This was an experience to be had. I chose this property to be close to the "parking" area in Chania as well as Old Town/Port Chania. The property has been beautifully renovated from a 1300 century building. When you enter the gates to the property, you are greeted by a fabulous and serene courtyard. The rooms and bathrooms are immaculate, clean, comfortable, large, and air conditioned. Decorated with beautiful antique furnishings, one feels they are back centuries ago yet are with all the modern day comforts and convenience and amenities. It has a most lovely rooftop area for relaxing and stargazing. Although we were near a jazz bar, there was no loud music or sounds to disturb you. The street the property is on is a charming cobblestoned street, which was also well lit in the evening. The walk from the parking area (Talos Square) was only 5 minutes and the walk to Old Port Chania was less than 5 minutes as well. The concierge (Emily ?) was most professional, courteous, and helpful providing recommendations for the area. I wish we could have stayed longer to experience this most magical place.

We had an amazing stay. Maria was incredibly friendly and welcoming, reaching out even before we arrived. The room was superb—spacious with a lovely bathroom and a cozy sofa. The area is stunning, just a short walk from the port, and the rooftop view is breathtaking! The atmosphere was serene, making it easy to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Maria ensured we had the entry codes for our late arrival and checked on us every morning, which was a nice touch. The breakfast was delightful, with a lovely display and fresh orange juice to kick off the day. Overall, we loved our time here and would definitely recommend it!

Perfect little hotel in the old city, but really nicely renovated old townhouse with all modern amenities, comfortable and super nice breakfast in the courtyard. One of the best stays in the Chania old town and I had been in many places there.

The hotel should update the address, because the street is so small that doesnt even show up in Google maps and also the reception is actually on the corner with a larger street; so you arrive in the entrance and you dont find any reception. After this initial negative experience, everything else was perfect.

We loved our stay here in Chania. If you like being close to the venetian port, this location is ideal. We parked the car at the old factory and wheeled the cases to the hotel for two nights. The room was well laid out (with steps, might be tricky with mobility issues). It overlooked two gardens although we mostly had blinds drawn to keep it cool. Air conditioner worked well. There were plenty of complementary drinks in the fridge. The shower was really powerful. They also have a beautiful roof garden with a beautiful view of the port. Breakfast was a major highlight for us, several types of eggs, sourdough bread, pastries, delicious cakes, yoghurts etc, which was enjoyed in the shaded courtyard. Our host, Maria, was welcoming and helpful with travel advice. Everything is walkable along the colourful lanes in Chania. If we return, we will definitely be staying here.

My stay at Hotel OFF in Chania was amazing! The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old town, making it easy to explore the area and enjoy the local vibe. The rooms were beautifully designed, clean, and very comfortable, with modern amenities while still maintaining a charming, historic feel. The breakfast was a highlight—delicious, with fresh, local ingredients served on a lovely terrace. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chania!

Difficult to find a parking Spot in hot season

This is a small and friendly hotel. It is located on a quiet side street near the fortress, and about 50m away from the harbor and the main walking road. The rooms are spacious amd renovated, and the hotel has multiple terases to chill-out. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and sometimes you have a feeling you are visiting friends. The Breakdast is superb - they prepare it from local products only, looks good and its also very tasty. I usually dont write reviews, but this time I simply have to recommend the hotel!

There is nothing that we didnt like. We were expecting to have challenges with the parking, but it turned out we could always find a public (and free) parking slot on the street below the fortress and by the sea, which is a 3 min walk to the hotel.

Room was squeaky clean. The high ceiling increases space a lot compared to a standard hotel room. So while we were three adults in the room, we felt we had ample space. Breakfast had a variety of offerings and all were fresh and tasty. Good range of options for gluten/lactose-intolerant people. Decaf coffee also available. Location was perfect. While the streets around the hotel are beautiful and lively the room windows shut all the noise out when closed. So don't worry about that. Maria and Aristea at reception gave us some tips for the trip. I.e. Where to go and what to see. We followed their advice and we are very happy we did so.

The hotel is lovely. There is nothing not to like. The staff are friendly and attentive. Our twin room was a nice size. The soundproofing was amazing. It was silent at night. The stocked mini bar and kettle were a welcome addition after a day sightseeing. The communal sitting areas were a welcome oasis. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The freshly squeezed orange juice was so refreshing.

There is nothing that you could find fault with

I loved how cute this hotel is! There are TWO terrace area to sit and relax. The rooftop is beautiful! I enjoyed coming here and watching the port while journaling and reading. The room was very clean. The location was fantastic! Very walkable and central to everything. The breakfast every morning was delicious. The staff was so helpful, they went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. They answered all of our questions and made sure we felt at home. I really loved this cute hotel. It wasn't fancy. The rooms were very basic. It was very quaint and cute.

The location was very central, but still retained it's privacy. The staff were incredibly nice, helpful and friendly. There is a nice and tasty selection of breakfast, all locally sourced. The room had a very nice layout that was cozy yet spacious.

The bed is not as comfy as others we've slept in. It's a personal preference, the pillows are more on the firm side. The shower door opens ans closes a bit odd. It is an accordion/fan style instead of the usual slide/push/pull door. The little knobs on the shower were really difficult to grasp when wet and thus getting out was a bit challenging at times.
