The spa was amazing and beautiful especially relaxing after a long day out exploring. The vibe of the hotel was really cool, the lobby felt like a homely living room, very cosy to sit down in and have a drink. The cafe inside the hotel was my other favourite place, not only were the pastries out of this world but the cozy ambience made me want to go back every day. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so I can’t speak for that, but ate a few times breakfast at the cafe. Loved everything and the staff was great. There are lockers to leave your luggage in if you need to check out early but want to spend the day going around. Very handy.

The only downside was that in our room only the bathtub and the toilet was in the bathroom, the sink outside which was a little strange and the bathroom door was quite thin, with a gap underneath.

Stayed with my 15 year old daughter for a birthday trip to Iceland. We absolutely loved everything about the hotel. Immaculately clean and stylish with the comfiest beds ever. Perfect location for trips with bus stop 15 across the street, and only a 5 min walk into town. Loads of restaurants nearby too. The spa/gym facilities were fantastic to use after a long day out. The best part of our stay was all the incredibly helpful and friendly staff who went over and above to help. Of course, we also met the hotel cat too! Thank you to you all for a great stay! ❤️

Location - walking distance to many attractions, even the city centre is not far off. Good quality bed. Did not take breakfast or food, so cannot comment on that. But, the attached Hygge bakery is very nice. Staff very kind and helpful.

No double bed - only twin bed/mattresses, put together, with separate quilts. Hotels should consider a proper double bed facility. Gym is quite basic and small - one treadmill, one bike, a bench, one set of weights, few mats and stretch bands. No place for more than three people to train together. Washbasin outside the bathroom - ideally, it should be inside the bathroom for full privacy.

I chose this hotel because of the location and it was a great choice. It's in the Old Harbour, no loud outside noise coming in from tourists (lol, I am one too, I know), yet still close to the downtown area and also surrounded by restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, and tourist attractions. The room was good and they even surprised us with a plate of desserts for our anniversary. All in all it was a good choice.

The bed - everyone has their own preference, unfortunately the bed was way too firm for us so we didn't really get a good night's sleep. Spa - if there is already a spa in the hotel, I kind of expect to be able to use it without having to pay additional fee. It is a small cost if you're staying for / more than 3 days, but still. They could put a time limit on the spa visit, and still let the guests enjoy this facility. We ended up not paying the fee. The breakfast - I try not to put negative comments in these, especially if I liked a place, but don't pay for breakfast! Just go to Hygge, for their fresh, tasty pastries, which is right next to the hotel or walk 6-8 mins to DEIG Workshop for their amazing bagel sandwiches and doughnuts.

Location is excellent. Close to the harbour and a short walk to town centre. Rooms were pretty spacious and the blackout curtains were very effective. Spa area is lovely and wasn’t busy.

Next door is a building site currently and our rooms overlooked a mass of twisted metal, bulldozers, etc but not the hotel’s fault. Imagine this work will go on for some time though.

Great location, stay was excellent.

Since my visit I have been receiving emails from what appears to be the hotel asking for card details to check payment, but it is a scam. This has been going on for two weeks and it does not appear to have been rectified. Contacted the hotel, but it is concerning how this has not yet been sorted and my details have been compromised.

The location is great - very close to the old harbour and just a few mins (5-10) walk into the centre. The reception staff at the hotel were exceptional - so helpful and friendly. Our first activity was cancelled due to weather and they helped us to book alternatives and advised us brilliantly - we really appreciated it.

Convenient location. Welcoming staff at reception and in the restaurant. We paid for breakfast and spa included and both were awesome. Coffee and croissants were provided on the last day even though restaurant was closed when we left.

The bath water backed up into the sink. The ensuite had a musty smell.

A great location to explore Reykjavik, 2 mins walk to bus stop 15 which is used for pick ups to various locations including the FlyBus. Also an easy walk into the centre of town as well as to the harbour area. A warm welcome and helpful staff at the desk who also booked a trip to the Sky Lagoon for us and answered any questions we had with a smile. Lovely room on the top floor, with a spacious bathroom and very comfortable beds. We had access to the spa which was almost empty during mornings and a great way to start the day! The breakfast room was busy between 9-10 but the staff worked hard to keep everything stocked and there was a good range of food.

Only a couple of very small things - the juice at breakfast was not great ( tasted like cordial). The long soft bench seating in the breakfast room could do with a wash. The cleanliness in all other areas was great.

The spa is excellent and was great to relax in after a day's work, however needs to be booked in advance otherwise it can get crowded. Room was fine, access easy and a few museums, restaurants, the marina and other great sights are within 5-10 min walk.

The worst thing is the bathroom, in particular the sink. While there's both a bathtub and a shower, and the bathroom is large, the sink is microscopic, the size found in aircraft toilets! It's impossible to wash and even with the greatest care, there's massive splashing around. Whoever did that, needs a serious mental check. The working corner in the room is not ideal: lighting is poor, position not comfy, furniture inadequate. It's workable, but could be improved a lot.
