We had a fantastic stay at Samaria, and it was so kind of them to give us a room upgrade for our honeymoon! The pool was gorgeous and the food was really good! Will definitely come again.

Exceptionally clean, wonderful staff- Bena was terrific with food recommendations and just anything you needed, location was absolutely perfect, truly the best place to stay in Chania.

Location, lovely helpful staff, needed another night and it was easy and uncomplicated to do.

I liked everything about it

The staff at Samaria hotel are truly exceptional. We had some particular needs, and they could not have been more attentive, kind, and delightful. The hotel is chic, extremely practical with everything thought of, and in an excellent location. We found the location next to the bus station particularly helpful for day trips. (And excellent glazing and the sound of the water from the pool meant that despite the central location with excellent transport, noise was never a problem.) The breakfast was also fantastic.

The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect, a 1 minute walk from Old Town but also quiet enough to be able to get some sleep at night without music blasting through! Pool and facilities were beautiful and the valet service really saved us from having to search for parking in crowded areas.

The team are absolutely wonderful. They provide a 6 star service and make you feel so at home. Every team member we came across was just wonderful. In particular, Maria, Despina and George went out of their way to make us feel welcome and genuinely part of their family during our stay. It was so unexpected and made us feel so relaxed and cared for, considering it was our first ever holiday as a family, with our 6 month old. Our room was perfect for our needs, having a little one, we had the space to relax and separate at bedtime. The pool facilities were wonderful too. Piano man on the evenings was a lovely touch too. Location was excellent for Old Town and not too far a walk to the local beaches. We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.

The staff are absolutely amazing! They helped us with recommendations and when my wife was not feeling well they even found us a doctor! The location is great as it is very close to the old harbour where you can find a lot of things to do. Breakfast was great as well as it had different things every day.

Each dish was prepared with care, making breakfast a highlight of my stay. **Check-In Experience:** I encountered an issue with my booking, which was not the hotel's fault. However, the staff went above and beyond to help me correct it. They offered me a glass of cold water and a comfortable couch while sorting out the issue. Their hospitality made the check-in process smooth and stress-free. **Front Desk Staff:** The front desk team was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. They provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and even helped book a trip to Loutro. Maria, in particular, was incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring all my needs were met. **Bellmen:** The bellmen were just as friendly and welcoming. Every day when we returned, they greeted us warmly, assisted with our vehicle, and offered recommendations for the next day's activities. Their friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. **Evening Entertainment:** After a night out on the town, which is conveniently only a few minutes away, we enjoyed the soothing sounds of piano music in the hotel's lounge. This added a touch of elegance and relaxation to our evenings. **Overall:** My stay at this hotel was fantastic. The combination of excellent service, delicious breakfast, and the friendly atmosphere created by both the front desk and bellmen staff made for an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay.

Everything was wonderful! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the pool was lovely, and the breakfast was the best included breakfast I’ve ever had. The room was comfortable, and the bed was, too. The experience staying here was wonderful, and I’d definitely stay here again!
