Excellent location close to the Vaporetto and St Mark’s square. Clean, good value and it was handy having an elevator to move our luggage. Spacious room with plenty of space for our bags. Friendly hotel staff. Provided us with a free map and advice on Vaporetto lines.

We opened the windows to let in some fresh air and a lot of mosquitos came in. Luckily we had insect repellent. No kettle provided in room.

Mosquitos were a problem if you left windows open....however, no need to with heat pump/AC unit in room

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! Also, the location of this hotel was superb as it was about 7 min walk to St. Marc's square. There is an abundance of good restaurants right around the hotel and the staff made two excellent recommendations since we arrived there late in the evening. There was always someone staffing the desk to ring us in regardless of when we'd return from eating or sightseeing. We felt extremely safe here. Transportation to and from the hotel from the main train station is very easy using water taxi's or water busses (highly recommended). The hotel breakfast was also very good although we only used it twice as there are so many excellent diverse options nearby. We thought the value of this hotel was excellent given what someone could otherwise pay for in Venice and we would absolutely stay here again on a future visit.

The hotel room was a lively size and the decor was perfect for the environment of Venice. The location is perfect as it is 5 minutes walk from the St Mark Square. All the staff were amazing and very helpful whenever we needed help. Fully aircon which really helped in the hot Venice sun and simply a beautiful hotel especially for the price. Simply amazing.

We enjoyed all our stay. The only thing which may have helped would be a fridge to keep drinks cool in the room and maybe a water fountain in the hotel as the only taps are in the bathroom. However these are very minor things and I am sure we could have asked the staff to use facilities on site somewhere however we decided not to. Also there is a public water fountain in the square 2 minutes walk walk away

Location was great. Close to all the things you want to see and short walk to main lagoon. Breakfast was a good value for the area. Nice continental breakfast. Had a bar / sitting area just off the lobby and prices were much better than expected for a Hotel. The staff was great, helpful, and knowledgeable about the off the beaten path places to eat, etc.

Really, nothing. Everything met or exceeded expectations. If anything it was they only had soft boiled eggs, and I like hard-boiled. Can't find any flaws on this stay, would definitely stay here again.

Firstly, all the staff so helpful and friendly. Room was double room with a balcony. Hotel is very old &very out dated but our room was lovely. Bathroom newly done up and very clean. Beds made everyday and fresh towel ready after a long day of walking exploring Venice. Literally 2min walk to the Main square and other sote seeings. Would defo stay again..Really nice bar to the left of the hotel (can't remember what it's called but chilled vibe and few little seats outside)

Resteraunts located outside the hotel. I would not eat in them, we ate as we had just arrived but very overpriced if you walk 2/3mins over the rivers they're is a quirky bar just to the left not sure of the name bit they do fab cocktails it's just up on the left across from a little convince store🥰

Traditional, family-run Venice hotel ideally located in the heart of the Castello near San Marco. The hotel is modest, with smallish rooms, but it is impeccably clean and run by an incredibly warm and helpful staff, likely reflective that this is a family-owned establish and the owners are regularly onsite working the front desk and making sure things run smoothly. I come to Venice every year for work and this has been the best value for money of all my trips so far. I will definitely be back.

Our stay at Hotel Fortuna was absolutely magical. The location is unbeatable, tucked away on a quiet street just a few steps from St. Mark's Square, making it the perfect base for exploring Venice. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering excellent recommendations for restaurants and sights. Our room was charming, impeccably clean. We'll definitely be returning to this wonderful hotel on our next trip to Venice.

The hotel's location is excellent. Everything is within walking distance. You have to pay extra for breakfast, but the buffet breakfast is very adequate and worth the price. The hotel staff is very attentive and helpful. All in all, it was a great value for money hotel. It met our needs.

The downsides were that there was no refrigerator in the room, and the hotel and its furnishings were old. The bathroom was not practical.

The staffs were friendly and very helpful! The room is very clean and tiny. Super great location to the water bus station, restaurant & bars and it is also in nice walkable distance to the biennale. It got everything I needed it. At the end, it is more of a personal preference of the mattress is too soft, and your hip you sink into the mattress while you sleep through the night, which is not what I prefer to be more of a firm mattress. Otherwise, everything is great; will come back again next time visiting Venice.
