Comfort beds ; mattress/pillows, this is essential to me since I have hard time to sleep especially when traveling away from my home conformities including a mattress and pillows. I loved them and certainly I was able to sleep without worrying that the quality of the mattress and the pillows does not meet my needs. Moreover, it was nice to have steady-wall placed hand soap and lotion allowing space for me to place my personal toothpaste, additionally in the shower tub there was in the same way steady-on- wall shampoo and shower jell which made me feel secure to use and enjoy my shower without stress being able to enjoy the whole process of a shower closing my eyes and feel the water cleaning all stressful thoughts that only a comfort of a hotel can provide to enjoy every single moment during all days and nights of my trip to Rhodes.

I am a bilingual individual with a dual citizenship, with that in mind , I prefer that both of my identities to be treated equally no matter which status do I present. Since, I am profoundly proud to be born and raised accepting both cultures and countries of my origins , I do expect to be treated in the same way without biased expressions lightly spiced with behaviors that do not match the whole beauty and professionalism. After all, we all share the same planet!

Location was fantastic. Had the most amazing sea view. The room was cleaned immaculately everyday with clean towels. The bed was gorgeous and the pillows were the most comfortable ever! Opposite ‘windy beach’ which is essential in July as it was the perfect breeze to deal with the heat🥵🤩

No facility to charge drinks to the room from the pool or hotel bar? Very old fashioned not to be able to? The pool bar was often closed at 5.30pm even though it said it was open until 6pm. Small step from room to bathroom in our room was so dangerous and couldn’t be seen resulting in stubbed toes every day!! Need to put some tape or something down so it can been seen! Rooms are very small as are the balconies- but the view made up for it!

Very good location, near to both west (windy) and east (less windy) beaches on the tip of Rhodes. Easy walk to old town. Lots of local places to eat on way to town, and also in town too. Beds comfy although I must be in a minority of people who go to hotels as I do not like the pillows in most places and this was no exception! Otherwise, a comfortable hotel close to all the things one would want to do. Reception staff were very helpful.

Breakfast was mediocre - poor coffee, poor juice, standard canteen cooked breakfast. I saw this comment on a hotel I stayed in before and thought ‘how petty’ but it’s actually reasonable - no hooks to hang stuff in bathroom or room.

Location and breakfast variety. Amazing view from the room, and very good customer service in reception. Martha and Alex were very nice and welcoming, and helped us in everything we needed. I would definitely come back. Also the young blonde lady in the bar was very nice, I didn't catch her name.

Breakfast opening times changed without notice. We felt rushed to leave before finishing. At 10am sharp the staff started removing all the plates. I asked if I could take my coffee up to my room and drink it there, and I've been told to go to the bar and buy one... The shower was small and the curtains too short, so all the water flooded the bathroom floor. We were given extra bath mats upon request.

The property and the stay were good indeed. However, I have decided to give it fewer points, because of what happened on arrival. I had booked a superior room with a sea view. A weekly stay was around 300€ more expensive in a superior room than in a standard room, which we were assigned to our surprise when we arrived. Probably if I had not complained, we would have stayed there till the end. They told us the hotel was fully booked and we should wait till the next day. Next day, before breakfast, we were told we would get a superior room the following day. I said no and demanded to speak to the manager. The manager never showed up but on the way back from breakfast we were informed that a new room was assigned. And this was the superior room. I complained to booking. com but I don’t think they will do anything about it. I should be paid back the difference for the first night!

As above, such practices should not happen in the civilized world these days. I do recommend this place, but you need to be careful as they may cheat on you. They will charge a higher rate, but you will end up in a shit hole.

The hotel was amazing. Very kind and helpful staff. The breakfast was delicious. Very good communication with the hotel before the arriving. Our flight was an early one and we were at the hotel at 9:30 - the hotel expected us and our room was ready. Thank you very much for that. The location is perfect, 100 metres to the beach, close to the restaurants, 20 minutes to the castle by foot. Highly recommend! Definitely will choose it for the next stay.

Everything was great.

The view from the sea view rooms (at least from the 3rd floor, where we were, and, I assume, above) was excellent. The staff was extra friendly and helpful! The breakfast and the facilities were very good, on par with what one would expect from a 4 star hotel. The fact that the hotel had events (a pianist at Sundays and a band at Wednesdays) was a very nice touch!

While not a major disadvantage, similar hotels usually have additional toiletries, besides shampoo, liquid soap and shower gel.

What we loved the most was the location of the hotel, the cleanliness, which is really important to us and the room in general. The room was simply perfect. We liked the style, the lightning and the view was simply amazing. They also offered very good breakfasts, offering also pancake and eggs. Please note, that the price of the stay must be payed at the end with bank card, not by cash. We liked the bar, as they’ve served very tasty cocktails. Real luxury. Staff was very kind and polite, especially staff in breakfast area. They make you feel very welcome and they are ready to help you anytime. Perhaps the hotel should consider adding all inclusive into their offer.

The colour at the pool was leaking, so we had white stains all over our bodies during our stay. Also note, that Rhodes town is very windy…. you won’t be able to sit outside and eat the breakfast normally.. but that’s not the hotels fault, it’s Rhodes town area in general. Otherwise our stay at cactus hotel was good and we are glad, that we chose them.

We loved the Cactus Hotel! It has everything you could possibly need on vacation. The location is an absolute 10/10, right on the beach, yet close to the city center, within walking distance to everything. A few minutes walk to many restaurants, bars, shops, bazaar, etc. Our room had a sea view, so we could enjoy the view from the terrace. The beach next to the hotel is pebbled, so the water is very clean and the hotel pool is nice to cool off in. The staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast at the hotel was wonderful. We can highly recommend the hotel :)

The location of the hotel, the kindness and professionalism of the staff, especially the General Manager and the Front Desk Manager, good quality breakfast, the incredible views...

Rooms are of different sizes, hence comfort may vary. This may affect particularly tall people, like me, who enjoy a lot of space. This is related the the hotel structure, of course, but maybe it should somehow be made visible when booking.
