This has been my 10th trip to Greece and with no hesitation I can say that the experience my wife and I had in Casa Leone has been the best we've ever had! It's a top quality hotel with elegant, well-equipped rooms, with a great location right by the old Venetian port, and the view from our room's big terrace was simply spectacular by day and by night, which you can see in the photos attached! The staff, especially Olga, are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to support you with any questions. We enjoyed the served breakfasts, too. Highly recommended!

No disadvantages that I can think of. The bathroom is not particularly spacious, but that's because an old, historic building has its limitations.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful — We want to sincerely thank each and every one of them. The hotel was spotless, cozy, and very welcoming. One of the highlights was the beautiful view overlooking the port and the sea — you can even see the sunrise, which was absolutely breathtaking. What really stood out was how thoughtful the team was. They helped us arrange a taxi whenever we needed, and on the day we checked out (very early in the morning), they even prepared sandwiches, snacks, and juice for us to take with us. That level of care and attention really made a difference. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and thoughtful stay. Would definitely come back again!

The setting of this hotel is magnificent - an old Venetian palace authentically decorated, with a direct balcony and view onto the Old Harbour. Perfect location for discovering the city. The staff were wonderful, the breakfast perfect.

Beware if you're a light sleeper ! During the summer months different bands play in the Old Harbour. On our last night we had a rock band (not exaggerating) blaring so loudly over the entire Old Harbour that we couldn't hear ourselves talk over our meal and sleep was given up on. Of course it ends eventually but the point is the entire magical atmosphere of the Old Harbour is completely ruined. You're better off staying the in pretty back streets away from the racket !

We liked the location in the quieter part of the harbor, and the fact that there were only 5 rooms. It seems like a family run place. The view from our little terrace was beautiful.

We stayed the first week in February and we were the only guests the whole time. Breakfast was not served during our stay. In fact we were all alone in the hotel and only saw an owner/receptionist twice, once at check in and once for an hour mid day doing paper work. They were very friendly but it was rather a strange experience to be all alone in the hotel for a week. It was rather dark and cold. Our room which had the sleep loft was hard to heat. Overall it was a nice stay though.

The location was perfect for the historic town, bars cafes and boat trips. The hotel is a beautiful Venetian property and our room had a Juliette balcony overlooking the harbour. The team at the hotel could not have done more for us. They met us from the taxi to take us through the pedestrian area to the hotel. They made us feel very welcome throuout our stay and made a delicious breakfast.

We were very happy with everything but would note that our bedroom was on a mezzanine floor which may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues, so check the room details before booking.

Everything was great about the property the location in the amazing old part of town. The host was very polite and accommodating. You felt like you’re in a big old house all by yourself. I think other people were staying there, but I never saw them. You didn’t feel like you were in a hotel. You felt more like a guest house. I know it was off-season. That’s probably why I didn’t see many people, but everything was in walking distance from shops to restaurants you couldn’t ask for more. I would highly recommend this place.

Bathroom is a little small, but all of that not much to complain about

The location was amazing. It was great being right in old town Chania. The daily breakfast was a treat and an added bonus to the stay. The room we stayed in was large, with a sitting area below and bed up the stairs. The victorian furniture, while charming, does not make the most comfortable place to relax, but that was expected based on the photos in the listing. All the amenities were provided! - tea, coffee, water in the fridge, all the toiletries in the bathroom. Very happy with our choice to stay here!

Olga, the staff member who fed us breakfast, our first morning was incredibly helpful and friendly. She gave us great recommendations for hiking and even reserved our cab to start the hike! The next morning, we had to leave early, so she left us breakfast in our room the night before and made us lunch to take with us as well. This was truly some of the best service we have had. You couldn't ask for a better staff experience at a nice place to stay. The room was well equipped and lovely to stay in, and the views were fantastic. Two thumbs up!

Our room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was small but the water pressure is great for such an old property. We definitely would have upgraded to a water-view room if one had been available, but there was a balcony in the common area that we took advantage of when we wanted to. The location is perfect-walking distance to Nea Chora, right on the harbor, close to great restaurants and all our tour meetups. Breakfast was extensive and the dining room lovely. Olga was so sweet and helpful. When we had a tour start before breakfast, she prepared us a breakfast the night before along with sandwiches for the trip.

The WiFi was very slow (streaming and video calling were not possible), but that was perfectly fine for a short stay where neither of us had to work.

The location of this hotel is great. Restaurants and boutiques are a stones throw away. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast each morning was very good. There is no parking as this part of the city is not open to vehicles, but you can park nearby on the street. Room and hotel lobby area was clean and well kept.

The shower in the bathroom is very small. I am a tall person and it was pretty much impossible to reach down to wash my feet. The room was very nice, but unfortunately we had no view as our window was on the side and there was a terrace with people on it, so we pretty much needed to keep the curtains closed most of the time.
