Breakfast: Quality local produce. Good choice of fruit, cheese, cold meats, yogurt etc. Great coffee. Set in beautiful shady courtyard. Exceptional. Room: Large bright room with good shower and comfortable bed. Storage a little scarce. Location: An authentic old Greek building, beautifully restored. Set in one of the most magnificent old streets in Chania. Friendly: Helpful and friendly staff from booking to checkout. Thanks to Maria who helped when flight delayed and Salem and Katrina who looked after us so well.

Unbeatable location in the old town and less than a minute from the Venetian harbour. Close to everything, including some great restaurants and a bar with live music, but quiet enough at night to sleep well. Amazing breakfast spread every day, one of the best we’ve had anywhere. Friendly service and a clean, beautifully decorated hotel. Loved the gorgeous terrace and courtyard.

It wasn’t too convenient having reception separate to the breakfast area but it wasn’t a problem either. There was some clanging one night but I think this is usual when in an old building.

We loved Hotel Off and the staff. They were excellent and couldn't do enough for us. So helpful. A real bonus was the minibar being free and refilled daily. The courtyard for breakfast was beautiful as was the homemade treats provided to start the day. Loved this place.

Our room was a bit smaller, but it still worked. One wee issue in that the shower didn't drain quickly which saw a bit of a flood the first morning. Just to be aware of.

Hotel Off is a beautiful hotel located right in the old Town of Chania, by the port. Excellent location for walking around, shopping and enjoying all the cafes and restaurants Chania has to offer. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the property’s courtyard and rooftop area. The room was clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. We slept very well after our travels. And the breakfast is absolutely wonderful. The staff was welcoming and also extremely helpful in providing information during our stay and helping us to book taxis. Can’t say about good things about our stay! Only wish we had stayed longer!

Beautiful hotel in the Old Town of Chania. Just a short distance back from the harbour, but very quiet at night - very little street noise and no noticeable noise from bars etc. Rooms were absolutely beautiful and spacious and the roof garden has lovely views of the Old Town. After dark the surrounding streets look like something from a fairytale - absolutely beautiful. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing. Not cheap, but it was a special treat for our last night in Crete. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect

Perfect little hotel in the old city, but really nicely renovated old townhouse with all modern amenities, comfortable and super nice breakfast in the courtyard. One of the best stays in the Chania old town and I had been in many places there.

The hotel should update the address, because the street is so small that doesnt even show up in Google maps and also the reception is actually on the corner with a larger street; so you arrive in the entrance and you dont find any reception. After this initial negative experience, everything else was perfect.

We had an amazing stay. Maria was incredibly friendly and welcoming, reaching out even before we arrived. The room was superb—spacious with a lovely bathroom and a cozy sofa. The area is stunning, just a short walk from the port, and the rooftop view is breathtaking! The atmosphere was serene, making it easy to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Maria ensured we had the entry codes for our late arrival and checked on us every morning, which was a nice touch. The breakfast was delightful, with a lovely display and fresh orange juice to kick off the day. Overall, we loved our time here and would definitely recommend it!

We stayed for 1 night at this lovely hotel right in the old town of Chania. The room for 3 people was large, with a nice bathroom and toiletries provided and breakfast included which was delicious! Lots of different things to choose from and ate outside in the pretty courtyard. The staff were helpful and friendly and stored our luggage whilst we explored the city the following morning. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return for longer next time!

We loved our stay here in Chania. If you like being close to the venetian port, this location is ideal. We parked the car at the old factory and wheeled the cases to the hotel for two nights. The room was well laid out (with steps, might be tricky with mobility issues). It overlooked two gardens although we mostly had blinds drawn to keep it cool. Air conditioner worked well. There were plenty of complementary drinks in the fridge. The shower was really powerful. They also have a beautiful roof garden with a beautiful view of the port. Breakfast was a major highlight for us, several types of eggs, sourdough bread, pastries, delicious cakes, yoghurts etc, which was enjoyed in the shaded courtyard. Our host, Maria, was welcoming and helpful with travel advice. Everything is walkable along the colourful lanes in Chania. If we return, we will definitely be staying here.

This was an experience to be had. I chose this property to be close to the "parking" area in Chania as well as Old Town/Port Chania. The property has been beautifully renovated from a 1300 century building. When you enter the gates to the property, you are greeted by a fabulous and serene courtyard. The rooms and bathrooms are immaculate, clean, comfortable, large, and air conditioned. Decorated with beautiful antique furnishings, one feels they are back centuries ago yet are with all the modern day comforts and convenience and amenities. It has a most lovely rooftop area for relaxing and stargazing. Although we were near a jazz bar, there was no loud music or sounds to disturb you. The street the property is on is a charming cobblestoned street, which was also well lit in the evening. The walk from the parking area (Talos Square) was only 5 minutes and the walk to Old Port Chania was less than 5 minutes as well. The concierge (Emily ?) was most professional, courteous, and helpful providing recommendations for the area. I wish we could have stayed longer to experience this most magical place.
