A charming apartment in a terrific location with a host, Despina, who is incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the balcony was delightfully draped in bougainvillea vines. There was consistent free parking available in a nearby lot, which was great because the closest lot was generally full.

My only problem with the apartment was the shower. The bathroom is compact which was fine. The shower,however, was quite small and the curtain would billow inwards while showering.

The location of the studios is perfect, hidden in the streets of the old town, so it's quiet, but very close to the busy area with restaurants and shops. We had a really lovely stay at Iason Studios, the place was really clean, comfy and well equipped. We also loved the beautiful balcony full of flowers, a very good place to start and end your day by sitting and relaxing there. We want to thank the staff and Despina for being a very lovely host and helping us with everything we needed. She helped us book a boat trip to Balos, which was very nice of her. I highly recommend this place!

Our host communicated with us by what's app to ensure she was there when we arrived out of hours .She helped us with booking excursions and a taxi as well as helping with a hire car and suggested things to do . The apartment was perfectly located and had air con as well as a large fan . There was a daily room service with fresh towels , a fridge , plus a fully functioning kitchenette.

nothing at all .it was quiet clean and well located.Pethaps in high season it may be a little less quiet as Tavernas are about 100m away

Despoina is a really nice, kind and helpful host! She’s recommended us a few tavernas and restaurants and they all were great! At the apartment you have everything you need to – cooker, fridge, toaster, coffee machine, air condition and balcony surronded by beautiful flowers. Also a localization is excellent – near to old harbour, old city and the beaches with sand (from one to twenty minutes you find everything I said before). It was a pleasure to stay at Iason Studios.

Our entire experience was made brighter by Despina's hospitality and graciousness throughout our stay. Most appreciated was that she helped us arrange a taxi for when we arrived at 9 pm, which felt late for us arriving in a city and country we have never been before. Our flight was an hour late, but still there was someone there to pick us up and take us to the accommodations. As a couple who are slow traveling for 5 months, we do not eat out every meal and love having accommodations with a kitchen. Though, in Chania, the restaurants and food are wonderful. Our accomodations had a lovely deck, comfortable large bed, a living room and a kitchen to put together a few meals. The location was perfect for exploring the old town minutes away though it is located in a quiet, lovely area.

On arrival Despina met us and greeted us warmly. The apartment is in a fabulous location, 10 mins walk to the nearest beach, 5 min walk to the old harbour, 20 seconds walk to the closest bar and restaurant. The apartment has everything you need for a holiday for two people an sitting on the balcony at night was a perfect end to the day. Although the apartment is situated in the old town you're tucked away down a quiet alley so there is hardly any noise at night. Despina helped us with an excursion to Samaria Gorge, when we asked for a recommendation she booked it for us and everything ran like clockwork. I highly recommend staying here if in Chania.

The temp numbers are rubbed off the knobs on the hob, this isn't a dislike as such..... it brought much hilarity to cooking the evening meal while we tried to work out the settings together.

Perfect location, in the heart of Chanias old town. Quiet at night. Bedding and towels changed daily. Very traditional apartment. Despina is very nice, helpful, and speaks great English.

The apartment is quite small which is probably my own fault when I booked it. It can get quite warm. It does have an aircon unit and a small balcony. It could benefit from a full-length mirror. Good value for what we paid.

I had the pleasure of staying at Iason Studios for 10 days in May/June 2024. My studio was perfect for one person, with a small kitchen, a spacious bedroom and a nice balcony facing the sweet little Aggelou street. The studio was thoroughly cleaned several times a week. Despina and her lovely son were the best! So welcoming and helpful for absolutely anything that I needed. The hotel is in a fabulous location, tucked away in a beautiful street but just a short walk to everything. Surprisingly quiet at night, for a place in between restaurants and bars. Functional and super clean rooms. Beautiful balcony with lots of flowers for a bit of privacy.

Furnishings are an older style but no issue for me. If mobility is an issue, there are some rooms up a few flights of stairs with no lift, so I'd ask for a room on a lower floor.

Everything was perfect. Since before the arrival the hostess, Despoina, got in touch with me for what I needed. She and her staff was really nice. She wasn't able to make it personally for personal reasons but, even though, she was all the time in touch. The studio was really quiet and cute and in just a few minutes you have the harbour. There was a little balcony, also cute.
