Loved the location and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The bed was a little hard for our liking but that’s just personal choice. The air conditioning was good but struggled on the very humid days and nights. The pool area was good it’s just a shame that selfish guest get out there early in the morning and put their towels down to reserve shady spots then don’t even sit there for half the time. Perhaps staff could walk by and remove after two hours if not used. Then other guests get a chance.

Lovely hotel with very accommodating and friendly management and staff, who went out of their way to look after us. The rooms were big and clean with a delicious breakfast options. The grounds and pool are lovely and well maintained. The WiFi throughout the hotel worked well. Located within walking distance to some great restaurants and the beautiful Sanur beach. We are already planning our next stay.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like. I just might mention some of the rooms are upstairs and if you can’t manage stairs then contact the hotel prior to booking and they will do their best to accommodate down stairs rooms.

It’s literally in the middle of the city and close to everywhere.

The toilet, floors, furniture, and everything in the room were dirty. The sheets were stained and had an unpleasant smell. If the hotel were to improve cleanliness and renovate some areas, it could be rated a 10/10.

The Hotel was lovely. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Rooms were cleaned every day and were very spacious (we had a standard double ). The location is excellent 5 mins walk from beach. Loads of restaurants and 2 lovely silver shops 2 mins away! Gardens were beautiful. Huge bed and very comfortable. Extremely good value for money, we felt we got lots for our money.

Lack of plugs in the room for all the gadgets everyone needs to plug in these days! As others have said, hot water not reliable (but that didn't bother us as bali was very hot!). Somethings like the bathrooms could be updated but then it would cost more!

Balinese style older hotel in lovely grounds, with a small but adequate pool. The hotel has no food options itself, but is an excellent location for restaurants, spas, shops, and beach. The staff are friendly and happy, the front desk/reception always helpful.

Low water pressure in sink and bath, Shower is in-bath and there is no handrail - easy to slip. No shower curtain, so tiled floor is wet near the shower head - another slip risk. No soap/handwash provided, but a low-price hotel obviously has to keep costs down. Some of the pillows smell and need washing or replacing, The balcony wall is only knee height. Note that the hotel has no lift, 18 stairs to first floor and 38 stairs to second floor (which didn't bother me but could be an issue for some, if so then book a ground floor room).

After having a week in a big resort in Nusa Dua we wanted something more traditional . You arrive at what seems a normal hotel but find a small unique quiet hotel with traditional grounds . We had a spacious ground floor bureau type room with a balcony , overlooking the temple . Not all rooms overlook the pool , but was literally at the back of our room . Not a big pool but never crowed with only 30 rooms in the hotel .Lovely for a cool off after a busy morning exploring . A large bathroom with a seperate bath from shower area The staff were attentive to any needs and super helpful dealing with drivers etc .we liked that there was no restaurant or bar as you only had to walk out the door and be in a busy street with western and local food ,drink and shopping options . A very short walk down the lane leading to Sanur beach and and many more options available

The room was way more spacious than I expected and the view was STUNNING! I was looking straight out to the garden and temple area, I swear I spent half my trip just sitting on the balcony, drinking tea, feeling immense peace and staring out at the view! The pool was also beautiful and so relaxing, lots of morning sun so just be careful not to burn like me lol. Shower had hot water which was great to feel extra clean. Location was close to everything I needed - good shopping, cheap massages, great food options. Staff were SO kind and exhibited true Bali hospitality. Everyone was so nice and they helped with any extra questions for travel or booking taxis, etc. Also the breakfast across the street had an unbelievable selection and was definitely worth the money! Would stay here again in an instant if I'm ever in Sanur again.

I wish the showers had a little curtain because it's hard to not splash water everywhere, but I know that's pretty typical in Bali. I was too tall for the shower head so I had to squat to wash my hair and the bathroom ended up very wet, but the water pressure and temperature was great!

Loved the location So close to beach easy 5min stroll to beach and I am old and slow The staff are brilliant I do need to do a extra special heartfelt thankyou to beautiful Eka. Eka always had the biggest most beautiful smile on her gorgeous face. She was extremely friendly and ready to help in anyway she could. She even accomodated by late morning get ups lol. The rooms are exceptionally clean with comfortable beds and the whitest crispect sheets I have ever slept in The air conditioning g worked extremely well and most times roo kept cool even when air con was off The pool is nice and clean however is a bit on warm side which is fairly standard in Bali so no biggie There were always avail lounges and on rare occasion there were not any spares bean bag chairs were put out
