A simple but very nice hotel. It is equipped with everything you would need such as air conditioner, warm water and a simple bed. The rooms are spacious enough to offer extra space for suitcases and such but the best part about this hotel is the staff. Amazing staff! Nicos that welcomed us when we arrived were so warm, welcoming and helpful. We got lots of advice about places to visit, the best transport, places to eat etcetera. I would go as far as to say that this hotel is worth a visit just to have a chat with Nicos. Thank you for your hospitality! Regards from Sweden 👋🏽🇸🇪

For the hidden old hotel with slightly shabby looks on the outside and in the very "classic" foyer, I was surprised by the clean and well equipped rooms, where I did not miss anything really. The staff/family was very kind and helpful in providing the advice. The reception coverage is limited, but we were able to find a reasonable arrangement for all that we needed. We were offered a luggage storage room on the final day, after the check-out. For that price and quite close to the center of the town as well as walking distance to the bus station, it was a good accommodation during a short two-night stay, for someone who'll spend most of the time outdoor exploring the town.

The room has windows to the street, nothing spectacular to look at outside. We decided to keep the windows open, to be able to breathe (Crete/Chania is hot), although one needs to count on some noise from the streets and use the earplugs. The bathroom had an old look, but all necessary worked fine.

Great place to stay in Chania. Is a little outside of the old town but we liked this as it wasn't super busy and felt like we were experiencing the local area better. The staff at the hotel were so friendly with great English and they were very interested in helping us and also remembered us each day. Although the room we had was a little small, the friendliness of the staff, the making up of the rooms, and the overall vibe more than made up for this. We also had a small balcony which overlooked the street and had a washing line to hang our togs. The hotel is also only about a 7-8 minute walk from the bus station.

Tina Hotel is centrally located, close to markets, cafés, and the charming old town of Chania. But what truly made our experience special was Nikos, the owner. He is kind and helpful, always providing us with information and advice on where to go, how to get there…. We stayed for 4 nights, spending most of our days exploring the island, and every time we returned, our room was spotless. We’ll remember him always with his smile. Thank you :-)

Lovely and helpful familydriven hotel. Nikos gelped me check bus schedules, call me a cab and weigh my luggage before departure. Cheap hotel - don't have high expectations and you'll be fine. Quiet out of season. The room was cleaned every day. Easy check in/check out. Room had a good size with a double bed, nightstand, table and stwo chairs, mini fridge, close and safe. Bathroom was small but functional. The room had a balcony with chairs and table.

Bed is hard, but that's usual for many greek hotel like this, so It was expected. If you're a light sleeper you might hear the guest snoring next door as the doors are thin and not sound proof.

The balcony was big. The location was central. The room was well maintained and clean and quiet for the center. The night host was super friendly and helpful. Fine place for an overnight sleep to catch the bus in the morning.

The shower was strange and not easy to get in and out of. The toilet didn't flush properly unless you really put in some effort.

Good place to stay in Chania! In short: 1. Host is the greatest host in the world. He is super friendly, gave us all the information we needed. We felt so welcome and all our needs and requests were met by him with so much kindness and his recommendations were extremely helpful for us! 2. Apartment: - great located with everything in walking distance: bus station, old town, supermarket, restaurants, shops etc. 3. Others: we arrived at the hotel after 23:00, but it wasn’t a problem at all. He sent us so detailed instructions where was key, how could find it etc. Everything was without stress!

General friendliness and convenience. It is not a bland tourist hotel. The room was large with a big bed, a desk and a balcony.

Like many greek hotels it is a bit old fashioned, but that's part of its charm. Nevertheless it could do with a facilities refresh. However that is unlikely to happen in the current economic climate.

The position is very good and the staff is amazing! Kind and welcoming staff, I really enjoyed my stay

The owner was very helpful with late check-in because of delayed flight arrival and information about local area and places in Crete. Hotel is only 5 minutes walk from old town. Highly recommend.
