Excellent location, the bed was comfortable, a good shower. Definitely the best thing about this hot is the location, it's very close to everything in the city centre.
We didn't get the room we paid for ,we were supposed to get a room with a street view instead we got a room looking out onto a roof which was disappointing, the food in the restaurant was only ok , the presentation is good but that's all , I got fish and chips and the greece was running out of fish. The food and drinks are very expensive, there is a coffee shop across the road for a fraction of the price, I would highly recommend it.

Very good breakfast. Very helpful staff. Quite good location in the city center (though offset by a poor room insulation). Close-by parking in a shopping center, with a short-stay-type access card available for purchase (the discount was a good bargain compared to by-the-hour tickets). Lots of tourist attractions and restaurants within a walking distance.
Payment for a full stay was charged before arrival (despite earlier card preauthorisation). The room was not well insulated, so with windows facing a busy street the traffic could be heard all the time. The hotel staff issued us with a parking card which was not of the required type, had to be fixed by the parking personnel.

I can’t praise the George Hotel enough. I’ve stayed here multiple times when visiting Limerick for work or seeing friends. Firstly, the staff are always exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The rooms I’ve stayed in over the years have been spacious, clean and stylish. I recently got to stay on the 7th floor which gave me a beautiful balcony and view of the Treaty City. It was my partners graduation for our most recent visit and I had a bouquet delivered to the room which made the stay even more memorable - the flowers were fresh and vibrant. Breakfast at the hotel is always worth getting. Loads of vegetarian and gluten free options (I am veggie my partner is celiac). I’ve had dinner there a few times now too and the food is always very tasty! Again, staff are very attentive and positive.
I love the George Hotel, I think that its sister hotel, The Savoy pales in comparison.

Very central and close to where I needed to go for work. The rooms were clean and modern. The receptionist on my first morning was lovely and very professional and located my phone charger from my room after I'd requested a quieter room.
I was allocated a triple room but it was at the front of the hotel above a bar and it was a bit on the noisy side with people below, the pedestrian lights clicking and early morning traffic so I requested a quieter room. The second room was lovely and quiet but slightly chilly, and I couldn't work the heating system. It was fine once I was in bed!

Location was great! It was really clean! Was nice to have restaurants on location. The staff were mostly helpful. A certain shout out to Kevin on the front desk! Amazingly kind and patient.
Finicky hair dryer and iron. Both need to be looked and replaced. Felt that the front desk staff were lacking solid skills - maybe they were new. All except Kevin.

Lovely comfortable family room that accommodated the four of us. The coffee machine was an added bonus rather than the usual Kettle and sachet of coffee. The evening meal was exceptional.
The Bathroom wasn't really child friendly with a hyper two-year-old running loose in the room!! Breakfast wasn't as good as I'd expected after a really satisfying meal the previous night. The mix up for an already paid meal was as confusing for myself as well as staff involved. As I'd pointed out to staff the hotel website didn't offer children option when booking a meal, (Adult only option) which led to confusion as to attempting to bill me a second time for an already paid meal.

Location is centre of town, so close to everything.. most popular pubs and restaurants around the corner. Very clean and modern rooms. Very modern bar and restaurant. Food quality was 5 star.
Parking is off-site, but it's 10euro a day in a nearby multistory. Noise in the rooms from the street. Rooms aren't well insulated, so the noise travels from the street, and because it's so central, it's busy all the time. Rooms are very warm, need air-conditioning, or if there is air-conditioning it wasn't working. But all minor things, still give the place 5 stars I had a great time there.

Comfortable, generous, clean and modern room, with a super bed. Very central location, great for a short or weekend break. The hotel team are friendly, helpful and very welcoming; - same for the restaurant and bar.
Earplugs recommended. As the room was on the 7th storey facing O'Connell Street, some background street noise is accepted, but not to the degree noticed in the hours after midnight and early mornings; - could this be due to older double-glazing/ventilation slots??

The girl at reception was very friendly and chatty. Even though it was very busy. We booked a family room and were delighted when we realised it was a suite. Perfect for us and our teenage son. He had a very comfortable sofabed in the sitting room area and we had a huge queen size bed in a separate room. Very comfortable beds!! The balcony was also a nice surprise. Great having a Nespresso machine and the cleaning lady was happy to give me a few pods when I told her we only had 2. The room and bathroom was spotless.
The only complaint we have is It was very warm. No air conditioning.

Location is excellent. Modern, secure hotel, pleasant staff.
I didn’t like the fact that payment for the two rooms was taken from my account before I had arrived. I booked two triple rooms for a staff night out with expectation that we could all pay our share at reception upon check-in. Noise/continual beeping from a pedestrian crossing could be heard all through the night from our room 4031. Breakfast was only okay. Basket of toast was cold and too few mini pastries.
