

Location in the heart of the centre, sort walking distance to the central bus station. Arrived by taxi after a delayed flight late but advised the staff, we were handled superbly with access to the large spacious bedroom. Tea and coffee, superb walk in shower. Huge comfy bed and side bed for our daughter, we were simply talking the room for the night with a late flight, but had we stayed for a weekend in Chania it would have served us well. Very clean, very comfy beds, just started our holiday on such a positive note.

Nothing to dislike, just be advised that the one single flight of stairs is steep to the rooms, but there is a solid handrail.

Excellent location, at walking distance from all the interesting points of the town (including the old port). Good wi-fi, beautiful furniture, comfortable bed, coffee and plenty of amenities in the room. Really excellent value for money. I did not meet the owners but I got very clear instructions on how to get the card to the room, and very quick and clear communication every time I sent a message to the owners.

It did not bother me but it is important to know: There is a steep set of stairs to reach the rooms, so if you have difficulties with stairs keep it in mind. It was a bit challenging to work in the room as there was no proper desk and chair but it was clear from the photos, so I went there prepared.

The stairs are alot if you have loads of cases it is difficult and tiring. The bathroom could need abit more maintenance where the glass is where the plastic is at the bottom where it collects water, and it would be nice if you gave 2 pillows instead of 1. Otherwise the room was fine . If anybody rents a car it very difficult for carpark

Nice and modern property. Bottle of water provided. Daily housekeeping, good water pressure in the shower (we had an issue with this before in Falassarna). Right opposite the main bus station, and walking distance to the main walking districts around the sea. Lots of travel agencies around that help with tours to Balos/elafonisi

Everything was nice, apart from getting some small brown ants around the tables on the last 2 days. Also no windows with views, one window opens above the bed and one tiny window in the bathroom.

It is located just a few minutes of walk from the city center. Although a large bus stop was front of the apartment, the room remained quiet all the time. The interior of the apartment was modern and very clean. The staff was kind and we even used the recommended private transfer from the airport for our great satisfaction.

Our double bed was actually two single beds pushed next to each other. The kitchen corner lacks such basic equipments like plates or mugs.

Opposite the bus station only one minute walk yet the place was quiet. It was convenient for any day trips or going to the beach. The place was very clean everyday. We had no complaints. The host responds quickly to messages.

Steep staircase leading to the rooms with no railings, just walls on both sides. It didn’t bother me at all but if you have mobility issues this might be a problem. Or if you plan to get drunk, it might be a potential safety issue coming back to sleep.
