The breakfast was fresh, ample and varied. This is important as you have to spend around €40 each day (per couple) plus make the hike to the harbour just to get fed. The staff were excellent. Endlessly helpful, unfailingly friendly, very knowledgeable about the area, Chania, Crete and Greece generally. But also staffing the front door for huge numbers of hours. This really adds to your holiday experience unlike distance Air BnB and some Stayz.VRBO and similar platforms. Nothing is too much trouble and they try to help with anything.

The location of this hotel is perfect- you are in the old town, where you have a variety of restaurants, gift shops, also a few mini-markets (open until late evening). It is also at a walking distance (10-15min) to Nea Chora beach. Moreover we have found a very cool spot very near, where you can enjoy the sea. Even if you’re in the old town, the location is at walking distance (10-15min) to the new town’s center. The breakfast was very tasty and varied. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was cleaned each day, the air conditioning very useful.

We had a lovely stay at the Elia Palazzo hotel. It is in a perfect location in old town, close to all the shops, harbour and beach within walking distance. The room was very comfortable and clean with fresh towels daily. So much choice at breakfast and very friendly and accommodating staff. We will definitely be back!

Due to its location it can be quite noisy at night. Live music and people dining but the windows are very efficient at dulling the noise and it quietened down by midnight. It didn’t really bother us as we are used to living in a town but some people might find it hard to sleep.

Our location was perfect. It was in the town center, but still quiet at night because the window are soundproof. We had a room with a very small balcony, enough to stand on and look up and down the street, as well as the ocean. I had communicated with Lourakis while we were planning our visit and she was very quick to answer any questions I had, which was great! She , Georgia, and Donna were all very friendly, and always willing to help us out if necessary. The room was equipped with everything we needed except a coffee maker. I am one of those that likes coffee right away in the morning and I don’t go anywhere until I’ve had coffee! My husband just went downstairs each morning and got us each a cup. Everything else was just what we wanted, nice location, and a comfy room.

Nice hotel, good location in the old city of Chania, close to the old harbor. Nice, comfortable, clean room with balcony. Very nice and polite staff. Good quality breakfast with fresh fruits and plenty of food. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay in the city of Chania.

No window in the bathroom (not a big issue though), our towels and sheets were not changed during the 3 days we stayed. One of the mattresses was a bit dirty.

Everything! Location in old town on a charming street. Staff are amazing. Cooked breakfast in the dining nook was delish. Room is well appointed and very comfortable. Even had a little balcony with a view 10/10 - will stay here again.

Fabulous quiet location in the heart of beautiful Chania Harbour. Steps away from cafes, taverns, and beautiful shops. Chania City and Ktel bus/ coach depot only around a 10 mins walk away. Rooms were a nice size, which had a very comfortable large bed and pillows. No outside noise was heard in our room. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with a great variety to choose from. All staff members were extremely friendly, (Stelio, Ria and Maria) and very helpful assisting us, and giving us helpful advice and tips to make our holiday more enjoyable. Had a wonderful and memorable experience!! Sas Efxaristoume yia thn yperoxi FILOXENIA!! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!! 👌👌

The staff were amazing very friendly and helpful excellent location, very clean beds changed and towels, we had a room with a balcony so it was nice to sit and watch the tourists come and go. We both said when we come back we will stay here again, forgot to mention the breakfast was superb loads of choice both hot and cold it really set you up for the day.

Just one niggle we thought that one one coffee capsule per person per day was a bit stingy, but don't let this put you off the hotel and lovely staff more than make up for this.

We loved our stay at Elia Palazzo Hotel. The staff were really friendly and well informed. Maria cooked delicious breakfasts and the reception staff couldn’t have been more helpful The location was fantastic, situated on a relatively quiet street in the old town of Chania and very select. Access to the rest of the old town was superb with a fantastic array of restaurants and bars just a stone’s throw away. The room was good and very comfortable.

Occasionally there was noise from other local establishments, but possibility rentals and certainly not bars or restaurants which were calm and super and our room was in general insulated from noise.

All the staff was really helpful and the service impeccable. Evelina is the sweetest person you could meet and she prepared delicious breakfast. The staff at the reception were very gentle, kind and helpful. As soon as we arrived the gentleman at the reception took our luggages upstairs. They even allowed us to check-out an hour later without paying extra. The room was cleaned every day. The location is in a quiet road in the pedestrian zone of Chania and very close to the port, we could see the sea from our room. I would highly recommend this hotel.
