The location is excellent—just 20 steps from Wien Hauptbahnhof, Vienna’s main train station. It was very convenient for me to travel back to Prague and for my short trip to Bratislava. For Muslim travellers, there’s a Turkish stall inside the station near the entrance (if you’re coming from the Ibis hotel) where you can get kebab & other halal meals.

Perhaps the hotel could consider providing bottled mineral or drinking water in the rooms for guests’ convenience. This would allow us to have easy access to drinking water during the night without needing to go down to the lobby.

The hotel is simply fantastic. Clean, spacious, cozy rooms with AC and comfy beds. Staff at reception were kind and helpful at all time. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, ,but it's right next to Vienna's main train and bus station, plus there are several tram stops nearby, and it's surroundings are marked by modern buildings, restaurants, supermarkets and clean, ample safe streets. One last detail I really liked about this hotel is that they provide free coffee at reception. I know it may sound unimportant, but I thought it was a nice touch. I would definitely return to ibis Hauptbanof on my next trip to Vienna.

Nothing really. The hotel exceeded my expectations, thus I was very satisfied with my experience.

I stayed at this hotel during my three-day visit to Vienna. The hotel is right next to Vienna’s main train station, so there is no transportation problem. You can reach the city center in 10 minutes by metro. Inside the main train station, there are many shops and restaurants that could be useful. Our room was cleaned every day, and I was very satisfied. If I come to Vienna again, I would choose this hotel again.”

Excellent location, close to major attractions and of course bang in front of the train station - which is extremely helpful for travelers. Really nice breakfast and a very friendly staff both at the reception as well as breakfast area. Water filing station - which is very convenient, and good beer (you have to pay it for it) in the reception area which was very nice to just sit and relax.

Even though we got the seventh floor, it was a bit warm in the room as the A/C was not fully functioning. I know this is a 3 star hotel, but I think they really should consider providing basic essentials like body lotion, shampoo and conditioner.

This hotel is fantastically well located. It is about 100 yards or less from a main entrance of the Vienna (Wien) Hauptbahnhof, from which a train runs directly to Vienna's airport and other trains run in all directions. If that's not a convenient location... The hotel's self-service breakfast is very generous, with plenty of space allotted to it for sitting down. And I found the staff helpful and friendly. And checking out was as easy as dropping my room keys with envelope-holder into a sort of fishbowl. I would not call it atmospheric, but being there in a heat wave, I was grateful for its powerful air-conditioning. Plus much atmospheric stuff is only a ten minute (??) walk away.

The location is great. There are several restaurants, bars and attractions close to the hotel (e.g., including AufZug Cafe and Belvedere). The main draw to this hotel is that it is across the street from the Wien Hauptbahnhof, with direct trains to the airport. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

However, there were no toiletries or an iron in the room. I needed to iron clothes for a meeting before my flight. However, when I asked the front desk they told me that both Ibis and Novotel share ONE ironing room between both hotels for all of the guests. Moreover, if I were to have used the iron, I would have to go to the second floor of the iBis, transfer to Novotel, iron my clothes there, ask for access to return to the iBis Hotel from the front desk, with my clothes on a hanger. That is pretty inconvenient. So, I decided to change my outfit and wear a less wrinkled one. I strongly recommend creating two ironing rooms on every other floor.

Very happy with my stay at ibis Wien Hauptbahnhof. My room was comfortable with a large desk, sufficient storage space, comfortable bed, a large window, good lighting, a well-designed bathroom, and black-out curtains for a good night’s sleep. – The location is perfect right opposite the main railway station and the major U-Bahn (underground) line U1. Belvedere Palace is nearby. – The breakfast buffet is very good and plentiful. Staff at reception and in the breakfast room were very friendly and helpful. – While there are no tea / coffee making facilities in the rooms, free beverages are available in the reception area. – ibis Wien Hauptbahnhof was the perfect choice for me. I ended up extending my stay. I certainly recommend ibis Wien Hauptbahnhof.

Having to manually reconnect to or even sign into the WiFi network each time I returned to my room.

The location is excellent right next to Vienna Hbf. The staff is super lovely and helpful. Breakfast was a highlight of my stay! Great choice and something for everyone there, also the breakfast room had a great view and the breakfast staff was super friendly. Welcomed you with a smile and was very attentive.

The reception area is big but not inviting. More seating areas for people who come and don't want to eat their dinner in the room would be good. The chairs by the business centre are way too low, and don't really invite someone to sit there and work. The matrasses need an update/upgrade and a suitcase rack would be useful in the rooms as well.

This hotel really has good location. Near bus and train status. It is 20-25 walk time to Vienna old town and other historical places. Staff is very kind they even helped me to check in early without any payment. Hole has mini games to spend time. Worth it.

If there was more little details like one time usable tea or coffee with kettle will be good, also tv doesn’t have internet access so you can’t even use youtube on TV. Also lack of safe for room. Also the AC doesn’t have enough power I wake up because of room temperature, despite I conditioned ac to max cold.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, situated directly opposite the main train station, allowing easy access to the city center within 5-10 minutes by a single mode of transportation. We specifically chose Ibis for our stay, and upon reflection, we are delighted with our decision. The experience exceeded our expectations, and we can recommend it highly enough.
